    Thanks for the comparisons on these. Are you using any risers on these skiboards? I'm use snowboard boot bindings but getting boot out problem on Summit (Carbon Pro 118cm) board. Any pointer in the right direction would be super helpful. Thank you!!!

      I am using RVL8 risers. Also, on a 118cm skiboard, it is very dangerous if you don't release it.

    That was a good overview of the models in comparison to each other. As a Blunt 88 owner, I agree with your assessment and ratings. Have you ever tried the RVL8 KTP 101?

    • @SkiboardAwesome
      @SkiboardAwesome  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, KTP is an all-rounder and a good board.:)

    Always used to skiboard with hardboots in the past but haven't been able to for 1 years. Want to get back in the game and have always been jealous of my snowboard friends when not on the slope. How big of a difference will it actually be when using softboots? What setup should I get to get as close to the stiffness of hardboots as possible?

    Thanks for the comparison! I would be really interested in getting your thoughts on these skiboards in the glades, and powder and spring slush conditions?

    How are the revolts for all around park, groomers at the ski hills, and some back yard and a bit of powder hill riding

    Great Video!!! I noticed you never had your top binding on... Why is that? Is the top binding not needed, or do you just feel more comfortable without it? I'm thinking of giving the snowboard bindings a try this season, and from what I see from you, I think I might like it!

      Thank you for watching my video!
      I can do the same performance without that strap. But I think others should use it.
      Please have a good skiboarding life!:D

      @@SkiboardAwesome looks like it would be easier to ride switch without the strap.

    Thanks for the comparison! I’m a very petite 4’10” 95 lbs female. I’ll be skiing mostly Tahoe and Colorado this year. Do you have any recommendations for which skiboards would be the right fit for me?? I’d like a good versatile board.

      You're welcome. And thank you for your comment!
      If the board is too long, it is easy to get injured when it falls, so I think it is better to choose a board of about 90 cm.

      I’ve been skiing on skiboards for 10 years, and have 4 pair of Summits. The Custom 110s are a great all-around skiboard. I’m also petite, 5’2”.

    Are you using a riser kit with those bindings?

  • @KP4196
    @KP4196 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have some question. Why not use the top straps? Is it easier to ride? If not using it, why not use the normal snowboard binding? I love your video.😁

      In general, it's better to have a third strap. However, in my case, the same performance is possible with two straps.

    Are you using regular snowboard bindings, or modified ones with the third strap?

    • @SkiboardAwesome
      @SkiboardAwesome  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have both, but this video uses normal bindings.

    What type of riser are you using? Is it the same one on all the boards?

    • @SkiboardAwesome
      @SkiboardAwesome  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the late reply. I'm using missouri riser from RVL8. Same for all boards.

    Why are you not wearing ski boots?

    • @SkiboardAwesome

      Because I also love snowboarding. And best of all, snowboard boots are easy to walk from the parking lot! lol
