You know what is interesting is that they kind of skipped over that. Archer and Trunel both know that Seamus isn't archers son yet they never touched on that considering it was the main focus of an entire episode.

He's meant to be the straight man (along with Lana) in a team of loons. He's spot on.
And Ray, he is also a straight man.
Lana's been depicted as a different kind of crazy since the start. Seems normalish, buuuut she's nuts.

Season 11 ruined him by making him stronger than Archer, Season 12 ruined him by making him weaker than Archer.
So wether they're making him stronger or weaker than Archer, they can't find a way to make him as funny as they did in previous seasons
I think they did as a means of proving something.
Without archer everyone was able to improve themselves.
However in season 12, they proved that they never truly changed and that Archer was never the cause of it. They just blamed him for everything bc (minus pam and Sheryl) they're all horrible people.
I mean look how quickly they regressed once Archer showed up after he woke up from his coma.

@@claudiorigli6833 Malory kind of stayed the same and so did Ray. But Lana definitely. She settled. Simple as that.
She pretty much turned into Mallory which I couldn't stand. Everything Archer told Lana and the gang about his childhood Lana did the same thing
She kept Archers identity as AJs father from her, which BTW she's bound to figure it out sooner or later, she's a smart kid.
Second Lana shipped her off the boarding school.
Third she married Robert for his money. Why else would you marry someone that old when you're that young if the guy in question wasn't loaded?

@@commentateur-connaisseur-c1414 Cheryl’s the worst as a character. Aside from being rich, she has no definitive personal traits that can’t be folded into either Krieger (crazy/psychotic) or Pam (stupid). She literally just exists as a stock ‘kooky character’ that creates problems for everyone else, but doesn’t solve them. Cheryl has to be able to occasionally provide a solution to some of the gangs issues, but all she does is exacerbate them.
