out of almost 140 crore people only 8 cr people pays income taxes report 2019-20......in short how to get some money from people who doesnt pays tax ...put taxes on essentials ...and higher on petrol cause it binds everyone
and i doubt only 8 crore people in our county are capable its common sense 30 to 40% of people are skipping taxes through there ca's and... all hidings income etc and even that 8cr people money half gets lost in corruptions and only 4% is being used to run the country and our gdp is about 3 trillion ...just imagine if more people pays taxes we can easily rivals likes of china and usa in terms of gdp ....higher gdp means higher global reach higher military spending both results in higher soft and hard power...its about time we people of india should own our faults too yep cause govt is also consist of people of india yes govt has corruptions but that doesnt take away our role as a citizens to work toward the better ment if we cant we dont have anyright to criticise govt cause govt and people both doing same ...looking after themselves

low price will never ever be transferred by the Indian government in the hands of the consumer. In India, the prices of petrol/diesel always increases. Even if the global prices fall, the Indian government refuses to pass on the benefits to the consumer and enhances its revenue to reduce its fiscal deficit.😑

It's high time automobile companies like bajaj, hero, tata, Mahindra should start manufacturing e-vehicles and e-scooters rapidly. That's the only way we can tackle the fuel price inflation. The demand of petrol will go down then and hopefully prices will reduce as well.

During upa govt excise duty tax on petrol was just 9.50 Rs per liter,on diesel excise duty was just 3.50 Rs per liter
After modi became PM excise duty tax on petrol was increased to 32.70 Rs per liter
Excise duty on diesel was increased to 31.70 Rs per liter, this shows that he is biased

@@cosmosapien597 Sri Lanka and Pakistan's situation is much different from India. Don't assume that the things which are applicable to other people/countries will necessarily be applicable to us too. Also, the amount of tax Indian government has levied is far greater than other countries, more than half the price we pay goes in tax. Why do they need so much tax on oil ? They give reason of oil bonds but we all know that they are purposely stalling the oil bonds payment because the want to retain that excuse. The oil bonds can be replayed quite easily, but they are not doing that.

Even if petrol is included in gst, government will make sure we won't get any input credit won't be passed. So it won't make any difference in price and cascading impact will continue to exist.
It was about to include in GST by FM it would be coated just 60-65 / l but opposition as always they opposed and they did it shouldn't be included... But don't worry soon it will included in GST as war ends everything comes normal by the way as prices increased salary also increased

Well I don't think UCC is wrong, our constitution itself says us to implement UCC in the future further more in 2005 supreme court Itself had ordered central government to implement it. So I guess it's not wrong having equal rights is good for all especially for ladies.
Well about CAA & NRC I won't say anything cause I want to be neutral but since Supreme court had approved it then I don't think anyone should have problem with that.

correct we are paying more than 60% taxes directly or indirectly ... if we compare to European countries, max tax is 42% and they provide all facility like free health and education but what we are getting in India after even paying so much taxes. Second thing, this govt has earned more than oil bonds...they have made excuses only
