Our recommendations to the software builders. #1 Ball rolling down a hill can sometimes take over 3 to 5 minutes, (needs fixed). #2 need penalties for hitting into sand and rough. #3 needs help tracking any putt over 30 ft. #4 It should be Auto set to wear you can see the ball on your shots instead of not seeing it.
Great video, love that you can just select 3-5 holes from a course you’d like to play(especially for kids). Can you mix and match holes from different courses in E6?
Thanks for watching! I agree, I love that you can select certain holes and even practice at anytime mid round. At this time you can't mix courses but that is a good idea I could suggest to E6 developers. Maybe a par 3 18 course, a mix of the best par 3's out of all 97 courses! hmmmmm

If I buy the latest iPad Air like you are using, will 64 gigs of memory be enough for all the flightscope and E6 apps, as well as downloading the five included courses? I only want to buy one new device and I don't currently use an iPhone. Do you think it would be better to buy an iPad or the new iPhone SE. I would be getting it almost exclusively to run the mevo+. so the first time I connected my mevo+ to E6, it was on a friends iPad, and now I can't get the inculuded content to work on my own iPad, only the demo mode. Any idea how to help? Additionally, once in the app on my ipad, I cannot get back to the main screen where it has the options to "create account" or "Activate" any insight?
I tried the latest iPad air and it worked well. I then moved to the latest iPad pro 11inch which I like just because it is as smooth as you can get and higher resolution for displaying on a projector etc. But latest iPad air is fine.

Mervyn Mc Sweeney doesn’t sound like it for now. The $300 year PC subscription gives you a lot of courses but the biggest benefit is it gives you the ability to play peer to peer online. You can also do the subscription on an iPad
The Belfry course is incorrect 😔 I was looking forward to seeing this course as I live in the UK and have played it many times. Hole 3 is a Par 5, hole 4 is a Par 4 They look very different also. Hole 3 is a fantastic risk reward par 5 (if you hit a decent drive) Can you find out from E6 if they are going to update this course to be correct. Thanks. Love the videos 👍
The tee box it shows for the 4th hole is actually the 3rd green.... The 4th tee box is about 80 yards down the fairway (as shown on E6) This change isn't new either, it was like this for the Ryder Cup when it was last played there

I'm stuck between this and optishot 2. Due to overhead space the optishot let's me play any course as a par 3. Can I set par 3 courses as well with E6/Flight scope?
Thank you for the videos on FLIGHTSCOPE MEVO Plus. They have been very helpful setting my outdoor range up. A few questions for you. One problem I am having is I don’t get volume when using my E6 connect app. Ive played with the audio settings and no joy. Thinking about re installing the app. Thoughts? I have an outdoor simulator type setup using a TV instead of projector, and the E6 connect app wants a 12 degree tilt on FS M+, but the FS app wants me to setup at 18 degrees for “indoor” setup. What do you recommend I go with? I have noticed that E6 connect rates my drives at 225 yards max so far and am wondering if the tilt may be why. Thanks for your time.

I recently got a Mevo+ and started using the free E6 license. When you play a round of golf, under the top right view there is a "power" meter. I've searched everywhere and tried to find what this is for, but I'm not having any luck. Any idea?

Am I doing something wrong or will the Mevo Plus not connect to the IOS E6 Connect for online play? I know the Mevo Plus connects to the Ipad via a WIFI connection. Does this prevent me from playing in online mode because I can't be connected to the Mevo Plus and my home wifi at the same time? Or does the online play become available once I get a $300/$600 yearly subscription to E6 Connect when Im conencted to the Mevo Plus WIFI in E6? Thank you so much!

I bought the mevo because I thought you can play E6 for IOS that comes with the package, but you can not connect to the internet with iphone or ipad and the unit at the same time. E6 wants a land line connection for some reason now. Am i missing something or do I now need to go buy a $1500 Ipad so i can connect an ethernet cable to it. or can i run the program from my laptop now? any advice would be appreciated.
Most likely you are not connected to the device properly? Make sure you have gone through all of the simulator settings and selected the proper device along with have it connected to whatever device you are using via Wi-Fi
Another great video, Jay. Also, you can use Bluetooth tethering from an Android phone to share internet to an iPad over bluetooth (so the Mevo+ can still connect over WiFi). Not sure if you can do this from an iPhone. It might be a good option for those without a cellular iPad?

@@GolfSimulatorVideos what does it actually require internet for? is it just a licence check? or for online play against somebody else? Bluetooth 4.2 has about 1Mbps bandwidth, and BT 5.0 has ~2Mbps. Unfortunately my iPad Pro (2017) is BT 4.2, but my Galaxy S10+ is 5.0. New 2018 onwards iPads have BT 5.0 though.
Finally got the Mevo+ hooked up and recognized in the garage. I am coming to the realization that the E6 license that is with the Mevo+ isn't going to do much for me since I don't like or use Mac or IOS systems. If I was to purchase E6, I'm confused, is it $2500 and an annual subscription of $300 or is it just the annual cost of $300 and renew yearly if wanted?

Does this allow for local multiplayer. With friends or family? My research tells me that skytrak doesn’t with the wgt package in the play and improve. Will it work with this me I plus for the included e6 courses that come with the mevo plus?
Great stuff! I'm a new subscriber. Q: w/ Mevo+ outside, can I use an iPad and still have access to the video recording of my swing for playback or is that only w/ an iPhone? Also, does any iPhone project in 16:9 ratio or just certain versions? I have a 16' impact screen and want to take adv of it. Lastly, does e6 PC software have a combine feature?
I have not tested other iPhones but I think all are 16:9. I am not clear on your question of iPad and iPhone video . I have not tested it myself but if you mean use FS Golf on and iPad to take swing videos as well I would think that would work.
How do you download a course? My download option is grayed out. When I connect to Internet, it wants me to also be connected to the simulator which I cannot do without disconnecting from the Internet.

Thanks for the video. This is a great overview of the included courses, but wondering what else comes with the Mevo+ "out of the box?" I know there's the FS Golf app, the FS Skills app and the limited E6 Connect license. However, what are the 17 practice areas/driving ranges that are included with E6? And what driving range (if any) is included with just the FS Golf and Skills apps?

Just got my Mevo+ launch monitor and it is up and running. I also set up an account for e6 connect and have it running on my new iPad Air but e6 connect does not see the Mevo+. I get a warning sign that says Flightscope device not found. Do you have any videos on setting up the mevo+ to e6 connect?
@@GolfSimulatorVideos Yes. I connected to the FS wifi first. Then in e6 I got to the screen where I can select the offline option and got e6 to run! thanks. However after I close e6 and then open it again, it can't find the mevo+ again. I can't find a way to get back to the screen where I selected the offline option. The only way I can get there is to restart my iPad and then reopen e6. Is there a better way to select the offline option?
@@alanmcmaster1423 Once you choose the off-line option you should not have to reconnect to the Internet for a substantial amount of days I want to say it’s like 21 or 30 so then you would be good to connect to the device and launch e6 fresh
Hi Jay I purchased the E6 expanded subscription for my SkyTrak. Doesn’t expire for 6 months I have a Mevo+ now too. Can I use my expanded E6 subscription for my Mevo or do I have to purchase the add on for my Mevo too?
Ok one big question that I think is confusing people on Graphics is you said you have a full version so your graphics will be way better than the free version. You should have used the free version to show the 5 free courses and the graphics cause free version is limited to 480p which your graphics are only limited to what the Ipad can produce. So all viewers, myself included watched video thinking our graphics would look like yours but they don't cause you are running full version
@GolfSimulatorVideos so if you had a newer iPad with A13 or higher you would easily see better graphics on paid version compared to free version. You are saying you did this test and exactly the same?
@@Lefishn honestly, I’m not quite sure what you are referring to as far as paid version. Because if you have a license, then it’s technically paid. None of them are really free other than the demo.
It's too bad that Mevo+ uses a wifi connection to connect to your device and limits you to offline only. SkyTrack connects to your device via your home wifi network.

Quick question, I just got my Mevo+ and I'm struggling to connect it to the E6 and even if it connects doesn't read the shots (put the dot on the ball, right distance, etc) I'm hitting a net outside and just struggling. Even on the FS app would read one shot then won't read the next 5. I'm so dissapointed but with the hope I'm doing something wrong. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
PC Version is much better for sure. They downscaled the greenery heavily for the iOS must be to make it compatible with more older devices. Thanks for watching

so if it's connected via wifi, how do you play online play?
You can get a USB wifi adapter 5ghz if for connecting to the Mevo+. So you can use that for internet or ethernet connection.

Its going to display up to whatever the screen resolution is on the iPad model you are using.

E6 ios is essentially the same as PC just scaled down graphics. You are seeing the exact ios shown here that is included with the Mevo+.

Yes should be plenty, the course sizes are only about 200-400 megs. You will want to use FS Skills on the ipad. it is nice.

You need to unbind that iPad in your E6 portal and rebind it on your iPad

I would not go Optishot. It doesn't even read the ball.

Bound to device. If you want to switch from iPad to iPhone etc. you just unbind using the E6 portal online

In order to play online you need a cellular iPad or a dongle with Ethernet.

Once you have activated the license etc. You can play offline.

elliot_alderson that’s a great question if Bluetooth could connect Internet to software I’ve never tried that but I can investigate.

@@GolfSimulatorVideos what does it actually require internet for? is it just a licence check? or for online play against somebody else? Bluetooth 4.2 has about 1Mbps bandwidth, and BT 5.0 has ~2Mbps. Unfortunately my iPad Pro (2017) is BT 4.2, but my Galaxy S10+ is 5.0. New 2018 onwards iPads have BT 5.0 though.
Finally got the Mevo+ hooked up and recognized in the garage. I am coming to the realization that the E6 license that is with the Mevo+ isn't going to do much for me since I don't like or use Mac or IOS systems. If I was to purchase E6, I'm confused, is it $2500 and an annual subscription of $300 or is it just the annual cost of $300 and renew yearly if wanted?

Does the attempts for offline mode reset back to 27 or 30 when you reconnect back to the internet? Assuming it's to validate the license.

Does this allow for local multiplayer. With friends or family? My research tells me that skytrak doesn’t with the wgt package in the play and improve. Will it work with this me I plus for the included e6 courses that come with the mevo plus?
Yes it does. Yes the included E6 is identical just for iOS only. You can also upgrade very easily for a low price.
Great stuff! I'm a new subscriber. Q: w/ Mevo+ outside, can I use an iPad and still have access to the video recording of my swing for playback or is that only w/ an iPhone? Also, does any iPhone project in 16:9 ratio or just certain versions? I have a 16' impact screen and want to take adv of it. Lastly, does e6 PC software have a combine feature?
I have not tested other iPhones but I think all are 16:9. I am not clear on your question of iPad and iPhone video . I have not tested it myself but if you mean use FS Golf on and iPad to take swing videos as well I would think that would work.

How do you download a course? My download option is grayed out. When I connect to Internet, it wants me to also be connected to the simulator which I cannot do without disconnecting from the Internet.
I am interested in the best way to play E6 with mevo+, PC or IPad ? for a projected screen setup.

Thanks for the video. This is a great overview of the included courses, but wondering what else comes with the Mevo+ "out of the box?" I know there's the FS Golf app, the FS Skills app and the limited E6 Connect license. However, what are the 17 practice areas/driving ranges that are included with E6? And what driving range (if any) is included with just the FS Golf and Skills apps?

Just got my Mevo+ launch monitor and it is up and running. I also set up an account for e6 connect and have it running on my new iPad Air but e6 connect does not see the Mevo+. I get a warning sign that says Flightscope device not found. Do you have any videos on setting up the mevo+ to e6 connect?
Did you connect to it first via Wifi? Password is part of the wifi name. M2-xxxxxx case sensitive
@@GolfSimulatorVideos Yes. I connected to the FS wifi first. Then in e6 I got to the screen where I can select the offline option and got e6 to run! thanks.
However after I close e6 and then open it again, it can't find the mevo+ again. I can't find a way to get back to the screen where I selected the offline option. The only way I can get there is to restart my iPad and then reopen e6. Is there a better way to select the offline option?
@@alanmcmaster1423 Once you choose the off-line option you should not have to reconnect to the Internet for a substantial amount of days I want to say it’s like 21 or 30 so then you would be good to connect to the device and launch e6 fresh

Ok one big question that I think is confusing people on Graphics is you said you have a full version so your graphics will be way better than the free version. You should have used the free version to show the 5 free courses and the graphics cause free version is limited to 480p which your graphics are only limited to what the Ipad can produce. So all viewers, myself included watched video thinking our graphics would look like yours but they don't cause you are running full version
Full or free makes no difference. iOS has much lower graphic quality than PC. iOS on mobile phone vs iPad is even lower.
@GolfSimulatorVideos hmmm they told my the free IOS is limited to 480p but paid IOS is higher anywhere between 640-720p
@GolfSimulatorVideos so if you had a newer iPad with A13 or higher you would easily see better graphics on paid version compared to free version. You are saying you did this test and exactly the same?

It's too bad that Mevo+ uses a wifi connection to connect to your device and limits you to offline only. SkyTrack connects to your device via your home wifi network.

Hi man, thanks for the great content. Quick question, I just got my Mevo+ and I'm struggling to connect it to the E6 and even if it connects doesn't read the shots (put the dot on the ball, right distance, etc) I'm hitting a net outside and just struggling. Even on the FS app would read one shot then won't read the next 5. I'm so dissapointed but with the hope I'm doing something wrong.

I'm sorry but these graphics are terrible! Brings memories of video games on PC back in the 90s.
PC Version is much better for sure. They downscaled the greenery heavily for the iOS must be to make it compatible with more older devices. Thanks for watching
