the candle holders are so natural the way they are, please don't paint them. Love the prints too.
The candle holders are beautiful as is. If you do something to them, they won't be authentic. Love what you found.
Thank you for your feedback. The candle holders have grown on me which the stuff I find usually does if I just sit them to the side and just ponder what to do with them.

I agree about not painting the bulbs. I think that you will grow to appreciate the natural look of them. Also, I am a blue and white fan. The dishes are great. I like the print and the plate on your painted table so switch them ever so often. LOVE your foyer table and the print looks super there. And I’m loving your blue and white striped chair!!!! Your style is lovely.

Maybe try doing a white wax on the bulb candle holders to tone down the colors before you paint them? I think it would look nice. If you still don't like it, just paint them to your choice of color. Also, ❤ the floral month prints! I'm collecting the bigger ones. So far I have 2 just like you! I want to collect all 12 and do a gallery wall of them. Maybe hang something to signify the current month? I don't know yet, but I ❤the prints on your tables on the holders!

Hi Angie, There were so many nice things at that shop. I'd love to find one of those huge ginger jars. Everything you bought is lovely. However you paint the candlesticks will turn out nice since you're so talented. I like the print on the easel. 'Till next time, God bless.

I would use brass or bronze paint for those candle holders, since you were looking at the brass candle holders in that shop. I like the prints on the easels, the added height is eye catching.

I have a wall in my dinning room, that I started adding my blue and white plate collection on, I now call it my “Great Wall of China “ the plates go up and around my china hutch

Why buy items to change them? Buy what you love the way they are.

Regarding the footstool , maybe do a little research before stripping. If it is a valuable piece you will lose that value. I love upcycling, but antique pieces cannot easily be restored to their original look. Maybe look for pieces in the shades you prefer. Many antiques have been ruined by "too quick to paint" and their history gone forever. Check carefully before stripping and painting, please.
Thanks for your feedback. I definitely check out the item before I do anything to it. You’ll be happy to know that the footstool is still in its original state and I’m thinking about just adding a plant to it right now.
I'm not entirely sure I understand why anybody would want something like an artillery shell in their house to admire on their dining room table. Something that represents horrendous suffering and misery for millions of people.
Thank you for your input. I love that the artillery shells are a piece of history that remind us of the sacrifices that those men and women made. Lest we forget all of the strong men and women that fought for freedom that we are so blessed to have in the U.S.A.
