    Hey Brian! I love the content, best menswear channel on TH-cam honestly. However, and maybe it’s just me, but the last two videos had clickbait-ish titles. I’m not sure if anyone else agrees, but I say it only because this channel always has extremely high quality content (last two videos included) and the titles seem to run a little antithetical to that (sounds like something you would expect on a certain Alpha channel...). Mean no disrespect at all, love the content and your style, just thought I would share my two cents.

      Ryan Cooke Hahah no I agree, not there by any means. The content is still A+. Just would hate to see it go that way even in title alone that’s all.

      Knowing my audience, I’m fairly certain that if this was titled 5 Ways To Wear a Solaro Suit, it would get less attention than the title I chose, which I think is a fair question. I am a universalist and I want spread my love of menswear and the power it can have towards personal growth and development to as many people as possible. And if a title like I chose helps introduce more people to an amazing fabric they wouldn’t have known of or considered, that’s a fair trade off for me. You are going to see some changes here in terms of thumbnail look and video cadence, but the content and intent will not change. That I promise. Thanks for chiming in. I would hope that everyone who’s noting the thumbnails would be more like, oh, THIS is what I was expecting, but wow that was refreshing that that’s what I didn’t get served. Believe me, I know what you’re talking about and what you don’t like. For real.

    Very intriguing piece of fabric. I don't think I am able (or willing, tbh :) )to wear one, but I feel it does compliment YOUR skin tone and overall vibe. Might be interesting to see it on the streets in true sunlight, and not in a studio - although I know it's harder to shoot well this way.
    Thank you for great content as usual, Brian.

    One quick question: Is your Solaro a cotton or a wool fabric? Great video as always, I especially love the second and the last look! Some purists may complain about the Solaro without a tie, but I think it's a perfect match with the denim shirt.

    Brian.....What's the key to trouser length so that the break looks the same whether you are wearing loafers, double monk straps bluchers, or lace up oxfords?

    • @conanchi6564
      @conanchi6564 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I second Brain’s idea. If you want to be more precise, it’s basically about finding the sweet spot between dress shoes and loafers. The simplest way is to try pinning down your trousers by yourself at home, where you can try on the shoes you have and find the most versatile length. Sneakers are out of the question though. Most of them will inevitably add half a break to your trousers.

    • @hespokestyle
      @hespokestyle  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@conanchi6564 I always think that when you're considering sneakers with a suit, no break is what's going to look best.

    Look #4 is my favorite, the green tie and blue shirt combination is interesting. I also prefer the stripe direction on my ties to fall "from the heart" as my good friend always says. I'm not sure why it looks better, but the opposite direction stripe just looks wrong.

  • @azizquadri5824
    @azizquadri5824 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Lovely video, but after having watched you for so long, I would expect such quality content.
    Outfit #1: There is power in simplicity! This is such a simple and elegant summer look, the dark brown grenadine tie works so well with this suit, it's plain but the texture is what makes it go so well with the suit. The white pocket square is a great way to stick to the simple vibe of this look. The braided loafers and the braided belt look good, but on this suit trousers, you should have opted for side adjusters instead of belt loops as that would have really given this suit a more sartorial appeal. The Reverso is an absolutely lovely watch to wear with this suit.
    Outfit #2: Wow! Such magnificent pattern mixing, love how the stripe of the shirt only compliments the stripe of the tie. The variation in size of the stripes is what makes this work so well. The pocket square is one of the most versatile and one of the best pocket squares I've ever seen in your outfits. The hat works so well with the look, and the braided loafers again complement the look. This is my favourite outfit, it looks so sartorial and elegant.
    Outfit #3: Now this is a timeless look. You can never go wrong with this look. For such a simple look, you've elevated it with a very unusual yet beautiful pocket square. The suede loafers look really elegant as always.
    Outfit #4: Another great look. Its unusual for green to work with blue, but this outfit is a great example of the fact that you can't rule out any colour combination just because it looks wrong in your head, unless you try it. The pocket square is absolutely beautiful, the ivory with a hint of green is a perfect choice for this particular outfit. The suede loafers are always an elegant choice for the summer.
    Outfit #5: This is my second favourite look, and definitely the most wearable for my lifestyle. I just absolutely adore the denim shirt and the tieless look with the salaro suit as it perfectly matches the casual vibe of the salaro suit. The bold and contrasting pocket square is a great accent to this suit. It's a great outfit that I can certainly Imagine myself wearing to a nice restaurant for a casual lunch in the summer months.

    I was just wondering about loafers, how easy is it to get a pair that fit well enough that you do not feel that you have to be worried about the shoes falling off or the backs getting caught under your feet if you where to catch the sort of back wall of the shoe on a pavement?

    I heard that classic fashion rules say you shouldn't wear a hat and sunglasses at the same time because each one is supposed to help reduce sun in your eyes on their own. However, I see that you wear sunglasses with your hat. That is how I do it, and I think it works well. Can we say that classic rule is outdated and doesn't need to be followed any more?

      Hell yes. A hat shades your face and eyes, but it can still be really darn bright without sunglasses on.

    Looks great but I still can’t get used to the idea of a suit without socks, but what do I know! Lol

      Only certain suits work that way, IMO. And they all tend to be in summer fabrics.

    So what is a "solaro" fabric called when it's not officially solaro?

    Love the content as usual, but the thumbnails in recent videos gave me a heavy alpha m or RMRS vibe which I don't like.

      If you're already a He Spoke Style subscriber, you're probably not the target of those thumbnails. Appreciate the content of the videos (which have not changed in quality), and let the man attract more people to the channel via his clickbait-y thumbnails. Don't knock the hustle.

    First off I have to appreciate how much you showcase brown as a menswear color it's one of my favorites and I appreciate it. That being said your pronounce pitti is a little painful. That's literally the only complaint I have with your whole channel though

    Oh come on, you wore oxford cloth with it. This is not summer tailoring, this is spring tailoring with a hat, no socks, and sunglasses. Wear a linen blend or a tropical wool in the summer.
