they drink the hallucinagetic water from the cups--caps-- once the cap has turned to a cup... oh my my.. not NOT for beginners.. happy trails. u look like a healthy me, livingmy dreams, happy hunting, and safe trails
😂 I did exactly that with a baby beefsteak I found last week too… built a little shack around it to hide it from passers by. I’ve already checked and he’s grown in size and multiplied 👌🏽.
From a foraging pov probably doesn't matter, but your Xerocomus chrysenteron probably isn't, they are almost entirely confined to coniferous woodland and quite rare. More likely Xerocomus cisalpinus which occurs with Oak.
Lovely video! I've just been on a day's mushroom foraging workshop so it's great to see what other people are finding so I can keep learning! Thanks so much for sharing 😊
I would absolutely love to be able to forage mushrooms, i recently walked the Speyside Way and it was LITTERED with all types. Is there a general rule of thumbs for identifying edibles? Also, is there a best time in every season to forage? Thanks for the video..
