I can’t not leave a comment. This song is hauntingly beautiful. It completely captures the character arc of Scylla (MOTHERLAND FORT SALEM) but is also an emotionally cathartic supplication. Flora Leo has written an iconic song for a devoted fandom but It is also a transcendent prayer for any one who have learned from their failures. Who could have embodied this song but the soulful Amalia Holm, who so filled a character (that was not conceived to have make it out of season one) that it birthed an undeniable chemistry that became the glue for the whole series? Brava, creative creatures, and all who made this magical video.
Saying that it’s about learning from your failures really resonates with me - I often think about what Redemption means to me personally and I think that’s it. People deserve second chances, because what we’ve learned from failing is immeasurable. ☺️
