Hello ma’am. Good evening ma. Please l just moved into Canada just last month. I had already done the WES results evaluation long before coming but it wasn’t via the ICAN like you mentioned.What should I do
If you are looking at going through the teachers certification process, it is best to look on the website of the teachers board in your province to confirm. If you did the basic WES assessment, you will need to request a new report using the ICAP. Since WES already has your transcripts on file, you may not need to order new transcripts. All the best!

This process is for all foreign trained professionals, you will need to get your credentials assessed to determine what the next step in the certification process will be for you. Some extra courses will be needed no doubt, but the assessment report will provide a clearer picture. I am not sure this can be done from outside Canada.

I don't think they request for it in private. But in public sector the y request for it, especially during promotion exercise. It would improve the quality of education in Nigeria,if stressed.

Very detailed and it sounds like a lot but it is better to do it the right way. Evaluating certifications helps you so you that start all over and just waste your time.

You will have to contact the teachers board in the province you want to practice in. There is still a registration process, you may not have to go through the international assessment except you are referencing the education or experience from a different country.
It is hard to answer that. The link in the description will give you an idea of how it is Sadkatchewan so you can do a tough estimate. Not sure about other provinces

Is the person comingbas a PR or as an international student? As a PR, you will not need the wes evaluation you will still apply to be board for the license and your transcripts will be sent directly to them without the evaluation.

If you finish a college in Canada in education related fields you don’t need an evaluation of your previous degree and it’s easier to get the certificate right?
If you are going to apply using previous experience, then you will need credential assessment and a letter of good standing from the teachers board of the country you had the experience in. But if yo are starting afresh with only the education you got in Canada, then previous credential evaluation may not apply

The parts that will be taken out will be the evaluation of credentials. You will only need to register with the teachers board and apply for the certification when you are done.
Yes they do o, a lot of mums I know in Nigeria pack extra food so their kids will have some food to eat at least. Teachers are so not well taken care of so the kids suffer. It is sad but true.

This is not a pathway for immigration. You must already be in or on your way to Canada with legal status to work before you can do this.

To teach in SK, you need the license and you have to go through the process to get the license.
Then how do I get mam? If i do any course? Is it possible to do from india or only in Canada?
Hey Mariana, please suggest me if I have to apply for certification to SPTRB before I apply for PNP or only after landing there.
This process as i know it applies to PR and citizens. I am not sure you can do it before applying for PNP.

Yes they do o, a lot of mums I know in Nigeria pack extra food so their kids will have some food to eat at least. Teachers are so not well taken care of so the kids suffer. It is sad but true.

I have talked about the HR certification pathway. You can get a job in almost all the provinces depending on your network and how you go about the job search.
