We are several users from the first pedalboard that have asked for this kind of update with no result. So no, they are not really listening to their costumers. Atleast not the original userbase of costumers that owns the OG headrush.
It's a *web* interface. Legacy units don't have WiFi and I'm willing to bet they don't have the right USB-B spec to allow running a web-server over USB either (because why would they?).
the browser editor convinced me to get the prime, even when it's discontinued, there is no risk of loosing the editor app or having it no longer supported by the os

Just got mine yesterday and haven't even fired it up yet. I have the NUX MG30 and it was just so so for me. I'm trying to go straight into powered pa speaker to get an amazing clean and build from that.

I own the pedalboard and on their website it’s classified as legacy, same as MX5. Don’t expect they do anything for it. I’m trying to sell mine with a huge loss.

What sucks is I don't even need the extra features for another $180 CAD but I obviously do need it to be supported with firmware updates etc. Also been seeing a lot of comments on other threads that support has been lacking on the MX5 as is. Great option, unfortunately it doesn't work in my case. I would also prefer applications via Bluetooth. When connecting to the same network I get the error "dns probe finished"

Es incomprensible que un producto de esta categoría y PRECIO, no tenga un web editor y obliguéis al usuario a compara el último modelo para poder optar por la opción de web editor….bravo….la tengo puesta en Wallapop, la venderé y me compraré por ejemplo una Neural Cortex, que…hoooo…sí que tiene un programa para gestionar los Rigs. Headrush=Peseteros(expresión española que significa usureros)
It would be nice, for legacy devices (ie mx5) to be able to edit patches on PC, then copy them to the legacy devices via USB at least. Not as good as editing them on the device remotely, but at least we could use a large screen to edit, then simply copy the patch via USB the way we copy patches now. I doubt HR would take the time though. They want NEW customers, don't care about old customers.
I have to say that they want to push new products on everyone in the name of new features when it can easily be done on the old products as well via the same cable we use to upload rigs I’m still keeping my MX5 but won’t buy another Headrush product If I buy another product, it will be a Kemper or Helix, they still support their products and they’re well over 5 years old, the Helix is 10 years old, the MX5 isn’t over 3
I just recently bought MX5. Now I want to sell it and buy Headrush Core or Prime. I'm not gonna expect MX5 will get an update with a feature like this, coz I know they will not do it.
This is a GREAT start. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make it usable via usb and not just WiFi. My PC is hardwired via Ethernet for work and cannot use WiFi. Also. When the headrush core is connected to WiFi there can be choppy beep noises when playing. So please make it work through usb PLEASE
... Connecting to WiFi and going to a URL on your tablet/phone/laptop is literally less faff than installing an app and having to deal with Bluetooth for anything.
Poor form Headrush. Original Pedalboard owners have been advocating for a PC editor for years. USB version would not have been difficult to offer to keep faith with the existing customer base. See ya, W⚓'s

It's instant! Since it's a web editor you're connected directly to the pedal so the changes happen in realtime.

Headrush Cloud - is it accesible directly through the editor ?
This is really good, it might be turned into an app if it is written with Javascript.

Does the editor only work on the flex prime?

You can set up a hotspot on your PC and connect that way.
