multiple time I Watching this video ...but I'm not thinking that at the same time, Pal airlines 747.. was landing in 24R ..then the guy who getting shot the video is in the time landing in 25R...ohhh! amazing ur camera recording...I am very proud off...to u guy... thanks for this
That is what a wind-flexes look like from the out side, the 74 is at it's least fuel load prior to landing. Another word, it's about 70% of the Maximum Take off Weight.
@abeamarra I was lucky ever with 2 air to air shot (in my other video) both on landing, but the other U.S.Air 320 into Phoenix was cut short right before touch down by the FA. Timing also was perfect at around 7PM, partly cloudy sky. This was taken with my PHD camera (push here dummy), since it is easier to hide from the FA.
@abeamarra I apologized, PR102 schedule call for 08:05PM and this video was taken around 7:55PM. In the summer time, LA does not get dark until around 8:30, with winter time much earlier than that. I have another video on LAX airport after touch down, there were still light but getting a bit dark.
+Ju Ko it's actually okay for their landing pattern, between these two aircraft. Trust me there's a gap between them SFO airport does the same thing side by side landing. I know cuz I'm a airplane spotter at LAX.
linjeflyg you're welcome! the 744 of PAL stopped going to LAX ten days ago! and yesterday it was the last flight of a 744 of PAL! they made a ceremony in NAIA! the ending was quite abrupt.. it though they will continue to operate for medium haul! but they decided to phase out all of them..
Philippine Airlines is not making a emergency landing at LAX airport PAL Airlines gone there at Los Angeles Airport, even I rode PAL Airlines to go to Los Angeles Airport But i Live in Signal Hill,California 90755.
Allen Calimot size doesn't matter.. It just happens na ang Landing speed ng plane nya (A319/A320) ay mas mabagal kaysa sa pal. Yung 747 ng pal has a landing speed of 180 knots and the A320 has 140-160 knots. Its just because of the size of the fuselage. Mas maliit ang katawan ng plane nya at mas magaan kaya d kailangan ng mas matulin na landing speed unlike sa pal. Pag pareho cla ng landing speed, before the main landing gear touches down the runway since the nose is pointing about 10° up youll be having a hard time touching down. The 747 is heavy.. :)
If Buses race each other in Edsa, I guess our planes do the same thing on air! LOL!!
Great video! There is nothing like flying.
She’s so gorgeous the queen of the sky...
Sweet! I've flown that PAL jet many times from L.A. to Manila. Love it!
Nice catch with Philippine airlines. 👍🏻
Filipino appreciated that..... HAVE A FUN FLIGHT! :)
Wow! that is awesome side by side with a jumbo jet. Kind of rare to do that. Thanks for sharing your video.
Bet pilots were having fun too! Awesome :D

@factoredin There were times I lost sight of the airbus behind the clouds or the wing-let, would help if sit in front of the wing.

@linjeflyg No wonder why most people experience jet lag when they travel across the Pacific. At 6PM, it would be sundown here in the Philippines.
What's with the wingflex on the PAL plane? Is that how wingflexes look like on the outside or it was just too heavy at that time?
@skbenergy Thank so much.
I'm impressed you got this opportunity to video a PAL B747-400 on final approach at LAX. What time was this video taken?
@gemster18 Thanks for watching.
@CleverCAB Thanks.
Nice catch! Thx for sharing :-)
Thanks for watching
@mrsfilipina25 The footage was taken July 12 at 7:55pm, upon touch down I taped my other " View of Los Angeles Airport and airliners" .
It would be awesome if they did an parallel landing. Nice vid, by the way!
@JABBYS1 Thanks.
@linjeflyg This is 7PM (or 7:55PM on your comment below) in LA? Usually what time does sundown or darkness come?
...great shot...
enjoyed that. Thumbs up.
Thanks
COoL vid!!! niice one
Greetings From Philippines
@linjeflyg Btw, this is nothing about your video but your time zone. Just wondering what time do you have your dinner?
@frequentairbusflyer8 Thanks.
I had no idea they let airliners fly that close together...wow
+Ju Ko it's actually okay for their landing pattern, between these two aircraft. Trust me there's a gap between them SFO airport does the same thing side by side landing. I know cuz I'm a airplane spotter at LAX.
Moy Boone no need to type that much you just need to said "parallel landing"
+Sharmaine Lee Better way off how he did it.
Don't worry about it,they are will experienced pilot
Starburdi Gaming I’d rather have an explanation
@abeamarra around 6pm usually.
Badass video.....
AMAZING!
Those are the MNL - LAX flights!!

where place is that
@yijeongian Thanks, I was on a U.S.Airways A319 inbond from PHX.
i live in that country i ride the cebu pacific but never ride the philippine airline
Maybe the FA also wanted to view your video in TH-cam
the US air had rough landing while PAL made a smooth one LOL!
Wow nice Philippines airlines hahaha
Philippine Airlines is not making a emergency landing at LAX airport PAL Airlines gone there at Los Angeles Airport, even I rode PAL Airlines to go to Los Angeles Airport But i Live in Signal Hill,California 90755.
Awesome
Guess whoever will win! A320 or Philippine Airlines 747? And Why?
in the air race
Airbus 320 is light but Boeing 747 will be more fast i think because of the power of their engine and how many passengers and fuel they have
pa 747 coz im a filipino .. hahaahahahaha nothing else
RIP US Airways And Philippine Airlines 747
When PAL Met USAir
I miss that PAL fleet
isnt that too dangerously close?????!!
:) :) :) im From Philippines
nice
@factoredin the pilot makes that hapen thats y
"asan kana ba sa baguio?"
wow~~~
its race battle in the air
are you pinoy
:airplane 1 oh hi pal :airplane 2 hey watsup
cause PAL is flying on a Boeing 747-400 While the aircraft they're riding is an A319... Kaya mas mabagal ang eroplano nila kaysa sa PAL.

Im on that plane
