With damaging the dots, the ones on eBay are even better then the ones that come with it. They are thinner and work good and hold up and contour to the ball better if hitting into a net. Plus they are cheaper too!!!
Interesting. I generally stick to OEM. Thickness may be something that is needed to properly have the radar read movement of the dot. Not positive here but just proceed with caution. The OEM are not that pricey and they last a very long time. Thanks for watching!
i use the ipad with the Skytrak and wifi. works amazing. this winter hope to get a retractable screen adn projector, but for now it's a netReturn. Love it though - use it every day for a month so far.

Thanks Jay! This video helps me understand the system much better. When I get a mevo+ I will start with just an iPad, so love seeing you demonstrate it like this. If you were doing online play iPad to iPad, I assume you would need an active internet connection? Would the iPad use a dongle for an ethernet cable? Can it use wifi for the mevo+ and ethernet dongle for internet simultaneously?

I ran the E6 connect demo on my regular 2019 iPad. Ran just fine but graphics were definitely lacking compared to a gaming PC or laptop. The iPad just can't quite handle it graphically for obvious reasons.

I was planning on building myself a hitting net for winter practice, but discovering these simulators at fairly reasonable prices I'm really thinking about adding that to my plan. FS Mevo Plus looks like my first choice - I have space and I like not having the yearly subscription price that SkyTrak adds. Couple of questions - the E6 software that comes with the Mevo - only iOS correct? The PC version is if you buy into the program? And No Android option for E6 (I see that FS skills and FS Golf have Anroid versions) - I have an iphone but no iPad. Do you only have access to the Online options with the yearly subscription and the PC version? Ideally I'd like to play head to head with a friend who lives half way across the country. With E6 - do you have the option of a one time purchase? rather than the yearly fee? Thx again for all the info. Researching it all online with a plan to build out in the near future. M

Hello I have a Mevo+ but I have connection issues with the E6 connect. The FS software has no issues at all so I don't suspect a bad unit. I was wondering, since I also use an I-pad, if you had connection issues or do you have any tips for ease of connection. I did watch you video on the Mevo+ connected to TGC and had questions there as well. Again, I have no problems connecting to FS golf or FS skills just the E6.
I’m considering buying a mevo plus for a simulator in piecing together for my shop. It’s out a ways from my house so I do t have WiFi out there. Could I use my iPhone and play it through tv with hdmi cable through cellular data?

Looking at the $300 option I seem to be finding different courses for PC than IPad. For $300 I am finding 15 courses on iPad, and 27 of PC. Is this right or am I seeing things wrong?
It will improve the smoothness of graphics and the size you can project due to the resolution of the screen, but no the graphics themselves stay the same. Thanks for watching
I had the same problem. Contacted E6 support. Apparently you can buy on E6 Connect website, rather than on the iOS device (like it says to do on the E6 website)
hi, what is the setting tilt and roll you have to putt? because mine even on 12° i can't get any goor reads… for a chip about 10y i always have to hit like 20 otherwise it is not read. and putting won't even work...
David Stefanik So that is being worked on now. They do have events but not tournaments yet or structured head to head play. The E6 discord channel and @weekendgolfguy are working on it now
can you buy Pebble Beach on the free version of e6 connect that comes with Mevo Plus? If not, can you access Pebble Beach with an expired subscription after the 1st year?
Is there any way to zoom in when selecting your aim spot in e6. It looks like it would be difficult to pick a certain part of the green to avoid a slope or something...
Drew Lance I totally agree and this is an enhancement many of us have requested and they said they are looking into it. You can’t see the break on the green which makes it difficult. I noticed you selected 5-iron on that first shot but ended up hitting a 6, also hit a 6-iron on the last hole but the software showed 5-wood, and it seemed to read just fine. Is the step of entering that club just a tracking piece? Or is it needed for the Mevo+ to properly determine numbers? Thanks!
They only recommend selecting wedge, iron, or wood :) I even hit irons sometimes with 5 wood selected and it still reads them great. But do what suggested for best results. Thanks for watching

Brent Post I understand but it would require various apps which I think would just be too much development. This allows them to focus on the PC version but allows more people with entry-level devices to at least have an option. I strongly recommend the computer version it’s well worth it in the iPad is great for a mobile solution or start up.

Hi, why do you need E6 if the mevo comes with courses? Is the E6 just the app that displays shots etc?
You can upgrade to the PC version as the included is iOS only. You can also subscribe to get more courses and have P2P online play.

Adam Alday Sony VPL 60 with special short throw lens. It’s a little overboard but nice. 5000 lumens. 16:10 screen but I run 16:9 a lot.

How do you purchase the pebble beach course? I have a skytrak with basic annual subscription. Thanks
You need to purchase it as a premium course through E6. Since you are SkyTrak you have to go directly through them for everything.
