I have the same bike and I just got my progressive shocks but I'm a...well I'm 3 bills on the hoof so I went UP a half inch to compensate for the extra weight. I'll get back atcha when I'm done.
I am curious as to what you did with you rear turn signal setup as far as the wiring goes. I just threw a burley slammer kit on mine a few weeks ago. I have already had to remove the fender three times now to repair wiring from the tire bouncing up and hitting it. it has caused a multitude of problems. At first it shorted out the system causing my fuel gauge to quit working and as of yesterday I have no rear lights at all. The shocks are set on the hardest setting and my wires are run on the sides of the fender (inside). I also cut a very sturdy piece of fuel hose and ran the wires through it where they go through the fender under the seat so they would have some sort of protective sleeve around them and not contact the metal of the fender. I am only 150lbs so I know my light ass isn't the problem. Could you please tell what you did with yours or if you have even had the same issue at all....
Not at all mate, I got this super sticky 3M plastic wire holding clips that stick to the inside of the rear fender holding all my wires in place, 10,000kms later and there still in place. Just clean the surface really well and once there on, they aint movin mate!
So will shorter shocks go right on my 2015 street Bob without any other modifications? Just bolt then on and go? I’m wanting to get some shorties and drop that thing bro
@@jazrad666 damn. What a good upgrade eBay has some pretty nice 10.5 inch blacked out shocks for 80 bucks that’s a steal. I’m going to grab some this weekend my bikes is really coming together well
Have a question, I have a street Bob just like yours and I bought it pre lowered with the purely low shocks, I want to put the progressive 412's but I want stock height back for 2 up...can I get stock height out of these shocks or do they lower it?
Hey once you installed the new rear shocks, Did you find you still had plenty of clearance between the wheel and the rear fender when riding and going over bumps? Like no wheel squeal or rubbing. Also any belt adjustment? and what model of progressive shocks did you use? thanks

the highest setting feels higher than the stock height mate!

Rebimk 411 mate, loads of clearance when riding too. on the lowest setting it does hit the bump stops tho, and breaks ya back too!

Yes mate thats fine and should still be OK on the road, If its too low or rides hard, Just adjust the rear shocks

Grab a shock tool and rotate the bottom section left or right to adjust the height :)

yeah 100000 times better than the stock HD ones mate! yes on the lowest setting they will hit the bump stops!
