It shows their different experiences with their sexuality. Dan's internalized homophobia was horrible and he was bullied majorly and Phil was just there :) He also wanted to not override Dan's video because it was an important moment :) (sorry its literally almost a year since your comment i just felt like responding)
Also, it's Phil. He's full of sunshine, I love him for that, but I bet it was worse than he let on. For both of them, it was good that they have moved on, that it's mostly a memory, and that they have messages of hope.

When I told my mom, "I think I'm bisexual" She said, "questioning?" And then I said I didn't know- And then she said, "well whatever you are. I'll love you no matter what" That made me feel awkward but glad. Idk what I am now but I'm wondering what my dad would think of everything
I hope this reaches you with a now accepting father. As a father myself, I could not imagine ever loving my son less because is something like his sexuality, or anything. It is hard for many fathers, your son is there to carry your line, your daughter to do the same, but even that can be handled. Honestly, the only thing about it that would scare me and worry me is knowing the crap he would need to be able to endure because of the stigma attached to bring not straight. As a father it is our job to protect our children from anyone or anything intending them harm, but it is really hard for is to protect you from hate
My immediate thought was that you are you and you don't need a label. When you fall in love, or just gets attracted to someone, it is with an individual and that other person's gender really shouldn't be of any importance. Chemistry and love between people don't see gender!

I literally came out to my dad by accident. I was talking to my friends, and literally my dad heard me, but my dad really cared and was super sweet.

Hate to tell you, but that bigotry is still in schools. Yes it's a lot better, but still there. I've realized it's mainly directed towards trans people.
I love these two. I'm bisexual and for the longest time I pretended to be straight. Growing up in a Christian household was hard on me when it came to my sexuality. It still is. Nothing hurt more than "friends" finding out I was bi and then turning their backs on me. Yes I currently have a boyfriend but when people ask I proudly say I'm bi and it's because of those influencers like Eugene and Dan. People who are openly LGBTQ+ in media or openly support it make me more comfortable with myself.

i’m not even apart of the LGBTQ+ community and this made me cry. if anyone’s seeing this, you’re loved. don’t ever feel that you aren’t good enough. and don’t let someone pressure u into coming out until you’re ready.

I cried the first time i saw Eugene's video. I didn't fully understand it, but it just made me so sad to think that people aren't being accepted for who they love. When i discovered the meaning behind each scene, i was sobbing. It has so much meaning in one, short video.

Ok so it took me the whole episode for me to realize the older women was trans I just didn't think about it🤷♀️ so I got a bit confused and the it hit me her daughter's call her mom at first I just thought "why wouldn't they" then I was like "OH SHES TRANS that makes sense" like it probably shouldn't of been that big of a realization but she started talking about the trans community later in the video and it hit me so thought I would share me being silly😂

I am very lucky that my mother has kissed her fair share of girls back in her day. So basically me coming out at like... 12 after realizing I liked a girl on the internet she was just like "ok cool"
