My EX502 has a newer circuit board, which doesn't require as much de-soldering, only the one main ground attached to (-) battery terminal, then only motor flex cable attaches! Great reference!
He didn’t get a replacement screen he just replaced the polarisation filter, the actual lcd was not damaged just the filter that you can see he peels off. This occurs due to the sunlight breaking down the glue. Any lcd screen with this problem can be fixed by simply peeling off the old polarisation filter, wiping off the old glue residue and replacing it with a new one.
