I’ve seen people get turned away for using stubhub/vivid seat tickets. Now that it’s known no one bothers trying to resell tickets for the shows at the venue so when something is sold out, it’s really sold out.
Exactly. First thing I thought lol. So these people will get all the hot tickets(Taylor Swift for example), get themselves 10+ tickets, and sell them way higher after the usual sold out arena that occurs with her. 😅

if their tech/codes are actually as great as they said and is truly 'undetectable', then my opinion is that their true money making business is to sell their tech to big companies like Nike or event pages to secure the online purchases against the b2b bots as a gate for them to resell it to consumers rather than making consumers subscribe/pay for the tech. pretty surprised that Mark didn't really question the backend stuff since he's usually skeptical with tech pitches
for those confused, i think they just made a simple to use website that acts like a bot for everyday people to be able to compete with people who are more experienced with using bots.
😂😂😂 I burst out laughing when she thanked them for leveling the ground and she said she was out. Oh Barbara, where would the Shark Tank comment section be without you? 😭
Build a browser extension and give it out for free. If people like it (and it works), charge users 99 cents or per booking fee or something. Don't need sharks or funding. Not a real business.
From technical perspective speaking. Let's say you want to buy a ticket or anything else then you have to first of all provide the card details. In many cases because of automation it can also require you to sign in details of a platform as well depending upon what level of automation they are offering. It's a scam. Not a product. Technically there are a lot of concerns
What do you mean it's a scam. Millions of platforms require you to entire your card details including social media platforms. If you don't want to do it, don't do it. But don't call it scam cause that means they are committing a crime. That's your claim.
@@DeEmperor1 The scam part is that its not as easy to do this technically speaking as the founders made it seem to be without providing details on how they're doing it
Plus there is a lot of legal grey areas with regards to terms of use when you're scraping and injecting data for this purpose. People who are technical enough and have, lets say, not so moral motives obviously dont care.
So… they want to combat the problem with bots, by just using bots themselves. Meaning, you’re just going to make the problem with bots even worse for the regular guy. Nice.
There's nothing I hate more than bots, especially when they stand as gatekeepers between you and a HUMAN customer service rep. I wish this business failure.

I don't understand the pitch, most websites are aware that this can be a potential problem, thats why captcha exists! How do they get through that?
Bots have past that hurdle for years now lol
Believe it or not they send the captcha to a warehouse of indians in india who solve it
I've used sneaker bots in the past, they fly through captchas lol
