A lot of the reason these filters get so dirty is the gasket on the frunk is a poor design and doesn't prevent rain or car wash water from going into the fan and eventually the filter. There are youtube videos how to replace that frunk gasket with one that works much better. I did it and noticed a huge difference and so far haven't had any smelly filter issues.
We bought our 2023 Model Y last September. So it has not been quite a year and It is just now starting to slightly smell. I need to do this! Looking at the VION HEPA filters that go in here as well. Wondering if those will limit air flow or not. Just curious what you used for your filters.

I’ve heard this theory, we rarely have rain in Los Angeles, and my filters still need regular replacement. So there goes that theory.

Sorry but your car is so dirty, blaming Tesla filer is not reasonable. Love your videos.
My god, you're butchering that system.
Huh?
@@benelleliv Not sure what system you are talking about?
