Как они это делали?
Просто. Боевой комплект в самолёте МиГ-15 был большой, а пушки имели очень большой калибр. Одного попадания из любой из трех пушек, длительностью 0,5 сек. было достаточно что бы уничтожить Боинг-29.

the NK airforce was shit, and the good pilots for NK in Korean War were Russians and Chinese, bu there were a few NK pilots, all trained by Chinese and Russians

To be fair, up until 1980s DPRK had higher standard of living than South Korea, and South Korea was not a democracy whatsoever, it was neocolonial military dictatorship. (Since 1990s, South Korea, however, greatly advanced in economics and even now is some sort of "democracy", though it is still nothing like actual democracy.)

To explain the gear problem (unless someone did all ready), most modernish landing gear systems are designed with mechanical or hydraulic locks: downlocks to keep the gear mechanically locked when extended, and uplocks to hold the gear in place when retracted. These are usually overcome by a series of switches, valves and small servos in a certain order and controlled by the electrical and hydraulics systems. It seems the emergency extend pressure was the valves, and the handles appear to be mechanical overrides for the doors and uplocks. As soon as the uplock is overcome the gas pressure and gravity do the rest of the work for you!
Modern aircraft have the emergency extension system usually integrated into one lever. For instance on the Hornet you put the gear handle down, twist (can't remember which direction, clockwise I think, it only goes one way) and pull it out and it shuttles the pressure from the APU Accumulator (charged with 1,000 psi of nitrogen and hand pumped hydraulicly to 3,000 psi, or if Engine 2 is running it bleeds hydraulic pressure to keep the accumulator topped off around 3,000) into the landing gear system and opens the doors, overrides the uplocks and pushes the gear out with gravity assistance.

The video is good! But i think the recharge of cannons has to be after launch of engine, cause it works with air pressure and needs a working compressor! And you use wrong tactic to attack armed bomber! You must approach to him much faster like an eagle from top-back left(right) angle and attack him so quick to not let the turrets shoot to you! If you on his tail - you are crazy camicadze! So... sorry for critics and good luck!

The mutil-player community is actually not that bad with DCS. It's very possible to fight against couple Sabres controlled by real players with your Mig15.
I personally don't play online much because #1 I suck, and I also have some bad connection issue using wifi.

+TDollars805 The schooling machines had only 12.7 mm that's correct but the fighter machines were equipped with a 37mm canon in the middle and two 20 mm canons on the sides - each with 80 shots

I love the Mig 15. When I wuzza kid my Old Man took me to the airport to see a damaged Mig 15 an old Air Force buddy had bought 'n wuz repairin' for personal use. He had flown against them in "Mig Alley" 'n always wanted one for himself. I gotta climb up 'n take a look inside the cockpit. It wuz magical.

Games like this should be n1 for virtual reality so you can just look on the sides and use your hands. At the same time you dont have the movement problem as you probably sit on a chair when playing. Would be awesome and attract alot of players i think.

If it's a B29 it doesn't have 20 mils it has 50 Cal's. Soviet TU 4 on the other hand which is a copy of B29 does have 20's

Great video. Looks like a fun little aircraft, may have to look into this module in the near future. And I had idea there was a B-29 mod, should be very useful as DCS needed more AI bombers.

Hey im new to sim games and really want to start getting into them and get really good at flying them. I dont know much about computers but i have a HP pavilion with radeon AMD graphics and seem to be having a bad experience with this game. Glitches out and freezes and is slow with commands on entering keys to do things like radar and stuff like that, can anyone help me out with a good laptop or desktop computer that will help me have a much better experience and to run more smoothly i have a saitek x-55 pro joystick also just need a good system to run the game on and have no idea what im doing lol
+MyMilo777 Usually for games like this, you should go with custom build gaming desktop instead of factory model from various pc companies. Try going to your local pc store, and ask for help. They usually are super friendly :D Hope you find a good rig and have fun with the sim.
b29s never had multiple "gunpods" a early variant had a single 20mm cannon in a turret with the rest of the turrets were .50 cals......later b29 variants were strictly .50 cals
Do you prefer the Sabre or the Mig? If you had to fly online in a 1v1 dogfight against someone, assuming co-alt and a head on merge, which would you feel more comfortable fighting in?

Great video. Those 50 cal. Guns from the b-29 made it impossible to attack from the side. I thought they had guns in the rear also but u seemed fairly safe on the b-29’s 6 o clock. Nice shooting and landing

Initially they were designed with a M2 20mm and 2 M2 .50 HMG's in the tail position, but he cannon was later removed and sometimes replaced with a 3rd .50.

IIRC, some of the B-29 models had 20mm cannons. The Tu-4, aka Soviet B-29 ripoff, had 10x 23mm cannons. Correct me if I'm wrong.

In world war 2 the B-29 was the best bomber no Japanese fighters could reach in the Korean war it was still an awesome bombers but becoming obsolete but still could handle her own against high speed dog fighters
B-29 was a formidable bomber, but it wasn’t invincible. Decent number of them were shot down by Japanese single/twin fighters.
I'm looking at you clicking switched all over the place and I often explode before I enter the runway :D
When I get the money, I will enjoy the hell out of this mod.
Use you higher speed, when attacking those bombers...you made it kind of easy for their gunners...
True, looking back it's really a terrible approach. The main reason is though, the bomber AI is very unique compared to let's say, il2 1946. They try to head on with you with the fighter script, rather than form up and fly in a straight line.
The B-29 doesn't have 20mm guns. Only .50 Cals. The TU-4 has the 23mm cannons.
It has a rearwards mounted 20 mm, rest are fifties. And the 20 mm was ofcourse not in every model

i think You forget to turn on pitot heat, that's why you can not see your airspeed speed.

My apologies if this question has already been asked. In the upper left of your instrument panel, there is a gauge that looks like an eye opening & closing (continuously going from black to white). What is that for? Thanks ahead of time to anyone for asking. This is the first time that I have watched any Mig-15 footage.
btw: this was episode was great!
My understanding is that indicates the oxygen flow. As you know, there is less oxygen up in the air, so a plane needs to supply oxygen into the cockpit.
