Yes, there are a lot of gurdies out there that aren't even real gurdies and let's be honest: It's a challenging journey in adjusting the gurdy to sound beautiful. That's why I am on a mission! Most people know the gurdy from pirate songs and balfolk. But I am trying my utmost best to prove that the gurdy can be sensitive and dramatic.
I hope you will like this cover and I am always on the lookout for more dramatic tunes to play on the hurdy gurdy.

How are your strings tuned?

The strings are tuned in g-g (basic setup), but I transposed the melody to play the following chords: Am, F, C and E. I hope this answers your question 🙂
