  • For nearly three years, there was a ban on gas connections. Recently, the government has lifted the ban but only for RLNG connections. In the past, there was only one type of gas available, but now there's another option called RLNG gas, which is quite costly.
There's confusion about who qualifies for Sui gas and who will be provided with RLNG gas. People are unsure if getting an RLNG connection is worthwhile. In today's video, that's what we will address.

    One correction:
RLNG means regassified liquefied natural gas, while LPG means Liquefied Petroleum Gas, both are different in a way that the basic molecules in Natural Gas (so called Sui gas in Pakistan, and the RLNG are same and have Methane as primary fuel) the RLNG is transported in vessels under high pressure so that the gas is liquified)
Where as the principal molecule in LPG is Propane) and its stored under mild pressure.
Interestingly the RLNG after its offloading at Karach and other ports is again regasified and pumped in to normal Natual gas pipeline, but the most interesting part is that while being pumped in the same gas pipeline the new consumes are charged almost 10 times above normal Sui gas price. There is no separate pipeline for both the gases in Pakistan😊

Very informative and clearly highlights the main points. However, in my opinion, not everyone may agree with the idea that everyone should know their affordability and manage their expenses accordingly. It's important to recognize that external factors, such as national and international effects on our economy, can impact individuals' financial situations.

Definitely, sir! Majority of factors are unfortunately not in our control.

There is no shortage of sui gas with respect to domestic users. Main use of sui gas is its industrial use. So i suggest that its industrial uses be stoped and industry be shiftted on solar system. Sui gas be allowed only for domestic use to bring ease in the life of common man.

I guess the priority of government is to provide Gas to industry, so business can be generated more jobs can be created because that’s very important for the economy of the country. Gas in Pakistan is provided at subsidised rates to the Industry so they can compete internationally. a lot of business has already been shifted to other countries because of unfriendly policies and environment of Pakistan so it’s a very very difficult decision whether to prioritise the industry or the domestic consumers. let’s hope and pray that things work out.
