We spent 2 weeks staying in Khao Lak, Thailand. This was our first stay here and were unsure of what it had to offer. We have put this video of 8 things to do if you are visiting Khao Lak. This will give you some ideas of what to do. If you have any more information about Khao Lak we would love to hear in the comments below.

Oh wow - we really miss Thai food and love the fact that the video starts with it. Memory beach looks really pretty, whiter than the white beach.

We love rolled ice cream so much! Definitely one of the best desserts! That white sand beach looks amazing as well, would love to explore more of Thailand.

Never seen the potato on the stick before in Thai cuisine. I'd love to try that out! Love Thai food :) Had no idea they had a little tsunami museum. Great list of things to do!

Koh Kham and Surin islands, turtles farm Factory market, Takua Pa old city, waterfalls etc
There is plenty to do in this part of Thailand for sure!
When I was in Thailand I never made is to Khao Lak, but my friends went and said it was amazing too!

oh, I've had that potato on a stick at food trucks in the US. and I love getting massages when i was in Thailand...so cheap!! i keep seeing the thai ice cream in other travel vloggers videos, gotta try that someday!

ahhh I miss those Thai massages! ooo the Thai ice cream too. Great list of suggestions! I didn't make it out to Khao Lak but I did visit the Similian Islands for diving, it wasn't even close to that crowded!! When did you go? I'd love to go back- such beautiful sunsets!!

Oh the bugs looked yummy, not so much. The massage though real nice. Looks like a great place to visit! I so want to try Thai ice crema like that.

What a beautiful looking island. Looks like another one we have to put on our list. This video makes us miss Thailand so much. What is super cool about that though is we did book a flight to Bangkok a few days ago so will be back there in late June. Bring it on!! Cheers, Thomas

Very relaxing not much nightlife and when we were there most bars closed by midnight.
Great tips guys! We hope to visit Thailand, but there are so many great destinations within; it's hard to narrow it down! My favorite looks like it would be the beach.

That potato on a stick looked delicious! Was is hard to order there language wise? I'm sure visiting the Tsunami museum was heartbreaking. I remember when that happened so clearly. So sad.

I have only herd amazing things about Thailand's night markets! the food looks delicious...also I would try a bug. The sunset on Nang thong beach is pretty too!

I'm living in Thailand for now but haven't made it to Khao Lak. Did you enjoy you your two weeks? It looks fairly busy there.
We really enjoyed our time there. It has plenty going on in the day but fairly quiet at night, everything closes down by midnight. Fantastic sunsets and beautiful beaches too.
I love the Thai markets ... the food is amazing and the prices! awesome - also the foot massages - I could have them every day

Did you try any of the insects?
We have had grasshoppers which were very crunchy and salty due to the soya sauce on them. Wouldn't rush back for any more lol!
