I've always struggled to understand how so many people can hate nickelback so much. I have yet to see or hear one thing that is anything but genuine rock star quality music.

Saw them at the Stampede last night and I immediately understand the hate. They have a great catalog of hard rock/metal stuff but never play any of it live. Chad is obsessed with playing wedding songs, their top 40 hits, and melodramatic ballads. The spotify playlist I made of their stuff that I listened to before the show, was better than their actual show.

@TheLimo64 I saw them once back in like 2003 ro 2004 I think I was 17 and standing at aboutt 6'4 or 6'5 and I was in the second row of seats at our local small venue with a pit thats only like 12 ppl deep, and I stood up during either this song or too bad and chad was staring right at me lol. he was like "holy shit!" guess it didnt help to hide me that I had on a bright red west coast choppers shirt. I seriously thought there was a hot naked chick behind me or something.
@TheLimo64 Id go see them again but they are too into porn rock for my taste now, I liked them more when it was still about the hard rock and less about the hard..... lol
