If your cloth is loose, being heavy handed, going over the same spot will cause holes…..yu have to apply equal balance…Get some clips… like hair clips that will puncture through the fabric. Cut yu A nice piece of fabric and cover the hole with it, Place the clips around to hold the piece of fabric to your cloth, then use your tufting gun ( use the color of yarn yu need) and tuft over the patch. Take the clips out.. I hope this helps
