I want to start a public (and eventually monetized) blog because I was blogging in private (more like journaling) for emotions/ reflection in life on and off for the past 10 years. The recent lockdown makes me feel less secure about just depending on a 9-5, and I find my personality finally stable down to go public. For the past 2 years, I am an amateur athlete, a junior data scientist, and recent months getting more committed into spiritual growth. I want to influence and make people love themselves better than yesterday, and let the blog be a constant indicator for self-reflection.
I’m restarting my blog for victims of sexual abuse. Starting it to continue my journey of healing and help others. What’s holding me back is fear....fear of it not being accepted or too heavy and fear of running out of content
Thank you. This just confirms for me to start a twitter or instagram for my blog especially because I believe so strongly in it! I started my youtube and blog as outlet for my creativity. Lady, I have to hand it to you. This is the most real, "down n dirty", how-to diy blogging video I've seen. You're amazing. Thank you! You just lit a fire in my heart to actually take the leap. Others have been telling me, for years, that I should start a blog because I experience the world do differently than most others. I don't see it but, I do know that I'm passionate about one thing that, strangely enough touches everything else. My thing is that so many people will hate me, not understand what I'm saying, and use my alleged past against. It looks pretty bad, most of it...never mind. I guess, that's one of those things you can't worry about when you take that step: fear.Just do it. Right? Do you mentor? Is that even a thing in the blogging world? At any rate, just from this video, you may have been the inspiration to finally ditch the manual labor work that I've been relegated to all my life because I'm big, super strong and stupidly healthy and can work like a machine and my life has unfolded in such a strange way that, well, in my 20's a quantum physisist said: "I'd kill to have your education." I have no collage or university time. I mean, even the highschool I graduated from disappeared so, officially, I don't even have a diploma...but I do have 2 or 3 GED's (another strange story...). I'm just tired of killing myself for employers who don't care and winding up unemployed and, several times homeless, because of forces beyond my control. Getting too old for that crap. So, again, thank you. And remember my name. If you start hearing it, you can know that you really started the ball rolling. But one warning....I seem to be some kind of catalyst. Where ever I am, things change. Which is weird because I've always been quiet, tried to stay invisible, yet still, where ever I find myself...it's not always pleasant. So... thank you. Ibelieve you just changed my life and, perhaps, in a small way, the world as well.

What is holding me back in procrastination in getting the creative aspect of the blog in place. Skincare/selfcare I studied to become an esthetician but, what drive me the most is to inform people about skin. Great advice Nakisha! I like what you said "use what you got". So many people procrastinate on getting started blogging due to their own insecurities. But if they just use what they have to get started as best they can, and then improve as they go, then they will be ahead of many people out there. And oftentimes people don't even care about or notice the shortcomings that a person is allowing to slow them down. Motion breeds Motion - Getting started is the Key!
Wow, u are such a good tutor, well am working on starting a blog on how to help people to advance in their spiritual life. Cause I discovered alot of people are been scammed by some prophets and alfas with some spiritual things they can actually do by themselves. I am a recent nursing graduate and recently passed my NCLEX board exam. I am officially an RN and just landed my first position as an ER/trauma RN. Lots of firsts. lol. I would like to start a blog encompassing healthcare, health tips and awareness. Super motivational. I'm going to start blogging so that I can give my family a better life, and one day give others a better life too. When I first got the inspiration to blog I wanted it to be an advice page for relationships and gift ideas, things like that! Me and my boyfriend have been in a LDR for a year and five months now, we haven't seen each other since 2019! Then I thought, well heck I was born & raised here on Maui for generations, we have tons of tourists wanting to come back to the islands, why not do a travel blog? A place where they can go to find the inside scoops of Hawai'i, best places to eat, places to stay, activities, etc. All from a LOCAL standpoint. Wondering if you think this would be a good idea? I've been doing a lot of research on blogging and watching other bloggers. Its going to sound wierd, but I want to start a blog for my short horror stories I write. Of course I'll add more content involving horror and such. The only thing stopping me is I just dont feel as informed as I should be in starting and keeping a blog. Also it takes a while for me to jump into something anyways aha (I love being very informed before I go into anything) I have a small platform on Instagram, Twitter, and a couple other social media accounts so im already doing ok there until im ready!

Hi i loved the "real" video on how to get started. i want to start a blog. i just didnt know how to get started. thats why i havnt started. nothing holding me back but just know the steps to get started. I want to blog/vlog about home schooling techniques and cost/budget effective ways to home school or just have children who are unable to attend school if viewers feel they are low income or in a similar situation. children can follow along with videos and outings as well as print out worksheets we used for certain days lessons. Link to free or cheap places in the North Florida and Coastal Georgia area to take kids on field trips or outings.
I’ve been wanting to start blogging, but I’m having trouble figuring out what I want to blog about. I’m behind on trends, I generally try to refrain from giving people advice because most people don’t listen, and I’m all thumbs when it comes to crafts. One step in the right direction is that I DO own an iPhone lol.

I want to know where to start blogging about a subject people don't like or many don't know; raising awareness of life with a narcissistic mother and the impact on the family. The not being believed, realizing all my life she talked behind my back and my dad's and basically distorted truth. It took me years to realize that and I'm almost 40 and alone. I saw the manipulation and desensitizing tactics used and extreme cruelty on my dad and us while living in isolated areas and all relatives cut off due to her sabotage behind our backs. It goes on but the lives impacted by this and now that I can piece everything together now imagine not being believed when trying to come forward. I was labeled as crazy or I need meds and my life got nearly screwed over as an adult numerous times from situations she was behind and I did and do the no contact yet the hatred and intent is relentless even law enforcement has been manipulated so no one takes me seriously. Men can be very much victims too and I saw my dad nearly lifeless at times as my mom had ways to use pain to control and dehumanize, emotional deep cruel pain. Words are weapons. Compassion fatigue and survival guilt is real. Little to no support for those of us who grew up with this. I'm finishing up my story first in a word doc as so many flashbacks haunted me so I want to use my pain to help others who are also invalidated.
I want to become a blogger so I can make money and be in a position of not having to trade time for money. My only dilemma is I already have a platform however I would like to reach out to ppl without them knowing me or seeing the face and name behind the blog.

My motto around here is “start by starting” your clarity will come through action. A “mentor” will be much more beneficial once you’ve done that.

I am a recent nursing graduate and recently passed my NCLEX board exam. I am officially an RN and just landed my first position as an ER/trauma RN. Lots of firsts. lol. Super motivational. I'm going to start blogging so that I can give my family a better life, and one day give others a better life too. When I first got the inspiration to blog I wanted it to be an advice page for relationships and gift ideas, things like that! Me and my boyfriend have been in a LDR for a year and five months now, we haven't seen each other since 2019! Then I thought, well heck I was born & raised here on Maui for generations, we have tons of tourists wanting to come back to the islands, why not do a travel blog? A place where they can go to find the inside scoops of Hawai'i, best places to eat, places to stay, activities, etc. All from a LOCAL standpoint. Wondering if you think this would be a good idea? I've been doing a lot of research on blogging and watching other bloggers. Its going to sound wierd, but I want to start a blog for my short horror stories I write. Of course I'll add more content involving horror and such. The only thing stopping me is I just dont feel as informed as I should be in starting and keeping a blog. Also it takes a while for me to jump into something anyways aha

Hi i loved the "real" video on how to get started. i want to start a blog. i just didnt know how to get started. thats why i havnt started. nothing holding me back but just know the steps to get started. I want to blog/vlog about home schooling techniques and cost/budget effective ways to home school or just have children who are unable to attend school if viewers feel they are low income or in a similar situation. children can follow along with videos and outings as well as print out worksheets we used for certain days lessons.

I want to know where to start blogging about a subject people don't like or many don't know; raising awareness of life with a narcissistic mother and the impact on the family. The not being believed, realizing all my life she talked behind my back and my dad's and basically distorted truth. It took me years to realize that and I'm almost 40 and alone. I saw the manipulation and desensitizing tactics used and extreme cruelty on my dad and us while living in isolated areas and all relatives cut off due to her sabotage behind our backs. It goes on but the lives impacted by this and now that I can piece everything together now imagine not being believed when trying to come forward. I was labeled as crazy or I need meds and my life got nearly screwed over as an adult numerous times from situations she was behind and I did and do the no contact yet the hatred and intent is relentless even law enforcement has been manipulated so no one takes me seriously. Men can be very much victims too and I saw my dad nearly lifeless at times as my mom had ways to use pain to control and dehumanize, emotional deep cruel pain. Words are weapons. Compassion fatigue and survival guilt is real. Little to no support for those of us who grew up with this. I'm finishing up my story first in a word doc as so many flashbacks haunted me so I want to use my pain to help others who are also invalidated.
I want to become a blogger so I can make money and be in a position of not having to trade time for money. My only dilemma is I already have a platform however I would like to reach out to ppl without them knowing me or seeing the face and name behind the blog.
Then start a blog without using your name or face. That’s possible.
