My local toy store used to have one of those motion-sensor frogs at the front door. Scared the hoopla out of me more times than I care to admit.
here in Denver a local Asian Imports store has a 'wolf whistle' when you walk through the front door sensor.

From my grandpa I got a nice little wind-up tintoy in the form of a frog which would hop and open it's mouth, sticking out the tongue on which a little fly was painted.

I think those tiny frog clickers were used by paratroopers in WW2 as a simple communication device. If they didnt know whether a person in the shadows was an friend or foe, they would click it. if it was another paratrooper, they click in response. It was kind of a flawed idea though since german guns made similar noises when reloading!! :'(
