I dried yarrow flowers for tea, it tasted so bad/ strong I was afraid to drink it. My fatty liver is stage 4 and I’m not sure it would like that strong flavor,, any advice? I also have some leaves soaking in alcohol, one with young leaves only, the other with bigger leaves. I also have just a jar of the entire plant, my first time doing this.
I’ve watched like 10 videos and I still can’t do hemlock vs yarrow. People need to zoom in more and go step by step going back and forth with the comparison and some mnemonic to make it stick
Good question! Everything I've read says to stick to the wild varieties. My guess would be that most ornamental varieties have the same or similar uses, but it's hard to say for certain. Therefore, just sticking to the wild varieties is safer. Of course, yarrow that is planted by humans but is the same exact species as one found in the wild is safe to use.

Yes, I've heard of it used for that purpose too! Though in my experience the herbal bug repellants never work that well :/
best mosquito repellant is the immitation vanilla extract. I use it straight and just spritz it everywhere...truely works!
