Prices are competitive with those stateside. The surgeries listed seem consistent with what Asians would want. So myself, I would stay stateside for what I would be after, which is not anything listed😀, and not pay the travel expenses of going to the Orient, not that I wouldn’t mind visiting and vacationing there, but for complications and follow up care it’s a lot easier if you live near your surgeon!

I have one person who has had plastic surgery around me, and what is certain is that the negative perception of plastic surgery of koreans is not as severe as in other countries. Also, as the plastic surgery technique is excellent, I think advanced facial reconstruction surgery is a good treatment for patients who have been caught in fire or accident.

Now I know where this obsession with surgery in Thailand comes from. My girlfriend, i met her 6 months ago, talks about surgery for her face all the time. And she is absolutely pretty already, a surgery would just take away her uniqueness. Some of her friends have surgery and they all have limited facial expressions and look very similar. I don't like it at all. I have to get this out of her head somehow, but I assume there is also social pressure. If you don't look a certain way, they will tell you that you are ugly.
Surgery won’t limit face movement, that’s probably Botox injections. The worse thing I think Thai girls do to their face is the pinched nose in my opinion. Lots of non surgical things to do to improve skin and tone on the face like HIFU home ‘face lift’ machine for 1,000b from Lazada.
Thai girls don’t need it, some just want to be perfect, but not all are into it because they are natural beauty. There are many Asian nationals that living in Thailand with no Thai blood that have $$$$ and can afford all this. But if plastic makes them happy then why not..? The thing is to enhance your natural beauty and not changed your face that you totally don’t look like “ You” anymore.

I wrote an essay on medical tourism about four years ago. I knew it was a big thing back then and figured it was going to get bigger. Good reporting. Hope to visit Thailand next year. Looking for job opportunities and if I could get my foot in the door in this industry that is also happening in Thailand, it would make my professors proud. By the way Chris, the tradgedy in Thailand recently shook me up. That was the last country I could have imagined to go through something so horrific. 한국에서 강남도 유명하지만, 노원구 중계동 쪽에도 정말 좋은 병원들이 많죠. 가격이 매우 합리적인곳이 많습니다. 서울 이외에 부산의 서면도 유명합니다. 대구에는 전통적으로 미녀가 많이 살죠. 아예 블랙핑크의 제니 사진을 들고가서 똑같이 수술시계달라고 요구할수도 있죠. 영상에서 가슴 수술이 15000 달러쯤이라고 하는데. 5000달러 정도도 충분히 만족할만한 병원도 많습니다. 문론 숙박등은 불포함 이겠지만요.

It’s actually cheap compared to singapore. Singaporean plastic surgeons are good at price gouging. And they may not have the same skills as Korean doctors. Some clinics in singapore also tout their training with Korean doctors lol!

On the flip side if something goes wrong with your surgery there they will try their best to cover it up, with the help of the government and there is nothing you can really do about it.
Why not? If you can afford it and it will increase your mental health and boost your confidence go for it. However if you are in a relationship you should tell your partner on the get go so there will not be a misunderstanding in the future.

It's not that Koreans do the most surgeries, but most of the customers are foreigners. The industry is big and the consumer is different. Because Korea is strong in this field, not many Koreans do it. And most of the people who have surgery are about double eyelid surgery. Do not misunderstand.

I think you find my country Iran is the capital of plastic surgery, Korea is no.1 for men tho. In Iran is mainly nose jobs as Persians and Arabs have larger noses naturally but it's sad and disgusting, often men pushing there women into doing it 80% of the time

Not really. I had double eyelid surgery done. I look more alert & photogenic now. I’ve never put on makeup before even when I had single eyelids. Single eyelid only looks good with makeup. I went for the surgery cos I don’t like to put on makeup. I’m lazy and low-maintenance.. I’ve always hated my single eyelids that look like I’m not fully awake.

I think you find my country Iran is the capital of plastic surgery, Korea is no.1 for men tho. In Iran is mainly nose jobs as Persians and Arabs have larger noses naturally but it's sad and disgusting, often men pushing there women into doing it 80% of the time

Not really. I had double eyelid surgery done. I look more alert & photogenic now. I’ve never put on makeup before even when I had single eyelids. Single eyelid only looks good with makeup. I went for the surgery cos I don’t like to put on makeup. I’m lazy and low-maintenance.. I’ve always hated my single eyelids that look like I’m not fully awake.
Jk is the one I heard is good for facelift, do you know anything about or head anything about this jk plastic surgery???
