- My 2014 Silverado with a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler welded in place of the stock muffler. Single 3" in to dual 2.5" out. The tips are Dynomax 2.5" in 4" out stainless clamp ons. The 3rd catalytic converter is removed. Engine is completely stock other than the exhaust you see here. I love the way it sounds. There is no flapper valve installed. When is kicks into V4 mode it's noticeable but not too terrible.

Is there any drone in the cab at all? I want to delete my 3rd cat as well. I have the Flowmaster super44 also and I have the 3rd cat still on and I want my Silverado to be a little louder, but worried that it may be too loud
Did you have a check engine light come on when you did this. I'm asking because I'm doing my exhaust the same way come spring.
Brandon Kersey I have no check engine lights and no problems whatsoever.

Did you notice a big difference in sound after you deleted the 3rd cat? Or was it all done at once?

What did you do to take the third cat out?
Timothy Beaty I took it to the muffler shop and told them “Take the third car out” and they said “Will do” lol. That’s about it.
All they do is cut it on either side remove it and put a piece of pipe where it was
Not loud at all go straights all the way
I wanted a good daily driver sound. Straights would’ve been too loud for what I wanted on a daily.
