You should have made your headline as Top 5 most expensive private universities in Ghana and Nigeria though. But also note that,in Ghana most people who normally goes to those private universities are the ones who were rejected because of their grades by public universities. You easily get a job with public university certificate in Ghana than perivate ones. We cherish the public educational institutions more than the private ones because of the standard raised there over the years.

With the exception of Lancaster, Academic City, and Aseshi, which are as competitive as our public universities. I there say Aseshi is more competitive than our public universities and even more stringent. It recruits from all over Africa (has students from more than 40 students from Africa and even the US). More than 50% of the students are on financial aid. The university has a foundation that raises funds. Contributors include Mastercard Foundation, Microsoft, Google, the World Bank, and private individuals and abroad. Mastercard alone funds about 600 students. Aseshi rejects students who can pay and have good grades but accept disadvantaged students with lesser grades because it takes circumstances and potential impact into consideration. I may be wrong about the other two, but I am very certain about Aseshi.
@@Frank-Bediko62And about 95% of their graduates get job placement after graduation. If you attend Ashesi your job prospect is guaranteed and secured.
@AtoKwamena You are very right. But want to make a little input. These days, people go to private universities/SHSs not only because of their grades not being strong. But choice also count. Some people have passed very well, but prefer and choose to go to Private universities/SHSs. Tnx.
Ashesi is changing all that.
With an Ashesi degree in IT it's easy to land a job in Apple or Google in the USA.
In area of Private university, I give it up to the Giant of Africa, especially, when it comes to school infrastures. Their infrastures are way more advanced. Kudos to the founders of these schools which most of them are Nigerians. Another Private university in Nigeria which must surely be among the top 10 private universities in Nigeria is Adeleke University, a private school founded by Chief Adedeji Adeleke. It very huge with high level infrasture. Seriously speaking, Private Unis in Nigeria are doing exceedingly well in my opinion. Well done y'all!

GHANA has changed the curriculums that they can do less secondary school years and branch into skills they are endowed with by God like artisanal work in polytechnics whilst the rest go to university.

THE BEST ADVISE IS TO DIVIDE NIGERIAN IN THREE PARTS,HAUSER LAND,BIAFRA IGBOS LAND AND YUROBA , CAN BE PEACE .NIGERIAN WAS CREATED BY THE BRITISH WITHOUT THE INDIGENES CONCERT AND THEY NAME IT, NIGER AREA(NIGERIAN),IT'S ABOUT TIME THEY FORMED THEIR OWN COUNTRIES AND CREATES THEIR OWN NAMES
Private education is expensive everywhere in the world . In Ghana private universities are not that popular because of the government ones I don’t know about Nigeria . I think people mindset has to change where everything Africa is inferior that’s my opinion

The government universities in Ghana are equally good people do go to private when they don’t get their required subjects to read.

We Ghanaians always give back to our school so excuse you our schools always have a back up and development from old students and communities and little support from the government maybe in your country they don't do that but don't say what Nigerians are not doing and say the same as Ghana can't you see we are moving forward and don't care about universities Nigerian have our in improvement is to get a standard equipment for our generation because our good citizens are more then our bad ones and they always known they can not win when they steal so like you said your country people need to do better with the money they saying they have all citizens should start fixing their front roads by communities duty to patch the put holes and every one passes there should donate that's how you start fixing your country that's how we as citizens of Ama Ghana we started from and then the politicians and government comes in because even if you are a Governor and you stay there and we are patching the holes we will tell you as it is by not helping the communities plain and fair so see refer some of your comparison of attaching some things that your government are doing ours are far different from yours thank you
