Mihawk and Crocodile is one of the most unexpected duos but I’m here for it. And Buggy failing upwards will never not be satisfying. This chapter was too hype
I think my favorite thing about Cross Guild is that at no point was it ever mentioned that Buggy borrowed money from Crocodile and didnt pay him back yet, the second that was brought up I just felt like, "yeah... that's something Buggy would do" It's such a simple, believable, and funny way to get those characters together. Truly, crocodiles, hawks, and clowns are some of nature's deadliest predators.
Mihawk being the Marine Hunter is so badass. Man was so strong, the Marines recruited him with the sole purpose of getting him to stop beating their asses. Paid a full salary just to get him to bug off and stop slaying marines

I find the arc of Mihawk’s mood the fascinating, it is obvious that his pride was bruised by being seen as an underling of the Buffoon Buggy, but his realization that he really never wanted titles and fame, and just wanted to be left alone, came just in time to save Buggy’s hide from being tanned by Crocodile.
I am a kinda surprised that Oda didn't show us world's reaction about the Crew's bounties because Every times he showed us. I wonder he will show it or not in the upcoming chapters. But to be honest, those screen times brought back lot of memories. So I still want to see it.

We also got confirmation that Mihawk is Yonko level, he himself said: "Using Baggy will keep me from being designated* Yonko." Which means he knows he got that kind of power.
Am I the only one who is excited about Sabo dropping the fact that Vivi is safe with him and telling the truth about the murderer of Kobra while the Marines are listening? I am wondering what's gonna happen, when Akainu will find out. For me this was the most important moment/scene/penal of the whole chapter.
Next Chapter we ought to hear Sabo's side of the story. It's easy to imagine the Gorosei would pin their crime on Sabo to denounce the revolutionary army. I'll bet Sabo has had a big bounty increase as well.
Mihawk has to be using the current situation and resources at his disposal to set himself up for this future war. Crocodile adding Mihawk to his ranks also allows him a seat a the table for revealing history. Would like to know what both Mihawk and Crocodile really want though
We know that Crocodile was basically a Supernova on the rise until Whitebeard humbled him, shattering his dream as Pirate King. My guess is Crocodile wants to be a major player in politics since he's also hunting Poneglyphs way back in Alabasta. This makes him a dangerous threat to the World Government. Mihawk, on the other hand, doesn't really give a shit. He just teamed up with the Cross Guild so the Marines will stop pestering him
I feel bad for Chopper. He is considered a "commander" of the Strawhat crew and his bounty is only 1,000. No one will ever go, "RUN!!!! IT'S THE YONKO COMMANDER COTTON CANDY CHOPPER!!!! HE HAS A BOUNTY OF 1,000!!!!!"
I noticed in the chapter, that Sanji's name on the title was Black-Leg Sanji again. In Whole cake island he got the Vinsmoke Sanji name, but in Wano Oda changed it back to Black-Leg Sanji. Weird
These long awaited bounties were so worth it. Can't wait to see the bounties of all the former warlords including Doflamingo. Finally Jimbei is with us, love seeing him interact with the others. He still has a lot to learn 😂
This shows how buggy became a warlord. Buggy used Crocodiles money to build his company. Buggy did not have the strength to be a warlord on his own and emphasizes that buggy isnt at all strong.
In Combat maybe, but you could also argue that buggys power is equal to Luffy. Remember, Mihawk called Luffys power to rally people to his side the most terrifying ability. Now look at Buggy, look at how he started in Orange town and what sort of names he involves himself with currently. He is basically the flipside to the coin. I mean before everything got powercrept with Haki and what not, Bara Bara no mi and Gomu Gomu no mi both protected against the others weakness, Buggy being immune to being cut, Luffy being immune to being shot. Both Buggy and Luffy are highly dependant on the people around them, with luffy simply admitting it (Arlong) and Buggy always thinking it. And then there is the whole Joyboy thing, making people smile etc etc, Buggy is a damn Clown. I mean of course all of that is theorie, but like.. that is way to obvious. I expect the Bara Bara no mi awaken into the counterpart to Nika.

And it would be pretty hard for Buggy to awaken his fruit since we know that to awaken a fruit your mind has to catch up with your power. And Buggy's mind isnt very strong, so he is only awakening his fruit if its power is weak.

Also Luffy is honest to a fault, and as you said, buggy is basically lying 24/7. This is going a little off topic now, but we used to think that you need a pure heart to become a super saiyan, and suddenly Vegeta just says nah Im pure evil, this works, deal with it. And much later on they gave an explanation as to why it worked. Obviously completely different show, but that principle is not a new one. The fact that Buggy is still around and relevant and that he contradicts Luffy in basically every way cannot be a coincidence. But then again, all of this is pure speculation.

Robin is not the only one who knows how to decipher the poneglyph anymore remember we found out that odens father Sukiyaki was still alive and he was the who taught Oden to read it but no one really knows that he’s still alive apart from the kozuki the straw hats and the heart pirates
Mihawk is an automatic Yonko but he don't want to becuase he wants to live peacefully. Being on par with Shanks says it all. We could say that Shanks is stronger due to his Haki but we only saw Mihawk testing his power against WB and thats it we dont know what Mihawk is really capable of, Mihawk can also have a Conqueror's Haki and might also bypass Shanks ability to negate Observation Haki. He is the strongest swordsman for a reason and dont want to face Shanks again due to losing his arm. Mihawk is one of the under rated Pirate in One Piece story.
@@SirL_56 Mihawk said it himself on chapter 1058 that he is not interested in the title of emperor coz he wants to live in peace. He doesnt have a fleet too and the reason why Buggy became an emperor because of Mihawk, croc and his fleet plus being a former roger pirate but if you put croc as the head i believe that he will not be an emperor its either buggy or mihawk.
I always think that oda make chopper bounty low so when he retired from piracy he'll can cure people without someone hunting him down. It would be fitting with his dream as the best doctor who can cure all diseases. It'll be dificult to cure all diseases if anyone at anytime hunting his head.

As much as I was looking forward to the bounties, and as hyped as I was to see how Cross Guild was formed, for me the statement about Nami and Conqueror’s Haki is the biggest thing from the chapter. Yes, it maybe a throwaway line; but, it goes a long way to explaining a few things about Nami. Putting aside the Conqueror’s Haki itself; everyone who has had it has also had the other two kinds of Haki. Nami’s heightened ability to detect weather could be via observation Haki. More importantly, Nami’s ability to hurt Luffy in much the same way a Garp was able to hurt Luffy could be Armament Haki. Definitely something to watch going forward. Conqueror’s goal: Luffy: King of the Pirates Zoro: World’s Greatest Swordsman Nami: World’s number one Navigator/Cartographer? What better way to ‘Conquer’ the Grand Line than to map it out.
I just had a few thoughts about Kuma and his devil fruit powers while rereading the end. Is he still technically alive? At what point would he lose his abilities and have his powers rejoin the pool? How much of a cyborg is he? Would the concept of inherited will just imply that the theoretical-full-robot Kuma would simply maintain the paw-paw fruit powers?
We know you can put/transfer devil fruit powers to objects… and if he's 100% cyborg that would still be possible and make sense in the context of the story.
I hope so. Kuma’s fruit is one of the most underrated and op fruits out there. Having it and himself full under his own control again would be awesome.

What I find the most satisfying in the story is seeing Robin getting the bounty she deserves. Yeah I think it should've been over 1 Billion but I'm not complain 😎 Also Caribou saying he has to tell "that person" immediately, what if it's crocodile? Remember he was after Pluton. I want to see more of the revolutionary army and world government. I am honestly sick and tired of luffy going to an island and saving it and leaving it to the princess. The best part about one piece is it's complex and intriguing storyline and the mystery of the void century so oda it's time to focus on that. Ps vivi better rejoin the strawhats (she might need protection since it seems that imu and wg is targeting her so my theory is sabo will rescue her and they meet strawhats during their hiding time
I honestly love the crocodile x mihawk x buggy’s alliance because it really emphasises all the things we don’t quite know about what’s happening behind the scene and brings something totally different to these characters instead of being a one time fodder character. Which I mean, what did I expect for Oda. The man’s a genius.

Robin is not the only person able to decipher poneglyphs, as Kozuki Sukiyaki has been revealed to still be alive. And as far as I know Kozuki family passed down poneglyph writing until Oden died.
CP0 may not have taken a note that Zoro and Sanji defeated KIng and queen respectively, that's why their bounties are lower than King and Queen, or maybe just the world govt. doesn't know.
Bounty is not as simple as that. For example, Luffy's bounty is lower than Kaido, Buggy's bounty is lower than Mihawk although marine considered him as their leader. Law and Kidd's bounty same with Luffy although they are not Yonko

What people keep forgetting about Dragon is that he is a Monkey D. If the gullibility of Luffy is anything to go by, and I've also seen similar gullibility issues in Garp as well, then they should know that the Monkey D family's gonna react to certain situations drastically. If Dragon learned info on Sabo "supposedly," killing Cobra, regardless of knowing the kind of person Sabo is, he will still react drastically. Just think about how Luffy reacted to Zoro when he beat up the entire island of Whiskey Peak. Dragon is also to a lesser extent having this kind of reaction.
5:18 - we've got a confirmation he can cancel Observation Haki, but Oda never told us to what point. I guess when someone has a similar strength and knowledge about Conqueror's and is trained/stubborn enough, Shanks can't stop anything. This would confirm how he's bested by Mihawk.
Shanks is bested by Mihawk in the terms of swordsman skill, not haki. And as we know so far, haki is the most important thing in a fight. Shanks is stated to be the best haki user.

And before you start saying "You can't be a swordsman without haki" yes, you can. Is anyone talking about how sanji's flames spread from his legs to his whole body like a logia df. Because of his emotions going crazy on the bounty reveal I think he awakened his germa powers to a whole new level even beyond his siblings. I think that particular is just for comedic relief, just like namis "conquerers" or when sanjis eyes become heart shaped, don't interpret too much into it.

People underestimate crocodile so much, because he is not the STRONGEST person. But until today he is still one of the smartest person in one piece. He understood awakenings, had an whole organisation where they didnt even knew he was the boss, is not easily betrayed and thought of the cross guild which means he knew about mihawk. For Nami to get some type of powerup in the future that is needed for battle would be huge. She had to fight enemies in the past so why not? If this happens, then we can assume that litterally every strawhat will get a significant powerup in order to make Luffy pirate king
Oda said that Ussop will always be the weakest of the crew not Nami. She has stood her ground when needed, she did so against CP9, against BMs army and against Ulti in the end so she’s not always a coward by any stretch. She’s always been able to hurt the monster trio, now we know Oda always had it as a “gag” like the fist of love but would anyone really be shocked if Oda turned a gag in to a real reason being she was unknowingly using CoC haki. I mean Jimbie isn’t the type to joke about these things and in the panel he did look genuinely shocked add to that the black lightning that Oda appeared to add coming off Nami and well ….. This could all tie in to her true parentage if Oda wanted to go that way.
It was just after dressrosa when Oda did one of his interviews if I remember right. He was asked if Usopp will now become powerful with haki and become one of Luffy commanders ( as was a theory at the time ) Oda replied that Usop will always remain the weakest in the crew as Oda sees him as the normal person of the crew giving us a view of how the audience would see and react to things.

Buggy might be actually super strong and awakened devil fruit user but is keeping his real self a mystery just like Obito in Naruto Shippuden and the one who Carabou was referring to tell the location of ancient weapon might be Buggy himself....Otherwise giving this high bounty and Emperor tag for a gag character doesnt makes sense when the story is in its final phase....Buggy sure has a insane plot twist for the finals...
Headcannon- Mihawk’s sword skill is so great he can cut through Shanks’ Conquerors attacks. If a true swordsman “Can cut nothing” why shouldn’t the greatest be able to cut haki?
Nami’s conquerors haki makes perfect sense. She’s been knocking the guys out since day one with no problem when she’s angry. Her sensitivity to the weather would make more sense too.
This chapter was hype I loved it 3 of my top 10 favorites Jimbei,Zoro and Crocodile are amazing and I'm so happy that mihawk is getting the respect he deserves he's definitely the reason this guild is a yonko crew. wether you like it or not Mihawk is the reason the bounties are high because even if you say mihawk's bounty is increased because of the guild he still has a bigger bounty without the guild than Blackbeard because there's no way mihawk got a 1 billion increase because of the guild and even if that is the case he's still higher than a Yonko without a crew. Because luffy's crew got a $300 million berrie increase in bounties just for being there practically and being on the crew and Zoro and sanji and Jimbei got a increase of 600 to 700 million berrie increase but had fights so no matter what mihawk is still over a Yonko without a crew and shanks pre yonko had a bounty over a billion and mihawk fueded with him so stop the mihawk slander.

Hey guys.. I got a theory... I was thinking why the bounty of chopper is so low even after showing off his medical expertise and his Monster point... I think it has to do something with Dr.Vegapunk.... I believe he asked the WG to reduce choppers bounty as he wished Chopper dont get any attention and consider him as just a pet. This is because of his rumble balls...We dont know how he got the formula for those... and this may posses the abilities which can affect the df powers .. Because we know he is a raindeer with human human fruit.. and he uses his rumble balls for changing his powers or upgrading it and we can think of his monster point as awakening. Both Vinsmoke Gudge and Vegapunk worked on something called Lineage factor."All lifeforms have the Lineage Factor, and by manipulating it from a young age, the growth of a lifeform can be changed. Eating a Devil Fruit affects one's Lineage Factor, which allows them to gain a supernatural power" (From One Piece wiki...pretty interesting site...). The Lineage Factor is the blueprint of life itself, present in all living organisms. It was discovered by a research team led by Dr. Vegapunk and Vinsmoke Judge. So Chopper found out about this lineage factor and he applied it to his rumble balls and upgraded his DF 🔥🔥 And for how he could accomplish such a task... I have a small theory regarding that too.. While I was checking for Chpper's wiki... I searched for Dr.Hiriluk ..and surprising enough... HE ALMOST HAVE SIMILAR BODY SHAPE AND APPEARANCE AS DR.VEGAPUNK HIMSELF.... so my theory is that while Gudge and Vegapunk was conducting expts in Cloning (they showed it in Whole cake island arc) I guess they tried to clone Vegapunk and failed in perfecting him and creted Dr Hiriluk... and also gave him a disease so that he wont survive long enough..(Or maybe he is just the brother of Vegapunk) Hiriluk weares a black coat and vegapunk a white one.. hiriluk is bad in science but vegapunk is the best...(2 sides of same coin..as Oda usaually does) I also found that Hiriluk used bombs and firing guns and pistols.. similar to vegapunk in his Pacifistas.... So chopper got info from Hiriluk in lineage factor..🤔🤔
Robin isn't the only person capable of reading the poneglyphs. Oden could read them because his father taught him--who we now know is alive, and is aiding Momonosuke in his new shogun seat. So it seems there's 3 people now: Robin, Kozuki Sukiyaki, and potentially Kozuki Momonosuke
Maybe thats why mihawk didn't want to fight shanks anymore. If was about getting stronger in swordmanship, without an arm, was an advantage that mihawk could explode and doesn't had sense anymore.

If Oda had Mihawk and Crocodile join up in his plans for as long as other big surprises, then he is a 1 in a 10 million genius, but i think this was based in the level of hype those guys have with the fan base. Either way, I’m fine with this

I’m kinda disappointed that Buggy didn’t awaken his devil fruit to be actually strong, or made a respectful team up with the former warlords, but it’s just too funny to hate and Buggy failing upwards is still one of the most fun things about one piece
as far as we know so far, to awaken the fruit you have to be really skilled and Buggy is weaker than Luffy at the beginning of One Piece. It is scrub that comes back only because Oda likes it

We’re going to see a Shanks flashback arc. It will be used to answer a lot of hanging questions and explain things that need explaining. We will see Shanks/Mihawk fights then.
To me Croco-boy was never weak or only pre-timeskip strong, I think he was always super strong but much like Enel, he was way too cocky facing Luffy and when he realised Luffy was able to touch him (using water) he just panicked and wasn't expecting it but still was dead set on defeating him without using Haki or anything. Maybe I'm just coping but there's no way Crocodile isn't a Haki user and hasn't awakened his devil fruit. Even Doffy was surprised Croco lost to Luffy and Mr 0's prestation in Marineford showed what he was really capable of. (It could also be a small mistake by Oda which of course we forgive) Anyway, I think Crocodile is Commander level right now or at least slightly below that (Maybe even stronger according to his bounty but it could very well be inflated due to his high intellect, his past and his connections all over the world.)

Plots that need to be adressed and finished: Kumas history [Sorbet Island and why he joined the revolutionaries], Lysop becoming a warrior among giants [plus meeting Loki on Elbaf], getting the last Road Poneglyph [obviously, duh], everything connected to the forgotten history [Imu, Celestial Dragons, Devil Fruits, Joy Boy, and more ], everything connected to the God Valley incident [is probably also connected to the forgotten history, but I think it is worth mentioning seperately], destruction of Fishman Island and the opening of the borders of Wano Kuni, true purpose of the Secret Agency [they obviously distrust the WG, but what more is to them? Plus Koby in action again :D], the story of Dragon and his revolution, Luffys real mother (? will it be answered? is it crucial or unnecessary? dunno, but it's still open), Blackbeard [is a story on it's own], and I think much more. This is already so much and I know I am skipping far more by just ending it here. Would be cool if some of you all would help me with that list. Corrections, missed stuff, maybe rephrasing stuff so that the list looks better :D We need a proper check-list. Even with something like Honorable Mentions (as example "Namis real parents")

An interesting though experiment that kinda dips into power scaling: We still have no idea if hawkeye is roughly as strong or as skilled as shanks, back when they dueled, sure they were pretty equal, but now? those duels were like 10 years ago, after shanks lost his arm he could've super duper trained like luffy during the timeskip, and could be leagues above mihawk. I'm not saying that's the case, I'm just saying we still know nothing about how they stack up now lol
Oda has really gotten me hyped for the new act can't wait to see what happens next. Seems next Chapter we'll find out exactly what happened at Levely, I'd imagine Sabo now has a bounty over a billion. Hopefully we'll also find out what's become of Hancock and Weevil. Admittedly I would've liked Zoro, Nami and Chopper to have gotten new epithets along with their bounties. Maybe something like "Devil of The Blade" Zoro, "Weather Witch" Nami and "Monster Tanuki" Chopper.

I think my favorite thing about Cross Guild is that at no point was it ever mentioned that Buggy borrowed money from Crocodile and didnt pay him back yet, the second that was brought up I just felt like, "yeah... that's something Buggy would do" It's such a simple, believable, and funny way to get those characters together.

I find the arc of Mihawk’s mood the fascinating, it is obvious that his pride was bruised by being seen as an underling of the Buffoon Buggy, but his realization that he really never wanted titles and fame, and just wanted to be left alone, came just in time to save Buggy’s hide from being tanned by Crocodile.
I am a kinda surprised that Oda didn't show us world's reaction about the Crew's bounties because Every times he showed us. I wonder he will show it or not in the upcoming chapters. But to be honest, those screen times brought back lot of memories. So I still want to see it.

This shows how buggy became a warlord. Buggy used Crocodiles money to build his company. Buggy did not have the strength to be a warlord on his own and emphasizes that buggy isnt at all strong.
In Combat maybe, but you could also argue that buggys power is equal to Luffy. Remember, Mihawk called Luffys power to rally people to his side the most terrifying ability. Now look at Buggy, look at how he started in Orange town and what sort of names he involves himself with currently. He is basically the flipside to the coin. I mean before everything got powercrept with Haki and what not, Bara Bara no mi and Gomu Gomu no mi both protected against the others weakness, Buggy being immune to being cut, Luffy being immune to being shot. Both Buggy and Luffy are highly dependant on the people around them, with luffy simply admitting it (Arlong) and Buggy always thinking it. And then there is the whole Joyboy thing, making people smile etc etc, Buggy is a damn Clown. I mean of course all of that is theorie, but like.. that is way to obvious. I expect the Bara Bara no mi awaken into the counterpart to Nika.

Mihawk is an automatic Yonko but he don't want to becuase he wants to live peacefully. Being on par with Shanks says it all. We could say that Shanks is stronger due to his Haki but we only saw Mihawk testing his power against WB and thats it we dont know what Mihawk is really capable of, Mihawk can also have a Conqueror's Haki and might also bypass Shanks ability to negate Observation Haki. He is the strongest swordsman for a reason and dont want to face Shanks again due to losing his arm. Mihawk is one of the under rated Pirate in One Piece story.

He doesnt have a fleet too and the reason why Buggy became an emperor because of Mihawk, croc and his fleet plus being a former roger pirate but if you put croc as the head i believe that he will not be an emperor its either buggy or mihawk.

I always think that oda make chopper bounty low so when he retired from piracy he'll can cure people without someone hunting him down. It would be fitting with his dream as the best doctor who can cure all diseases. It'll be dificult to cure all diseases if anyone at anytime hunting his head.

As much as I was looking forward to the bounties, and as hyped as I was to see how Cross Guild was formed, for me the statement about Nami and Conqueror’s Haki is the biggest thing from the chapter. Yes, it maybe a throwaway line; but, it goes a long way to explaining a few things about Nami. Putting aside the Conqueror’s Haki itself; everyone who has had it has also had the other two kinds of Haki. Nami’s heightened ability to detect weather could be via observation Haki. More importantly, Nami’s ability to hurt Luffy in much the same way a Garp was able to hurt Luffy could be Armament Haki. Definitely something to watch going forward.

Zoro: World’s Greatest Swordsman
Nami: World’s number one Navigator/Cartographer? What better way to ‘Conquer’ the Grand Line than to map it out.

I just had a few thoughts about Kuma and his devil fruit powers while rereading the end. Is he still technically alive? At what point would he lose his abilities and have his powers rejoin the pool? How much of a cyborg is he? Would the concept of inherited will just imply that the theoretical-full-robot Kuma would simply maintain the paw-paw fruit powers?
We know you can put/transfer devil fruit powers to objects… and if he's 100% cyborg that would still be possible and make sense in the context of the story.

Bounty is not as simple as that. For example, Luffy's bounty is lower than Kaido, Buggy's bounty is lower than Mihawk although marine considered him as their leader. Law and Kidd's bounty same with Luffy although they are not Yonko

If Dragon learned info on Sabo "supposedly," killing Cobra, regardless of knowing the kind of person Sabo is, he will still react drastically. Just think about how Luffy reacted to Zoro when he beat up the entire island of Whiskey Peak. Dragon is also to a lesser extent having this kind of reaction.

Shanks is bested by Mihawk in the terms of swordsman skill, not haki. And as we know so far, haki is the most important thing in a fight. Shanks is stated to be the best haki user.

It was just after dressrosa when Oda did one of his interviews if I remember right. He was asked if Usopp will now become powerful with haki and become one of Luffy commanders ( as was a theory at the time ) Oda replied that Usop will always remain the weakest in the crew as Oda sees him as the normal person of the crew giving us a view of how the audience would see and react to things.

Hey guys.. I got a theory... I was thinking why the bounty of chopper is so low even after showing off his medical expertise and his Monster point... I think it has to do something with Dr.Vegapunk.... I believe he asked the WG to reduce choppers bounty as he wished Chopper dont get any attention and consider him as just a pet. This is because of his rumble balls...We dont know how he got the formula for those... and this may posses the abilities which can affect the df powers .. Because we know he is a raindeer with human human fruit.. and he uses his rumble balls for changing his powers or upgrading it and we can think of his monster point as awakening. Both Vinsmoke Gudge and Vegapunk worked on something called Lineage factor."All lifeforms have the Lineage Factor, and by manipulating it from a young age, the growth of a lifeform can be changed. Eating a Devil Fruit affects one's Lineage Factor, which allows them to gain a supernatural power" (From One Piece wiki...pretty interesting site...). The Lineage Factor is the blueprint of life itself, present in all living organisms. It was discovered by a research team led by Dr. Vegapunk and Vinsmoke Judge. So Chopper found out about this lineage factor and he applied it to his rumble balls and upgraded his DF 🔥🔥 And for how he could accomplish such a task... I have a small theory regarding that too..
While I was checking for Chpper's wiki... I searched for Dr.Hiriluk ..and surprising enough... HE ALMOST HAVE SIMILAR BODY SHAPE AND APPEARANCE AS DR.VEGAPUNK HIMSELF.... so my theory is that while Gudge and Vegapunk was conducting expts in Cloning (they showed it in Whole cake island arc) I guess they tried to clone Vegapunk and failed in perfecting him and creted Dr Hiriluk... and also gave him a disease so that he wont survive long enough..(Or maybe he is just the brother of Vegapunk) Hiriluk weares a black coat and vegapunk a white one.. hiriluk is bad in science but vegapunk is the best...(2 sides of same coin..as Oda usaually does) I also found that Hiriluk used bombs and firing guns and pistols.. similar to vegapunk in his Pacifistas.... So chopper got info from Hiriluk in lineage factor..🤔🤔

We’re going to see a Shanks flashback arc. It will be used to answer a lot of hanging questions and explain things that need explaining. We will see Shanks/Mihawk fights then.
To me Croco-boy was never weak or only pre-timeskip strong, I think he was always super strong but much like Enel, he was way too cocky facing Luffy and when he realised Luffy was able to touch him (using water) he just panicked and wasn't expecting it but still was dead set on defeating him without using Haki or anything. Maybe I'm just coping but there's no way Crocodile isn't a Haki user and hasn't awakened his devil fruit. Even Doffy was surprised Croco lost to Luffy and Mr 0's prestation in Marineford showed what he was really capable of. (It could also be a small mistake by Oda which of course we forgive)
Anyway, I think Crocodile is Commander level right now or at least slightly below that (Maybe even stronger according to his bounty but it could very well be inflated due to his high intellect, his past and his connections all over the world.)

Oda has really gotten me hyped for the new act can't wait to see what happens next. Seems next Chapter we'll find out exactly what happened at Levely, I'd imagine Sabo now has a bounty over a billion. Hopefully we'll also find out what's become of Hancock and Weevil.
Admittedly I would've liked Zoro, Nami and Chopper to have gotten new epithets along with their bounties.

I hate the “Mihawk is just the more skilled swordsman” argument. What does this even mean in the one piece world? If anything, being a skilled swordsman in one piece would probably mean being able to use incredibly strong named attacks, which would also mean that if Mihawk is the more skilled of the two, he’s able to use the more powerful attacks.
