Gaura is so whimsical. I have it planted near my roses, it grows into them, they sway in the wind. Pruning it back and it will flush out more.

Hello you have a love of flowers and birds the same as I do. I have noticed that since the cicadas were here the cardinals gold finches blue birds and blue jays have vanished. I am so sad,did this happen to anyone else. I do have hummers but not nearly as many as usual. Love from Missouri

Regarding the footstool , maybe do a little research before stripping. If it is a valuable piece you will lose that value. I love upcycling, but antique pieces cannot easily be restored to their original look. Maybe look for pieces in the shades you prefer. Many antiques have been ruined by "too quick to paint" and their history gone forever. Check carefully before stripping and painting, please.

The candle holders are beautiful as is. If you do something to them, they won't be authentic. Love what you found.
