Lucy, There simply is a fresh sense of excitement that loiters around my presence each time you upload a video. You are one of the few TH-camrs I watch nowadays. I have been working towards writing for my Scholastic Art and Writing Awards submission, which I hold a new confidence in after a long time. I love reading classics and that passion is shared as your videos are present always for me in every possible way of connection we can have. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll is a lovely book to read even in being utterly nonsensical, for it ultimately transports us to another world. I have been meaning to read The Awakening by Kate Chopin and The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter for a while now. I love you
I was thrilled to see that you had uploaded a video. Your reviews of classic literature are always so thoughtful and articulate and never give plot spoilers. It is because of you that I discovered and pursued classics. I have just finished reading Tess of the D’urbevilles.
Oh, I'd forgotten about Angela Carter's Puss-in-Boots! Will probably have to re-read that now. 🙂 Anyway, nice to hear from you as usual, Lucy, and I'm patiently waiting for you to get around to Sense and Sensibility.

I am in the same boat you. Reading is really difficult these this year. I really don’t know why? My total book count this year it’s two. Also,I’m getting a Pembroke Corgi soon! YAY! 🎉🤩
I’ve read Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and loved it, I have a video about it on my channel, currently I’m doing a reread of Little Women, love this book so much

I loved the Alice books, which I didn't read until I was in my mid-40s. I regret not having read it when I was much younger.

If you have not already, get Wharton's short fiction, especially her ghost stories.
Yes, I'm hoping to read her ghost stories before the end of the year! Really excited to read them!
Wimsay was played on the tv years ago by Peter Davidson. Does that help?
