I have owned a 2009 330i LCI sedan for 13 years and in this time I have had to replace: cylinder head cover and oil pan gaskets due to oil leaks 6 ignition coils, 12 ignition plugs, 9 fuel injectors, 1 NOx sensor due to engine misbehaving during idle or acceleration 2 new springs at front, all 4 shock absorbers due to one spring at front breaking 1 new battery due to original battery losing power. Original battery lasted from 2009 to 2024. Changing all 6 injectors cost 4100 euros. 1 NOx sensor cost 670 euros.
Great review , im driving an Audi a4 2007 S line 2.0 tdi with 170hp 125kw version , i like the speed of the audi , but the looks of bmw are way better , i also own a 320d n47 2007 too , but im looking to get a 330i like this one but im kinda bit worried about the fuel consumption since i do a lot of urban driving i dont want that to eat my earnings lol
I have an 06 330i N52 B30 with 70k miles on it. Always garaged and serviced by the dealer.. Purrs like a kitten... The only code is the battery in the alarm level sensor is dead.. This car will live on another 20 years into Classic car territory..
I completely agree. They were exceptionally well made and have already stood the test of time. I hope to keep hold of mine too so that it becomes something special in the sea of electric cars (white goods?) that everybody else seems to be driving these days.
The fuel economy in the city is high 20's/low 30's, but it can drop if you are doing lots of stop/start driving in traffic. If you drive quickly and flick into drive sport mode, then MPG drops to around 24 mpg. On the highway (or motorway in UK), you are looking at mid to high 30's. I have also seen 40mpg with some consistent slow speed driving. On average I would say for combined driving you are looking at 32 - 33 mpg.
I have a 08 125i coupe (3L N52), it's been the most unreliable BMW I've ever owned (out of E46, E39 & E82). When it's running right, it's a terrific car for both daily duties and a blast on backroads.

Great car, I have an 06 330i 6MT with 204,000 miles.
204000 miles is a great milestone. Further proof of how great this big old engine is, and how great the e90 chassis was.
@@aamersandoo agreed!
It is to my knowledge the only straight 6 naturally aspirated with variable valve lift
I have a june 05 build 330i it's a terrific daily.
Completely agree - they make the perfect daily.
How is fuel economy for you?
@@lawrencem8022 my car is overcooling as a result avg fuel is 10.3 l/100km. Normally you can get around 600km to a full tank mixed driving conditions.

Thanks for the informative video. What's the fuel economy in city and highway when you drive normally?

2008? 3.0 in a 125i? I think what you have its an N53 engine, wich is an other story...
The N52 is one of the best engines of BMW
@@mohi_e92 nah it’s definitely n52, Australia based.
@@Rider_Tom dude the n52b30 is a 130, there is no 125i 3.0 n52
