  • In this video, How to Fix a Fallen Sink, home renovation brothers Dave and Rich show you a fairly easy way to fix a problem when the glue that holds your sink in place in its vanity gives way and the sink falls into the vanity. This is actually a fairly common problem in modern vanities.
There are many repair kits on the market. The one that we chose is the "Never Fall Complete Sink Repair System"
We are Amazon Affiliates, we receive a small commission for qualified purchases. Here is a link to this kit:

This kit is very simple to use.
Support the sink. We just wedged a bunch of stuff under the sink to push it up and into place. You could use a jack or have someone hold it in place.
The bracket that comes with this kit has adhesive tape on it which is awesome because you can simply stick it to your vanity wall and then drill 4 screws into the support. The other end of the bracket fits nicely under your sink rim. This bracket has a turnbuckle that will allow you to snugly secure the top bracket arm. There is also a nut on the bracket that will keep everything in place. IMPORTANT: Don't over tighten or you could crack your sink, just make sure everything is snug. Repeat on the other side of the sink with the second bracket.
Use waterproof silicone around your sink where it meets your vanity.
    That's it!
    Hope this helps!

I recommended this fix to a friend and helped with the installation, based on my own success. However, because of the type of wood surrounding the sink, I had to drill pilot holes before installing the brackets with the provided screws. Not a big deal, but just adding it here in case anyone else runs across this little hiccup!

Love the "snarky" fix at the start of the video. Exactly what my significant other would say!!!! 😝

I used this same fix for my kitchen sink; thanks for the helpful video. I used pizza boxes and some books for the temporary positioning!
