Anthony Green always deserves it. he is the vocalist, man, this is is incredible. Circa never dissapoints. By the way Anthony is a really great and good dude, so dow to earth...
This band transcends to art form. It's not overly complex with the playing. It's not in your face with the presentation. This is music that calls you back to find something new to get lost in with every listen. It's like intuition and the spiral of enigmatic thought in musical form. The guitars are binaural and create a meandering wax-and-wane in each ear. The drums and bass sort of stumble around, keeping it all grounded. The vocals are really used as more of an instrument in calling where the emotional connections tilt toward- like a siren. All of this working together is the key to what makes this music so hypnotic. Just lose the world and cycle through it. That's Circa Survive's first two albums. This work was that sharp breath of air you hear expelled as you watch someone you love die. The next album was the process of grief afterwards. I come back and feel cathartic every now and then. Would really enjoy to watch you do 'On Letting Go' in its entirety. 👍
I saw In Fear and Faith and was really excited because I thought you were finally listening to the band In Fear and Faith that I've been suggesting since May 2020 but it is just the song they took their name from. Please listen to The Road To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions by In Fear And Faith, it has guest vocals from Craig Owens the singer of Chiodos. And nothing against this song it is good and something you should listen too.
the 1st one I got to know was the band Saosin with Anthony singing "Seven Years", fell in love with the band and after that when Anthony went to Circa Survive, I loved it even more because of its peculiarities on the songs/albums
Yeah same vocalist from the new track Also the original vocalist of Saosin with the EP Translating the Name, and now he’s been back in Saosin as well since 2014 (only one album and reworked old singles since)
2 years late, but the bassist Nick Beard sings backup vocals for them live and in studio. sings in the same register as Anthony too, he lays down incredibleee harmonies
An amazing album this is!!! Would reccomend Stop The Fc*king Car off this album and you need to listen to The Difference Between Medicine and Poison Is In The Dose off 2007s On Letting Go which is my personal favorite album of theirs
Hell yeah, gotta love Circa ❤️. Same lead singer as the other video, no band members have changed in this one. Nick Beard (bassist) does some backing vocals, otherwise it’s just Anthony layering. And Anthony was in Saosin for some of the songs you have heard, he left to go home and make this band right after Saosin’s first tour but they’re back on good terms and made an album together even. Not a lot of other collaborations throughout here tbh, lots of other bands are fans of them and vice versa. Colin (one of the guitarists) did the cover art for Sianvar’s Stay Lost. I’m not sure if that’s him or Brendan (other guitarist) playing with that effect but I think the keyboard you’re hearing is actually a guitar. They’re a fun group, I’ve heard them jokingly call themselves psychedelic rock and I think that describes them really well. I’d suggest Child of the Desert or Birth of the Economic Hitman, a little further in their catalog (albums 5 and 4 of 6) where I think they really nail their sound/style. Also their cover art is spectacular, shout out to Esao Andrews ❤️
the same singer all the way through, he was also the lead singer for saosin for like less than a year, and in a few other bands but he is amazing, you should listen to more circa survive, possibly react to him live because he is crazy
Anthony Green always deserves it. he is the vocalist, man, this is is incredible. Circa never dissapoints. By the way Anthony is a really great and good dude, so dow to earth...
Anthony Green has the absurd vocals, clean light and clean loud…very different
Love old school Circa. Anthony Greens vocals are so distinctive.

This is my SHiiiii! Only concert I've been to was a Circa Survive concert and it was amazing.
Mine too! AG 's energy live is crazy
Loved this album when I first heard it after downloading off Limewire back in the day lol
Only Difference between medicine and poison is in the dose is a must listen
One of the most precious albums to ever exist. 💜

Yesss thank you dude! Such a good song.
That opening drum rhythm is sooooo good
They are the kings of Aesthetic
love ur reactions!
This album, blue sky noise and on letting go are fucking amazing. I’m so down to go through the circa rabbit hole with you and everyone else!
Great album. So many great songs. This is one of my favorites
Yeah same vocalist from the new track Also the original vocalist of Saosin with the EP Translating the Name, and now he’s been back in Saosin as well since 2014 (only one album and reworked old singles since)
Don't forget the sound of animals fighting, at least the tiger and the Duke album is absolutely incredible
Love to see someone reacting to circa there's so many good songs super underrated band with a rabid following
Gets my sub dude
I love Circa Survive so much, they don't have bad music. Certainly Circa Survive and Dance Gavin Dance are the best post hardcore bands
Thank you. I'm glad you listen buddy
Thank you so much for this. Circa Survive has only one vocalist Anthony Green
2 years late, but the bassist Nick Beard sings backup vocals for them live and in studio. sings in the same register as Anthony too, he lays down incredibleee harmonies
This album is gold. Came out 2005 btw
Great song choice
If you wanna hear some heavy Anthony Green vocals you should hear what he did with The Sounds of Animals Fighting.
Another great song is “the difference between medicine and poison is in the dose”

havent heard this one in so long!

This gives me Dance Gavin Dance energy but his vocals are so sweet and strong 💕
2:47 That's Circa Survive baby
YES FINALLY
Honestly I feel like you should react to this whole album. It's amazing.
yes
Agreed, this album is perfect from start to finish. Just fantastic all around
Anthony Green has always fronted Circa survive was also the OG vox for Saosin, left them to form circa but came back to saosin later
Hi Chris. You've been doing this for a while now. Can we get a top 10 of your favourite bands that you've reacted to in a video review??
I will probably be doing something like this toward the end of the year!
If I remember correctly, this album was inspired by the movie Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.
It is and it makes perfect sense because i did not understand that movie at all and this whole album i have no idea what anthony was talking about 🤣🤣🤣
Nick Beard on bass and backing vocals. Anthony Green is my world, but Nick Beard is the backbone of the band.
Juturna is amazing
the same singer all the way through, he was also the lead singer for saosin for like less than a year, and in a few other bands but he is amazing, you should listen to more circa survive, possibly react to him live because he is crazy
This is off the album JUTURNA! Please react to the whole album😊
Imminence - Heaven and Hiding AOTY!!! 2021
And yes it’s only one vocalist Anthony green but they do lots of layering. Not as much as dgd though lol
bro you gotta listen to Jaturna album in its entirely
Bro, Can You React On Circa Survive - Phantom?)
One of the best albums of all time.
City and colour
Same lineup since the very beginning
Glad you finally are exposing yourself to this.
@@danielmikesell1510 wtf are you even talking about
One of the bands that started it all, this whole album is nostalgic.
