    I don't know where you are getting your base salary data but I am a financial analyst who has worked as an accountant. Unless the base salary has increased $11k-$20k in the past 6 months they are way off. I live in a major metropolitan area with very competitive salaries for starting financial analysts. Positions in New York City and Philadelphia are roughly $25,000 lower than your estimates.

      @@tmenphenom5776 Hi! Thanks for reaching out.
      For insights on annual salaries, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is a reliable source. As of May 2022, they've indicated that the national median annual wage for accountants and auditors stands at $78,000.
      The top-earning 10% of accountants and auditors earned more than $132,690, while the lowest-earning 10% earned less than $48,560. And the top-paying industries for accountants and auditors were media streaming distribution services, social networks, and other media networks and content providers ($144,780 per year); drinking places (alcoholic beverages) ($134,270 per year); and computer and peripheral equipment manufacturing ($124,180 per year).
      In our estimation of the salary range for accountants, as per BLS data, we've accounted for the full spectrum, hence the range of $62k to $132k.
      In addition, Glassdoor confidently reports that the average salary for an Accountant is $87,549 per year in United States.
      Here's what they say, "The estimated total pay for a Accountant is $87,549 per year in the United States area, with an average salary of $76,170 per year. These numbers represent the median, which is the midpoint of the ranges from our proprietary Total Pay Estimate model and based on salaries collected from our users. "

    What about PE and VC jobs?

    • @365FinancialAnalyst
      @365FinancialAnalyst  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your question about Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC) jobs.
      These are indeed high-paying and prestigious roles within the finance sector. The focus of our video is to highlight positions that not only offer competitive salaries but also have a broader accessibility for finance professionals and a wider range of entry points into the industry.
      PE and VC jobs often require a highly specific set of skills and experience, making them less attainable for the majority of job seekers. Additionally, the BLS data and job growth projections used as a basis for this list have more substantial evidence for the roles included.
      Of course, PE and VC are fantastic career paths for those who can navigate their more niche demands, and they could certainly feature in our future discussions on specialized finance careers. Thanks again for your engagement and interest!
