One of my biggest gripes is they just don't allow us to use limit breaks enough. You can go through chapter after chapter without building enough limit actually use it
You must be way too good at the game. Limit break builds as you fight - if you end your fights instantly with firaga + magnify every fight, you'll only ever be able to build limit breaks when facing bosses. And even that is sometimes hard if you use an optimal strategy and exploit their weaknesses - there just isn't enough time. When I watche first time players go through the game, they use PLENTY of limit breaks. Literally, every other fight somebody uses it. And that's because their fights drag and drag. Because they don't know the game very well and are using most of their ATBs on meaningless wasteful stuff. And that's exactly how LIMIT builds. In other words - this is how it is designed to be. Pro players can finish off their opponents with a handful of ATBs and some parrying and they never actually need limit breaks. Noob players struggle through the game, so limit breaks are there for them to sweeten the experience.

The part when tifa make cyclone kinda dumb for me, it's not fit the martial arts of her. But it's only from my personal Love it when she does flip kick so flashy with flying particle
@@BltzZ I also would like a big ol' boss rush. Especially if you don't want to go through the story to get to it. And be able to choose your party and even the number of members. I'd even be okay with making the simulators and coliseums with more matches. It worked very well for Kingdom Hearts (especially KH2). It can work well here until that next game comes out. And have rewards that will carry over for completing them.
FFVIIR Tifa is probably the most technical RPG character to use. Not just by playstyle, it also reflects on her builds. As a fighting game player, I am truly thankful to SE for combining FG elements to this RPG character. And also ofc, thanks to you I'm still enjoying many, many builds and playstyles on FFVIIR even after I got the platinum. I will stick by this channel until the remake project is over. I hope you still make videos by then and I'm still alive lol.

Purple pain is one of my favorites to use on tifa, although during hard mode running around(where I'm at currently) I've been stuck using metal knuckles or mythril claws. But in Colosseum and vr, people pain/ feathered gloves is my go to
It's so awesome how everyday I realize how versatile builds are for characters. I love just the amount of effort they really put into this I cannot wait to see what else we have in store for remake 2!
@@BltzZ I'm kind of envisioning his playstyle to feel like punisher cloud, but with normal dodges, and attacks might ground aerial enemies (or certain abilities) and his gauge builds up like barret's and has multiple levels like Tifa's for enhanced jumps (super/etc.) And the majority of his weapon abilities could be explosives or other technological wonderies (aerial bombardments)

Tifa with refocus is just ridiculous. On my hard run on the whispers fight i used her limit break 5 times. 5 times in "one" fight. That was absolutely insane.
5 times!!! Broo that is insane! I can totally see that happening. I noticed I can get LB almost 2 times per fight haha. Tifa is amazing. Refocused combined is just awesome
%100 completion but this game is surprisingly addicting even after finishing. 90 hours invested and I still don't think it's enough. Dying for the next two years to blow by so we can get our hands on ps5 and part 2 of this remake.

Yup most definitely! I did the character advanced guides covering all weapons and abilities paired with Materia. But these unique builds are definitely going to be a focus from here on out!
Hey BlitzZ, I got an awesome balanced Tifa build that I think you’d enjoy making a video for! For the weapon, I use Feathered Gloves since it provides excellent ATB generating buffs, speed, balanced physical and magical attributes and great defense buffs. For the accessory I put a gotterdammerung with refocus materia to give Tifa 3 ATB bars. As for materia, I also added a Magic Up and any of the fire/ice/wind/thunder materia that the enemy is weak to. You can also add any support like first strike and ATB stagger materia for support. I found that Tifa’s magic attacks hit for ludicrous amounts of damage if they’re followed up immediately after using starshower. Starshower will always buff Tifa’s next command by 60% to 70% in my experience, and with this build my Tifa has a base magic stat of 310. This means that when using starshower to buff her magic attacks, she has the potential to have her magic spells hit with the force of someone who has a magic attack attribute of 496 to 528! That’s practically the highest magic stat out of anyone in this game, and this is just with one Magic Up materia + Feathered Gloves! This is basically why I think she has the most combat potential out of any party member in this game because you can use her insane DPS combos to wear down the enemy while also blasting her opponents with magic spells - all with one build! Tifa practically has unlimited potential in any role you put her in; monk class for insane DPS capability, mage class for ludicrous magic blasts, tank for her incredible evasiveness and defense...she can do it all! The best thing is she can fill all those roles in combat at the same time. The trick to using the starshower buff is to charge her ATB to 2 bars (made easier with the refocus materia) and perform starshower; then WHILE she’s in the middle of the starshower attack, select the magic spell in the menu and she’ll immediately cast it instantly after she finishes up her starshower. I’ve used firaga against the Soldier Candidates mission in the Shinra Combat Simulator and she’ll hit literally anywhere between 7000 to 9999 against the Sahagin Prince. Hope you’ll make a video to demo this idea! Think you’ll enjoy doing it too!

@BltzZ, we are in dire need of a patch for FF7R. But S-E is silent. FF7R has very easy but also fun plat Trophie, problem is that after 100h in game there is nothing else to do, only repeating Boss battles just to try out bulids or mess around.
That's what happens with single player games, once you 100% them they are over. Og They could release updates or even, being hopeful, free dlc. I'd much rather have them focus on part 2 than waste time and resources on a finished project.
Either that or they could contract a smaller team or studio to work on the online similar to what call of duty games do. Just a small thing of hope but they have a fire game on their hands for sure! It would be awesome to see more content somewhat or even skins

I havent even attempted hard mode yet actually. You can unlock all of this after beating the game on normal and just going to chapter 17 to finish the challenges
im so happy someone do a crit build, i rarely see people use purple pain for tifa, the skill tree for it is really good, i love crit build too,.. and nice trick with wind materia, aero is my under utilized magic in any ff,,, well the orig ff7 doesnt have aero magic, some enemy have that magic,, raps boss in wutai have aero2 iirc.
My favorite loadout for tifa is: Purple pain, force bracelet, transference module With the following materia: 2xluck up, 2xhp up, prayer, deadly dodge, atb stagger, atb assist, refocus(stats only), revival Summon is typically ifrit for the higher atk stat, but chocomog is also good for the luck boost. I spend time as her just triggering atb bars for everyone else and laying down the crits. I find it fun, if not a bit bland.
Purple Pain is my go-to choice for Tifa, simply because of the crit factor; I already have Cloud with Hardedge for raw physical damage, so I like to switch it up with crit-based Tifa. One thing I do with Tifa is give her Prayer; yeah not Chakra, Prayer. She just builds ATB so quickly that I have little trouble getting her up to 2 bars, so I figured might as well have her heal the whole party as well. Then again I do things like give her Time and ATB Stagger too, so. I know you really like Deadly Dodge on Tifa (I mean, who doesn't love her Tatsumaki Senpukyaku?), but have you tried Parry with her? Her variant of Parry is the fastest among the four, and lets her dodge things that's usually impossible to avoid otherwise such as Bahamut's Umbral Strikes.
Parry and deadly dodge are my favorite hands down on tifa. I couldn't fit it in this build unless i removed MP up like i mentioned but I always usually have parry on tifa. I just feel like it was made specifically for her! She has the least amount of defensive capabilities so parrying around the map is perfect for her to get in and out
Also, agreed with the battle system; just can't put it down. Honestly I'll be content if Square Enix patches in some sort of boss rush mode just so we can play around with it without having to retrace our steps through every chapter. I mean, the VR simulation excuse is RIGHT THERE. Such a waste, not making use of it to include a boss rush mode. :(
This was one of two weapons I missed on my first playthrough! The second one was Barret's from the very same chapter because I didn't have enough money.
I don't have Gotterdamerung, but I did drop Transferrence on her as soon as I got it, and mained Tifa as often as possible the rest of the game. Since she's constantly building and burning ATP to do things, she builds limit crazy fast.

I'm really interested in seeing how the current materia combinations will fare in part 2 of the game. Will they introduce more materia? Will new gear have more materia slots or will we have to complete certain quest to gain access to more slots. The Original had/has (still playing it) a great materia combination list and I'd love to see more of that in this one. Keep putting out these great videos man.

I think we can also see certain purple materia being slotted to characters as abilities to their kit. Like deadly dodge and parry etc for tifa. I'd imagine they do this to free up more combinations too

It's almost like you have the plans available for my builds =0 haha Thanks man im glad you enjoyed this! I actually am simultaneously working on a barret build and a cloud build but unsure of what to release first haha. A raw damage aerith build is in the works then a crit build for her as well
l keep her with Feathered Gloves and ATB Assist materia for the other two party members. l play very aggressive, so the extra ATB she provides while still brutalizing everything is much welcomed. But to be honest, l didn´t care much for ATB Assist until Chapter 6 on my Hard Mode playthrough, made me realize l didn´t make the best out of the stagger window with Cloud and Barret/Aerith. Since l was burning and rebuilding ATB with Tifa like crazy, decided to try out the materia and it was a huge boost, now everyone had at least one ATB when entering on stagger phase and started to save extra seconds per boss fight. My only complaint is that it doesn´t seem to provide the bonus if you dodge cancel any of her skills, you can attack between them for a moment, but dodging is a no go...At first l thought it was fair given how easily it is to transition from Focused Strike to itself or to another skill after a Deadly Dodge...But then l realized it was basically the same time spent if you allow her to finish the animation and attack once or twice before doing the next skill...So now l don´t understand why it doesn´t apply the bonus if you dodge cancel. Maybe it is because the timer starts at the end of the skill´s animation? And dodge cancelling never gets to trigger it because the animation doesn´t play entirely.
Timer starting at the end of the skills animation sounds correct to me i think thats what it is. Yeah i wish that wasnt the case myself ATB assist is definitely best on tifa and a always use option for me if I can fit it in haha its usually almost always in my build. And i love using the feathered gloves too! For me its the feathered gloves > Metal Knuckles > Purple Pain
I remember Maximiliandood saying Aerith's attacks looked like Cirque De Soleil, but the more I watch Tifa string combos together, she's the one that looks more like an acrobat.

Didn't use the purple pain much though but you're making it easy if i ever gonna use it and my favourite gloves would be feather gloves but now i am using leather gloves.
I have been using a similar build to this since my first playthrough when i got her weapon in normal. Not using Gotter/Refocus because I haven’t done the boss rush, just haven’t got around to it. I have chain bangle on her instead because of how frail she is.
Awesome! Gotterdammerung sort of breaks the game but I like having it for refocus. The limit break builds back so fast with it regardless tho. It's ridiculous!
Wow! This shows how much hidden content in the game, and we only had 20-25% of FF7. A question though, is it effective against Rude and Reno boss fight only? I would love to see a video of that fight using this build.

You missed Purple Pain first time through? I missed EKG Cannon first time through! This build is beautiful. I recently tried experimenting with a general build that exploits HP Absorb + Deadly Dodge while using Parry, only to find out it doesn't work. I think enjoying the Aero tricks you just made us aware of will help me cope with my failure. Oh, and my favorite Tifa weapon is her fists. ;p

Don't care about trophies or getting all the dresses, but I was on my 4th playthough/second playthrough of hard when I was finally burnt out. A week later I already feel like playing it again, I think so a solo challenge would be fun, having my teammates wear the frog rings. What would be the ideal solo set up for Tifa?
Solo setups would be awesome with the frog rings for sure! Best setup for tifa would be refocus with gotterrdammerung and metal knuckles. Purple materia mostly for like deadly dodge or parry but mainly her focus should be to inflict as much damage as possible. When it comes to the metal knuckles they do exactly that
Wind materia is very fun to use and since the low MP cost it's for a bit of utility to it. If you have space for MP absorb you can get back exactly 3 or 4 MP depending on the amount of enemies you hit. But the slots are so reserved it's tough to make that decision
Yup! And if you want to enhance that even further against regular enemies too, chi trap is magic based. So using the Mythril claws really boost that attack up tremendously. I dedicated a segement to that in my tifa advanced guide as well
This is my end game build for her qithout watching any guilds besides giving her elemental with lighting rather then aero. Aero is best on cloud in my opinion.
Yes definitly a lot of viable varieties in play styles. Example cloud was my caster and healer rather then barret and i see a lot of people use barret as primary heal and big casts. I went for overally eounded aprotch to characters with slight diviations. He was just a back up for me mostly. But i have yet to see tifa caster build. Just doesnt make sense haha. So even though some varity you cant just play without using your head to characters strangths will nilly. Very well thought out game. I been deffending it hard whereever i can because it was exellent and want to see more of the same just slightly improved in the follow up. Thanks for making good interesting content on the game. They average out to being the same damage output but because crits are still luck based I'd prefer to go metal knuckles for raw damage. I just wanted to showcase a different weapon from what we've been seeing constantly with metal knuckles and feathered gloves etc

@@BltzZ firstly trying to get my atb enough to pressure bahamut enough until i beat him. I fought him on vr just to compare, and the vr bahamut is nothing compared to the top secret bahamut; like some hidden AI makes them smart each time i fight them 😱😱 Leviathan i can barely manage. I say barely coz half i knock him out, half theres just small hp left before he starts flying over 😪😪😪 been using the build and techniques ive seen. (Hehehe sorry, a bit long)
One you can get in chapter 7 after the lever mini game it's on the floor behind the door. And the other you can get in chapter 14 during the gym mini game from beating Jay
Yes! The AI will rarely use wind or cast spells but if you command menu use tifa to pull them with wind. You can have control Barret, cloud or aerith to punish those on the ground!
This game is a master piece! This is the first game ever that I've played through more than once back to back. On the surface the battle system seems very vanilla one you get beneath the surface though what you find is one of the most complex, malleable and fluid systems to fit any play style. One month out and already a goat.
It feels amazing going through the combat multiple times especially after fully grasping everyone's capabilities! Love love love this game so much I cannot wait to see what they do with remake part 2! Those 3 are the definite goat..although a magic build with either Mythril claws or Sonic strikers is viable. Its just not the best for tifa. But chi trap increased damage in magic based builds are super fun!
So glad to hear some love for the Feathered Gloves, when I finally looked at everyone weapon on everyone and saw how FAST and powerful they were for Tifa, it became perfect for my build. Ablities like Chi Trap and Blade Burst apply the Element you have on your weapon so it can exploit weakness, they are honestly hidden OP especially for Hard Mode because it is Magic that costs 0 MP. Chi Trap was MVP for Hard Mode for me, so were the Feathered Gloves. I have actually been meaning to try out the Purple Pain more because I think the Crit could get really dumb with Tifa. I do wish the raw stats were a bit higher on them though. P.S. I'm 90% to Platinum, I'm getting some trophies while on my way to get Barret's Resolution (why it isn't a trophy to get them all, I have no clue but I'm getting them anyway). After that, I'll only need to do Chapter 8 and 9 on Hard Mode one more time for the last two quests I haven't done yet, Cloud's manuscripts, and the last two dresses I'll need a that point.

Do you have to have elemental materia paired with eg fire to have blade burst inherit the element or do you simply need to have fire materia on the weapon? I don’t remember blade burst ever having an element on my play throughs.

There are mods our right now for the dresses but hopefully skins are added as a thing for wider range of use! PC release for this game is going to be wild next year!

Purple pain is one of my favorites to use on tifa, although during hard mode running around(where I'm at currently) I've been stuck using metal knuckles or mythril claws.
But in Colosseum and vr, people pain/ feathered gloves is my go to
It's so awesome how everyday I realize how versatile builds are for characters. I love just the amount of effort they really put into this I cannot wait to see what else we have in store for remake 2!

@@BltzZ I'm kind of envisioning his playstyle to feel like punisher cloud, but with normal dodges, and attacks might ground aerial enemies (or certain abilities) and his gauge builds up like barret's and has multiple levels like Tifa's for enhanced jumps (super/etc.)
And the majority of his weapon abilities could be explosives or other technological wonderies (aerial bombardments)

Tifa with refocus is just ridiculous. On my hard run on the whispers fight i used her limit break 5 times. 5 times in "one" fight. That was absolutely insane.

Those final Whispers are friggin' cheap with their rapid attacks. They deserved every Dolphin Flurry they got!
What does refocus actually do i just missed this weapon does refocus cause her limit break to build quicker
Gotterdamarung and refocus is low-key one of the most powerful item and materia combos in the game, the synergy is insane

Yup most definitely! I did the character advanced guides covering all weapons and abilities paired with Materia. But these unique builds are definitely going to be a focus from here on out!
Hey BlitzZ, I got an awesome balanced Tifa build that I think you’d enjoy making a video for! For the weapon, I use Feathered Gloves since it provides excellent ATB generating buffs, speed, balanced physical and magical attributes and great defense buffs. For the accessory I put a gotterdammerung with refocus materia to give Tifa 3 ATB bars. As for materia, I also added a Magic Up and any of the fire/ice/wind/thunder materia that the enemy is weak to. You can also add any support like first strike and ATB stagger materia for support. I found that Tifa’s magic attacks hit for ludicrous amounts of damage if they’re followed up immediately after using starshower. Starshower will always buff Tifa’s next command by 60% to 70% in my experience, and with this build my Tifa has a base magic stat of 310. This means that when using starshower to buff her magic attacks, she has the potential to have her magic spells hit with the force of someone who has a magic attack attribute of 496 to 528! That’s practically the highest magic stat out of anyone in this game, and this is just with one Magic Up materia + Feathered Gloves! This is basically why I think she has the most combat potential out of any party member in this game because you can use her insane DPS combos to wear down the enemy while also blasting her opponents with magic spells - all with one build! Tifa practically has unlimited potential in any role you put her in; monk class for insane DPS capability, mage class for ludicrous magic blasts, tank for her incredible evasiveness and defense...she can do it all! The best thing is she can fill all those roles in combat at the same time. The trick to using the starshower buff is to charge her ATB to 2 bars (made easier with the refocus materia) and perform starshower; then WHILE she’s in the middle of the starshower attack, select the magic spell in the menu and she’ll immediately cast it instantly after she finishes up her starshower. I’ve used firaga against the Soldier Candidates mission in the Shinra Combat Simulator and she’ll hit literally anywhere between 7000 to 9999 against the Sahagin Prince. Hope you’ll make a video to demo this idea! Think you’ll enjoy doing it too!

FF7R has very easy but also fun plat Trophie, problem is that after 100h in game there is nothing else to do, only repeating Boss battles just to try out bulids or mess around.

That's what happens with single player games, once you 100% them they are over. Og They could release updates or even, being hopeful, free dlc. I'd much rather have them focus on part 2 than waste time and resources on a finished project.
Either that or they could contract a smaller team or studio to work on the online similar to what call of duty games do. Just a small thing of hope but they have a fire game on their hands for sure! It would be awesome to see more content somewhat or even skins
Do the no Materia run, game feels like arcade coin up action fighting game. Especially if you have all shortcuts and play without slow motion pausing.

well by the time you get this set and equipment you already finish anything including the hardest boss, It doesnt matter anymore if its broken or not.
I havent even attempted hard mode yet actually. You can unlock all of this after beating the game on normal and just going to chapter 17 to finish the challenges
im so happy someone do a crit build, i rarely see people use purple pain for tifa, the skill tree for it is really good, i love crit build too,.. and nice trick with wind materia, aero is my under utilized magic in any ff,,, well the orig ff7 doesnt have aero magic, some enemy have that magic,, raps boss in wutai have aero2 iirc.
Yup wind is my most Underused as well but not anymore! I will be using it for sure
My favorite loadout for tifa is:
Purple pain, force bracelet, transference module
With the following materia:
2xluck up, 2xhp up, prayer, deadly dodge, atb stagger, atb assist, refocus(stats only), revival
Summon is typically ifrit for the higher atk stat, but chocomog is also good for the luck boost.
I spend time as her just triggering atb bars for everyone else and laying down the crits.
I find it fun, if not a bit bland.

Purple Pain is my go-to choice for Tifa, simply because of the crit factor; I already have Cloud with Hardedge for raw physical damage, so I like to switch it up with crit-based Tifa.
One thing I do with Tifa is give her Prayer; yeah not Chakra, Prayer. She just builds ATB so quickly that I have little trouble getting her up to 2 bars, so I figured might as well have her heal the whole party as well. Then again I do things like give her Time and ATB Stagger too, so.
I know you really like Deadly Dodge on Tifa (I mean, who doesn't love her Tatsumaki Senpukyaku?), but have you tried Parry with her? Her variant of Parry is the fastest among the four, and lets her dodge things that's usually impossible to avoid otherwise such as Bahamut's Umbral Strikes.
Parry and deadly dodge are my favorite hands down on tifa. I couldn't fit it in this build unless i removed MP up like i mentioned but I always usually have parry on tifa. I just feel like it was made specifically for her! She has the least amount of defensive capabilities so parrying around the map is perfect for her to get in and out
Also, agreed with the battle system; just can't put it down. Honestly I'll be content if Square Enix patches in some sort of boss rush mode just so we can play around with it without having to retrace our steps through every chapter.
I mean, the VR simulation excuse is RIGHT THERE. Such a waste, not making use of it to include a boss rush mode. :(
This was one of two weapons I missed on my first playthrough! The second one was Barret's from the very same chapter because I didn't have enough money.
I missed Barrets also but that was because I did talk to that man outside the room haha silly me!
I don't have Gotterdamerung, but I did drop Transferrence on her as soon as I got it, and mained Tifa as often as possible the rest of the game. Since she's constantly building and burning ATP to do things, she builds limit crazy fast.

I'm really interested in seeing how the current materia combinations will fare in part 2 of the game. Will they introduce more materia? Will new gear have more materia slots or will we have to complete certain quest to gain access to more slots. The Original had/has (still playing it) a great materia combination list and I'd love to see more of that in this one. Keep putting out these great videos man.

The materia combinations are always the best part for me with OG ff7. I can't wait to see what else we get. Also I think we'll have more materia for sure and hopefully custom made slots. I think we can also see certain purple materia being slotted to characters as abilities to their kit. Like deadly dodge and parry etc for tifa. I'd imagine they do this to free up more combinations too

It's almost like you have the plans available for my builds =0 haha Thanks man im glad you enjoyed this! I actually am simultaneously working on a barret build and a cloud build but unsure of what to release first haha. A raw damage aerith build is in the works then a crit build for her as well
l keep her with Feathered Gloves and ATB Assist materia for the other two party members. l play very aggressive, so the extra ATB she provides while still brutalizing everything is much welcomed. But to be honest, l didn´t care much for ATB Assist until Chapter 6 on my Hard Mode playthrough, made me realize l didn´t make the best out of the stagger window with Cloud and Barret/Aerith.
Since l was burning and rebuilding ATB with Tifa like crazy, decided to try out the materia and it was a huge boost, now everyone had at least one ATB when entering on stagger phase and started to save extra seconds per boss fight. My only complaint is that it doesn´t seem to provide the bonus if you dodge cancel any of her skills, you can attack between them for a moment, but dodging is a no go...At first l thought it was fair given how easily it is to transition from Focused Strike to itself or to another skill after a Deadly Dodge...But then l realized it was basically the same time spent if you allow her to finish the animation and attack once or twice before doing the next skill...So now l don´t understand why it doesn´t apply the bonus if you dodge cancel.
Maybe it is because the timer starts at the end of the skill´s animation? And dodge cancelling never gets to trigger it because the animation doesn´t play entirely.
Timer starting at the end of the skills animation sounds correct to me i think thats what it is. Yeah i wish that wasnt the case myself ATB assist is definitely best on tifa and a always use option for me if I can fit it in haha its usually almost always in my build. And i love using the feathered gloves too! For me its the feathered gloves > Metal Knuckles > Purple Pain
I remember Maximiliandood saying Aerith's attacks looked like Cirque De Soleil, but the more I watch Tifa string combos together, she's the one that looks more like an acrobat.

Didn't use the purple pain much though but you're making it easy if i ever gonna use it and my favourite gloves would be feather gloves but now i am using leather gloves.
Leather gloves are super well rounded all her weapons are great!
I have been using a similar build to this since my first playthrough when i got her weapon in normal. Not using Gotter/Refocus because I haven’t done the boss rush, just haven’t got around to it. I have chain bangle on her instead because of how frail she is.
Awesome! Gotterdammerung sort of breaks the game but I like having it for refocus. The limit break builds back so fast with it regardless tho. It's ridiculous!

There is a lot of discussion of Metal Knuckles VS Purple Pain, but I personally always liked Purple Pain way better for those sweet crits.

This build is beautiful. I recently tried experimenting with a general build that exploits HP Absorb + Deadly Dodge while using Parry, only to find out it doesn't work. I think enjoying the Aero tricks you just made us aware of will help me cope with my failure. Oh, and my favorite Tifa weapon is her fists. ;p

Don't care about trophies or getting all the dresses, but I was on my 4th playthough/second playthrough of hard when I was finally burnt out. A week later I already feel like playing it again, I think so a solo challenge would be fun, having my teammates wear the frog rings. What would be the ideal solo set up for Tifa?
Solo setups would be awesome with the frog rings for sure! Best setup for tifa would be refocus with gotterrdammerung and metal knuckles. Purple materia mostly for like deadly dodge or parry but mainly her focus should be to inflict as much damage as possible. When it comes to the metal knuckles they do exactly that
i know its been 3 years but how can i find 10 diff monsters for hp absorption?
This was one of my first hard mode tifa builds
Wind materia is very fun to use and since the low MP cost it's for a bit of utility to it. If you have space for MP absorb you can get back exactly 3 or 4 MP depending on the amount of enemies you hit. But the slots are so reserved it's tough to make that decision
@@BltzZ I also found out that chi trap does HEAVY stagger to turrets just recently. 200 + hours in this game and still finding new things
Yup! And if you want to enhance that even further against regular enemies too, chi trap is magic based. So using the Mythril claws really boost that attack up tremendously. I dedicated a segement to that in my tifa advanced guide as well

They even out to about the same. But crit chance is still a gamble so the more consistent output of damage would he the metal knuckles!
This is my end game build for her qithout watching any guilds besides giving her elemental with lighting rather then aero. Aero is best on cloud in my opinion.

Yes definitly a lot of viable varieties in play styles. Example cloud was my caster and healer rather then barret and i see a lot of people use barret as primary heal and big casts. I went for overally eounded aprotch to characters with slight diviations. He was just a back up for me mostly. But i have yet to see tifa caster build. Just doesnt make sense haha. So even though some varity you cant just play without using your head to characters strangths will nilly. Very well thought out game. I been deffending it hard whereever i can because it was exellent and want to see more of the same just slightly improved in the follow up. Thanks for making good interesting content on the game. Hope your chanel does well!
How much damage does a critical hit average vs a metal knuckle high attack build
They average out to being the same damage output but because crits are still luck based I'd prefer to go metal knuckles for raw damage. I just wanted to showcase a different weapon from what we've been seeing constantly with metal knuckles and feathered gloves etc

@@BltzZ firstly trying to get my atb enough to pressure bahamut enough until i beat him. I fought him on vr just to compare, and the vr bahamut is nothing compared to the top secret bahamut; like some hidden AI makes them smart each time i fight them 😱😱

One you can get in chapter 7 after the lever mini game it's on the floor behind the door. And the other you can get in chapter 14 during the gym mini game from beating Jay

Yes! The AI will rarely use wind or cast spells but if you command menu use tifa to pull them with wind. You can have control Barret, cloud or aerith to punish those on the ground!

This game is a master piece! This is the first game ever that I've played through more than once back to back. On the surface the battle system seems very vanilla one you get beneath the surface though what you find is one of the most complex, malleable and fluid systems to fit any play style. One month out and already a goat.
It feels amazing going through the combat multiple times especially after fully grasping everyone's capabilities! Love love love this game so much I cannot wait to see what they do with remake part 2! Those 3 are the definite goat..although a magic build with either Mythril claws or Sonic strikers is viable. Its just not the best for tifa. But chi trap increased damage in magic based builds are super fun!

So glad to hear some love for the Feathered Gloves, when I finally looked at everyone weapon on everyone and saw how FAST and powerful they were for Tifa, it became perfect for my build. Ablities like Chi Trap and Blade Burst apply the Element you have on your weapon so it can exploit weakness, they are honestly hidden OP especially for Hard Mode because it is Magic that costs 0 MP. Chi Trap was MVP for Hard Mode for me, so were the Feathered Gloves.
I have actually been meaning to try out the Purple Pain more because I think the Crit could get really dumb with Tifa. I do wish the raw stats were a bit higher on them though.
P.S. I'm 90% to Platinum, I'm getting some trophies while on my way to get Barret's Resolution (why it isn't a trophy to get them all, I have no clue but I'm getting them anyway). After that, I'll only need to do Chapter 8 and 9 on Hard Mode one more time for the last two quests I haven't done yet, Cloud's manuscripts, and the last two dresses I'll need a that point.

Do you have to have elemental materia paired with eg fire to have blade burst inherit the element or do you simply need to have fire materia on the weapon?
I don’t remember blade burst ever having an element on my play throughs.

There are mods our right now for the dresses but hopefully skins are added as a thing for wider range of use! PC release for this game is going to be wild next year!

@@BltzZ it's easy. Especially when you start maxing out the weapons. Those +12 damage nodes really start fucking people up. Lol. I did a no mana playthrough on hard, with no gotterdamerung. I think hell house was the only irritating boss.
That's an awesome feat! Yeah hell house with no magic sounds annoying. Lustrous shield with aerith helps a lot against those chairs tho!
