The victims were all travelling for a popular Easter pilgrimage when the bus lost control over a mountain pass and crashed through the barrier. The bus plunged 50 metres into a ravine, bursting into flames as it hit the ground.
The eight-year-old girl that survived is receiving treatment for serious injuries.

Heartbreaking, God rest their souls and I pray for that girl's health and recovery!
"We know the bus lost control..." No, lady, the bus did not lose control ! The bus was not in control of the bus, so it could not lose this control. If there was oncoming traffic at the time, the tragedy could have been much worse. This case points to 99 % human error.
Fauuuci's Sauce i wonder?
@@therealmagadeal3085 He is right, unless the bus lost the brakes or the driver had a medical emergency then its 100% the driver's fault.
Bad maintenance
💉
I think it’s a language/translation error. English is a third language for many in SA.
We offer our sincere Condolences to the victim and family that effected in this accident... sincere from Malaysia...
The complete disregard by public transport of the rules of the road from courtesy, adequate driver training, licensing to roadworthiness in SA has become a national sport.
Aowa papa ke accident bathong......now the whole is blamed for this!!! O ska re gafela wena
That is so very sad. My heart goes out to the poor little girl fighting for her life all the people killed in this terrible crash and their family’s and friends RIP 💜💙💜
Poor souls ... hope the young girl makes it
I hope her family was not with her and is ok for her to be cared for when she gets better
rip too all 🇿🇦
How dreadful. Condolences to the bereaved. May the poor victims rest in peace
Unfortunately, it happens every year, and many more will be killed by road in this weekend
Absolutely horrific heartbreaking and devastating 😭😭
So sad 😢
So sad. Condolences to affected families
Quick recovery angel. RIP departed souls and God's comfort to the loved ones
My condolences ❤❤❤
So sad😢

South Africa roads have become a death trap. Between the road deaths, crime, violence etc the place is a mess
In this case, if the road was that bad, the driver wouldn't have been able to go that fast and would have made the turn over the bridge...
@@LeonKotze70 16 000 people killed on South Africa'd roads every year. Something is terribly wrong.
Road conditions are the least causes of road fatality. Tiredness, drink and drive, drugs, speeding, internal and external pressure, basically 85 per cent of accidents are human factors. We can include witchcraft on the list.😂
@@AJ-sv5qg personally, I believe it has more with our drivers to do than the road... And, the roads are BAD in a lot of places.
@@AJ-sv5qgas for the lie " 16 000" die yearly on the road......why lie on a public platform???? WHY LIE??? LIES LIES EVERYWHERE IS A LIE!!!!
🇬🇭 is here sending her condolences to affected families and SA.
May the victims rest in peace.
Heartbreaking
How can a BUS lose control, the driver lost control of the bus.Said with respect.
Lord have Mercy 🇧🇼🌹🙏
RIP too all 😭😭
Oh Jesus, this is so bad, 🙏🏼🙏🏼😢😢
Stupid driving has caused this imo…
Sad truth, people are always rushing for no reason
Yeah
Tragic
Rest In Peace to Them🕊🙏
Sad
🎉may their soul rest in peace to the smallgirl to recoveren get support from the family❤❤❤
They must rather shut down that Town where the ceremonies are held this time of the year , over many years , hundreds pass away in road accidents to and fro that particular destination.
Really sad news
My heart goes out to the families...😢
😢💔 Such a heartbreaking tragedy. Glad to hear the little girl survived.
That sad
May their souls rest in peace
Very odd. Very!..

Another human sacrifice? When will this stop???

😢😢😢😢THEY ALL WENT RIGHT HOME WITH THEIR CREATOR...
❤ Watching from Philippines 🇵🇭
We need more drivers from da white communities in south Africa...drivers ftom black communities havent yet heard of road safety
🙄🙄🙄🙄🚮
So no one seeing the hight of the bridge.. i mean is not buricated.. poor engineering 😮 they must extend that wall for buricating
Surprised the railings were even in place - normally stolen as vast swathes of missing motorway railings on Johannesburg and surrounds can more than adequately attest.
God have mercy on us
😢😢God
How was filled gas bottles allowed in the bus?
This is Africa
They were in the trailer, not inside the bus
@@Bazana3908ohwwww it's at if they were inside next to their chairs nd holding them
No the engine burst into flames and all the clothing and sleeping easily caught fire. Who carries gas tanks in a bus on the seats?
They have hardly any electricity due to the ongoing blackout due to the incompetent ANC GOVERNMENT. They use the has in their burners to cook the little food they have.
That kind of accident maybe not avoidable but less lives would have been lost if the bridge is not curve in design. So much for human ambition...
I'm an African and from Limpopo and they where going to the church
😢😢
Om shanti 🙏🏼
It looks like one of those home made bus's... how its just flattened in impact.
South Africa is a mess
I wish they helped themselves
😭
Will they ever know the cause of the accident? More likely human error than mechanical failure...
Drywer Bought License for R10 this is new SA new Generation Welcome !
The driver is not even from South Africa, nor the bus and passengers, and R10 is hardly money, another thing even the most experienced drivers causes accidents, just stop spreading lies
LOOKING AT THE DAMAGE BRINGS TWO IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ..
WAS IT FISHTAILING AS IT WAS SLOWING DOWN
OR
WAS IT FISHTAILING AS IT WAS SPEEDING UP
🤔🤔🤔
SPEEDING UP SEEMS MORE TRUE IT WAS GETTING FASTER NOT SLOWER
It’s not a cooncidence only the young girl survived. God watches them. These people were on the way to make sacrifices and conduct which craft. That’s what they do there.

LOSING CONTROL OF BUSSES AND TRUCKS ARE BECOMING A REGULAR THING.. BECAUSE DRYWERS ARE TO DAM LAZY TO PUT THE BUS OR TRUCK IN A LOWER GEAR WHEN GOING AROUND A BEND!!
Going around a bend or going down a hill?

Speeding
We as South Africans know its either speeding or Isis will claim this like they claimed Russia attack and US bridge attack
🤣
Like Ramaphosa really cares?😂
a bus from Botswana, what has SA president to do with it. investigate first.
The people are not South Africans
Self inflicted

Zionists. They are members of the ZCC of SA a sub-group of christianity
Jesus will not come to south africa
Nobody cares
The same every Easter, been that way since the 70s, average weekend death toll 300 by DEI drivers.
It's news, btw. That's what the news talks about.
Many care. The family cares. Botswana cares too.
