I love how this was originally going to be a pacifist run with culture bombs, but then he power leveled out of it and discovered unlimited horsey boys.
In my first playthrough of humankind opendev I was originally a society with a minimal army doctrine.... until the Celts invaded.... then I quickly raised a powerful army, took his army and wiped his civ from existence, then we started vassalizing(making a puppet country) or conquering every one of our allies and neighbors(who totally betrayed me by the way) and began to militarily and economically dominate for the rest of the game! You know, its always that one civ in a game that pushes you over. Just one bad turn to reduce a peaceful civ to warmongering
The joy in Spiff's voice when he says "it's like I've discovered Christmas again, except the presents are murder!" Full of childlike wonder, truly inspiring, better than Miracle on 34th Street!

I like how Spiff sounds acutally so defeated, disappointed, and sad, that he finally achieved world domination, had all the money, all the science, everyone was a vasal of his. He literally achieved everything he could ever wanted in a game, and it made him sound so sad and defeated.
This game looks great. I love how the avatars adopt the clothing for the time period and culture you chose I wished they did that in Civ through a mod or a feature. I always wanted to see George Washington wrapped in rags in the ancient era to him being a cyborg in the Future era.

A: I will admit to being morbidly interested in a Cyberpunk Fortify Restoration loop. The fact it crashes the game isn't surprising, but I wasn't aware of items that allowed one to stack modifiers ala Skyrim.
I know that Spiff is a man of culture, refined tastes in tea, masterful strategist, however I did not know he exceeded pop culture mastery with the reference of Breakin' 2 - Electric Boogaloo. Consider me now a vassal lol!

I was winning through pacifism in my last playthrough, then i got bored in the later game and just built up a massive army and qonquered whatever was left, too bad on peacing out the war I don't get to keep it all. But there was no cultures or religions left at the end of the game besides mine. and the enemies were just a few cities.
I'm amazed Spiff hasn't figured out how broken the Byzantines + Dutch are yet. Hopefully he too will one day be making 40 - 100 k a turn with this perfectly balanced experience!

Love all the art in this game, I find myself constantly pausing to look closer.
Spore without evolving sounds epic, especially as I just did it, and I recommend going social at the beginning of creature stage.
