“I am a bot and for that reason, I’m out”-Barbara
LOL
She just has way less money than others. She said it herself.
@@olekbeluga314 Still, she can just change her mind later. I think most deals actually don’t go through in the end
Finally some Barbara joke
Rubin just wants to buy the company to learn its software to help beat the bots at his company
That’s business bro…
No you idiot it’s cause he knows if you can’t beat an enemy you must join them if you want your company to survive
its trojan horse strategy 😁😁
Actually they don't need to spend $150K to learn how to beat bots. Paying a few thousand dollars to an expert that you can find in online job marketplaces will suffice. One of them is myself. And no, I am not talking about using CAPTCHA.
I was writing simpler but similar bots 20 years ago and now I am developing my own software package. It is not a big deal to write a bot for certain tasks for certain website. To write a consumer configurable bot which will work on many websites is interesting though.
Hi
I think these guys needed bots to negotiate, they kept increasing the dollar ask but not the equity.
"and for that reason I'm out" - Barbara

Kevin traumatized from the forex scam
Crypto
The FTX scandal killed his reputation.
Someone told me that Kevin was part of the scam.
FX isn’t a scam but it’s extremely manipulative compared to the stock market 💪 random crypto coins are sketchy
Yes he have a conflict of interested
Maurice was alllll over the place with the math lol. Wasn’t adding up. Increasing the valuation with each offer.
Kindof stupid :)
his eyes are also all over the place
i hate the bots … they buy up and resell at astronomical prices. sorry my bias had me hating this whole concept.
I don't get it. Who controls them.
cant blame ya
You know what's crazy..ur opinion doesn't matter...
@@voyagetravel1840 you know what’s even crazier… neither does yours… you really spend your time scrolling through shark tank comments just to hate… touch grass 😂
@matthewdonnelly2100 is she gna let you hit for all that simping? Stfu 🤣
I am trying to destroy bots. That’s my life goal!
2 min later: please, let me be your partner.
if their tech/codes are actually as great as they said and is truly 'undetectable', then my opinion is that their true money making business is to sell their tech to big companies like Nike or event pages to secure the online purchases against the b2b bots as a gate for them to resell it to consumers rather than making consumers subscribe/pay for the tech.
pretty surprised that Mark didn't really question the backend stuff since he's usually skeptical with tech pitches
Sounds like they are leaving a huge piece out I just don’t know what it is
"... and for that reason, I'm out"
So the problem is bots, and they are solving the problem with more bots? What?
it's more like an eater
They're making it "easy" for people
(these bots are not any better than cyber 💀)
bots for the avg person , it levels the playing field
yes exactly because you can never stop the bots so make it more available
So this gives scalpers even more opportunities to scalp lol.
Scalpers are going to scalp regardless. This gives the average consumer a chance to beat scalpers
@@SuperHNDRXX this is just adding to the problem. But that’s Ticketmaster/live nation for you, they profit off all transactions so they encourage it lol. If we’re talking about actual solutions, I have a local venue near me who has a good system in place. They sell their own tickets and they only accept tickets through said website. I’ve seen people get turned away for using stubhub/vivid seat tickets. Now that it’s known no one bothers trying to resell tickets for the shows at the venue so when something is sold out, it’s really sold out.
@@SuperHNDRXX Basically. A good analogue is the gun argument.
@@justthestuff3324Exactly, people are gonna break the law no matter what the law says, I might as well empower myself
Exactly. First thing I thought lol. So these people will get all the hot tickets(Taylor Swift for example), get themselves 10+ tickets, and sell them way higher after the usual sold out arena that occurs with her. 😅
Barbara: I don't buy stuff online, therefore I'm out
Barbara: I don't own a PC I'm out.
Barbara: I use carrier pigeon to make my orders. I'm out.
bro in the glasses can't stand the old guy lmfaoooooo

When the 2nd offer came in, he was trying to sell it for 500k for 20% which makes me think hes great in tech but not in maths ....
$300k for 30% of an app company-that’s cheap and the Sharks know it. If this app goes in the billions, it’ll be one of their best tank investments
This app is dumb
“Your business is respectable and honorable, and for that reason, I’m out.” - Barbara
😂😂😂
I burst out laughing when she thanked them for leveling the ground for the small sharks and right after that she said she was out.
Oh Barbara, where would the Shark Tank comment section be without you? 😭
@@what9331 well said
I am failing to understand where is AI used in this? This is just normal automation. Also the negotiation was so horrible I felt that second hand embarrassment 😂
9:26 Lmaooo I actually spat my drink out 💀💀💀 “Make us an offer we can’t refuse”, and it’s 25 steps backwards 😭
Why did nobody ask what they will do about scalpers and the like using their service to buy all the concert tickets or limited edition releases?
Scalpers are already doing this themselves for free, they don't need to pay these guys, this software makes it easier for the general consumer to do the same
@@IAmTheJaysterit just makes it more accessible for people to enter the scalping business
Once Mark Cuban’s team sees the backend this deal will freaking dissolve
Why??
Are you trying to say blks can't develop their own software and only rely on open sourced code?
@@theempire00 because an all use case for bots don't make sense, they need to be tailored and specific, there needs to be a fundamental level of coding required to bot sneakers or anything online
@@theempire00 put a simple captcha. Bot-it is out of business
Rubin's self-deprecating honesty and genuineness is charming and fantastic: a different type of capitalist? He should be a Tank regular.
Build a browser extension and give it out for free. If people like it (and it works), charge users 99 cents or per booking fee or something. Don't need sharks or funding. Not a real business.
The only intelligent comment here. NGMI
Their prices scream B2B
@@0lli2 the whole point is for consumers though lol. i dont really see the point of having this b2b given scalping companies are already so established
Needs a bot to understand valuation lol
As someone working in IT... I can tell you that you can hire someone from India for $1000 and get this coded. This technology is the most basic of coding, so they definitely pulled a fast one on Mark here
The issue I see with this is that you have to pay to beat the bots. They would have to have a subscription. To something that should be free. Like I shouldn’t have to pay to have a chance to buy a ticket you know?
I'd love to see the unedited version of this.
As someone who’s missed out on a bunch of releases cause of bots I hate this idea. Takes away from regular people and gives the upper hand to resellers
From technical perspective speaking. Let's say you want to buy a ticket or anything else then you have to first of all provide the card details. In many cases because of automation it can also require you to sign in details of a platform as well depending upon what level of automation they are offering. It's a scam. Not a product. Technically there are a lot of concerns
yeah i'm surprised cuban and reuben were so light on tech details for their diligencing here
What do you mean it's a scam. Millions of platforms require you to entire your card details including social media platforms. If you don't want to do it, don't do it. But don't call it scam cause that means they are committing a crime. That's your claim.
@@DeEmperor1 The scam part is that its not as easy to do this technically speaking as the founders made it seem to be without providing details on how they're doing it
Plus there is a lot of legal grey areas with regards to terms of use when you're scraping and injecting data for this purpose. People who are technical enough and have, lets say, not so moral motives obviously dont care.
Don't want to break a dream but any company who truly values their products can easily prevent bots from ever purchasing anything. So this is going to be a niche market. It will only work with vendors who wants to sell more in a short amount of time or at least make it look like they sold this many in this much of time. And those kind of markets only happen every 6 to 12 months, once a year or to celebrate something rare. In hindsight, a seasonal business.
Good too see very smart brothas
They’re Happy and They’re Singing and They’re Colored…
Give them a Hi-Five👍🏾
If this works its not only going to be the consumers using it. No barrier to entry.
10:41 yeah and you almost blew it
Kevin never fails to amaze me he finds this as moral. Issue and i thought theres a moral issue with kevin 🙌♥️
Well everytime i do that i need to go through the confirm im not a bot and select photos of like a stupid bus or something. Surprised this issue didnt get brought up
for those confused, i think they just made a simple to use website that acts like a bot for everyday people to be able to compete with people who are more experienced with using bots.
Whats under my nose?? Im outh
They didn’t mention the biggest barrier bots face, Captcha! Captchas are good at catching bots
While it can be a hurdle, you can use captcha harvesters and other online services like 2captcha to bypass that issue.
Some bots come with a captcha solver installed within the bot or there’s an extension for it to solve captcha
oh this is probably where their "AI" comes in
So that's why I can't get a table at Dorsia for two!
I don't think Ive seen Barbara make an offer in over a year haha
Moves from $199.00 free truck says: this guy Ruben is twice as rich as Cuban
Very weird negotiation which had me confused on Mark’s end because he started with a 750K evaluation as a single shark(20%) and then ended up agreeing to a 1M evaluation with 2 sharks onboard. Can someone help me understand what happened?!
Is anyone else thinking, what I am thinking ?
A complex captcha shall stop such bots from making reservations.
Or, I am missing something.
Thinking the same thing, why hasnt this become an industry standard yet?
the whole product is nonsensical and won't work in real life
Some of (maybe most) retail and sneaker bots have “captcha harvesters” where you can store solved captcha responses. If a bot doesn’t have this ability then yes a captcha would stop it. Also, older gmails are a plus vs google captchas (forgot the specifics, been out of the space for awhile).
My main concern with this service is the backend, lots of bot services and their developers are constantly releasing updates and patches to keep up with a companies own increase in security against these bots. Also, each business/website operates differently so a bot is not a one size fits all solution without major work.
500 for 20% that's a higher valuation than their original valuation lol
So they built a bot to solve the problem of bots
Can't beat them join them
And the competition will be who has the better bot.
Automation masters
update: In November, 2023 - about a month after the original air date - the company website was comepletely re-designed. As of March, 2024, it appears the deal with Mark and Michael closed.
Closed as in done or stopped?
"we are helping the common person" helping all the scalpers with tickets, ps6, next gen xbox and switch pro that will come out
Thing is scalpers already use bots
The dude was too excited to negotiate lol
Kevin talking about morals is like a lion talking about veganism
Is there a used case for buying stocks with Bot It ? Or is it non compliant?
Dude's math turned Rubin off 🤣🤣
Thank God for the shorter guy, he saved that deal I think
...... someone please wake me up when this episode is over !!!
Even during lockdown Barbara still went out
It is really great idea. It can be worked. The Amazon has locker now and it can be open by scanning the label on the box.
Mr.Perfect supporting FTX while trying to say this is unethical is nuts...
Going to be awfully hard to get around sites once they figure out it's a bot. Unless they have APIs which are available to anyone
Mark felt threatened by Rubin… its so obvious
He wasn’t threatened, just saw the opportunity of having another billion in the stake
Let's go, Cuban! I believe in you. Yes, Sir!
Not smart to get a shark that wants to eliminate your company. He literally said he wanted to get rid of bots. But with Mark interested. He came in to offer it
I thought that I recognized that Michael Ruben guy. He was on undercover boss.
1.5M evaluation is a joke, scalpers have had this tech for ages, some even sell bots.
The answer to Barbara's question was not explained enough. But good, you'll only get the investor who understands what you do
I can't believe Mark invested in this crap
Mark wants just to learn and beat the bots
Love it. When I see my people doing this type of business .
These guys could’ve got 300 for 25% if they weren’t so quick to decide something
Thinking about those Nikes I set an alarm for and didn’t get even though I nailed the order in about 30 seconds… 😭
Yeezys my guy still haunt me to this day. got 4 pairs of pirate black on Adidas drop and they cancelled.. all 4 bc same billing addy. fml. no Kanye pun intended
now you understand how Cuban is smart guy! before hearing the deal from guys he didn't shake the hand.
the idiots don't know basic math lmao
It's pretty much like, If you can't beat them, join them.
I’m awake, and for that reason I’m Out.
-Who am I?-
8:19 wow
So… they want to combat the problem with bots, by just using bots themselves. Meaning, you’re just going to make the problem with bots even worse for the regular guy. Nice.
Company has multiple revenue streams:
“This is way too confusing, for that reason I’m out.” barbara
This would have been great if it works for individuals and not just for companies.
This pitch is a great example of when rich people hear the word ai and lose all common sense. Bad pitch, bad product, so many red flags. Old guy couldnt even negotiate properly, terrible math
kevin being the most humane one
that UI is atrocious. They need a front end developer.
"This is not a respect tank"😂
Lori got the extra push up support today
As soon as these two derelicts started spewing backwards numbers, I’d be OUT.
no one mentioned the fact you're trusting the AI with your credit card...
bro talking bout the Jordan 1 Trav’s😭
Their math was all over the place but glad they got a deal
That guy is giving me a alien vibe
This software is completely illegal when checking out on their website
I need it for k-pop concert REAL QUICK ASAP STARTS TOMORROW!
Take it, guys.
I can make a python script within 5 minutes that does that same.. create a ui and boom. Easy product, pointless company.
not a programmer but im pretty sure any programmer can make an app/program like this in like a week no? like there a lot of people that make these programs for themselves to like manage their website or mod games/automate specific sequence of tasks, like this cant even be count as a buisness apart from teh 350 subscribers they have. I think this just shows how old fashioned a lot of the population is if they think this is a company worth 1 million dollar but its a job you can hire a programmer to do for like 1k-5k 💀💀
Any updates?
You can't beat them, so join 'em - just smarter!
So they renamed selenium
Sounds like the only way to stop a bad guy with a bot is a good guy with a bot
I don't understand the pitch, most websites are aware that this can be a potential problem, thats why captcha exists! How do they get through that?
Bots have past that hurdle for years now lol
Believe it or not they send the captcha to a warehouse of indians in india who solve it
I've used sneaker bots in the past, they fly through captchas lol
Mmm... Lori showing off her goods! Very nice!
this is gonna be big
As a common person. I hate resellers. That's my opinion.
Eggs, bacon, sourdough bread, what’s everyone else having ?
How bout u shut up
Redbull and a sig
Bagel egg and cheese
ravioli
Turkey sausage fried egg veggies n potatoes
Decent idea but some red flags. First, poor communication between the two founders and also with the sharks. They struggled to agree on anything; that makes for poor collaboration down the line. Second, a B2C model won't bring in the revenue like a B2B will. With Ruben as a shark, there goes the B2B business. I wasn't surprised to see their site is very basic with poor UI
Here we go again. Mark Mr Know it all
