Yep M4A3E8 SHERMAN is the 1/35 scale model. The Sherman Firefly ( Fury )was a medium tank used by the United Kingdom and some armoured formations of other Allies in the Second World War. It was based on the US M4 Sherman but was fitted with the more powerful British 76.2 mm (3.00 in) calibre 17-pounder anti-tank gun as its main weapon. Conceived as a stopgap until future British tank designs came into service, the Sherman Firefly became the most common vehicle mounting the 17-pounder in the war.
@@andybud08it’s not a firefly, the firefly was a British modification to M4A2 and M4A4s supplied through lend lease that had a 17 pounder gun shoved into the preexisting turret. This is an M4A3E8, the American upgunned version, using an M1 76 mm gun in the new T23 turret, mounted on an M4A3 hull equipped with HVSS suspension. Two different big gun Sherman’s. The actual vehicle owned by Bovington shown in the film is an M4A2E8 though, basically the same thing but built with the M4A2 hull configuration and made for lend lease to the Soviets.
