Great video. Would have been good if the ribbon cables had been clearly shown to disconnect. Iv managed to pull the whole terminal away from the motherboard, as I didn't know how fragile they were. I hope it doesn't cost the earth to repair.

Ok so I need advice... See the pioneer ddj-1000, well on the mixer where the clear screen shows you what beat fx your using... Yeah that clear screen is broken.. and wondering if that's an easy fix. And what part would I need?
You need to be more specific. There are several models of 1000. Can you post a link from a retailer with your version? Or just download the (service) not user manual if you can find it. There should be somewhat detailed disassembly steps in there that will help you narrow down what part is bad or what you need to do. If you mean the digital display inside the jog wheels that is most likely a part within a part. On my DDJ-SX2 there is a central electrical display inside a larger housing. Part # 29 in this diagram. Upper left hand side. instrumentalparts.com/content/pdf/ddjsx2.pdf You need to find the ddj-1000 version of that picture, find your damaged part and replace it if it isn't caused by something else. Otherwise your just guessing and maybe it's that part maybe it isn't. At least find the parts diagram though. That should help.
@@djluminol thank you for your reply it would be much easier of I could send a picture .. the manual for the ddj-1000 manualsfile.com/product/m4l3swnud.html and it's the mixer... @@stephaniefraser8574 Oh ok I see what you mean. If everything but that screen works than it seems likely its the screen that's broken. If the FX sections electronics were bad the FX would be dead and the screen would probably as well. Also the Unit may not even turn on. I'd bet if you replace the screen it will fix you issue. Although pay someone if your a novice. The insides are very complicated. I've taken mine apart three times and still fucked up and had to come here for a quick look at how to put it back together.
