Finally someone explains the runways. This confused the crap out of me and no one explained it but you. THANK YOU!

Thanks. It took me a very long time to figure it out. Unfortunately, I was using my mouse as a pointer throughout the video to help explain not realizing it was not showing up. Best of luck on the test and hope you subscribe.

I just found the answer to my question in the or house comments. Thank you!

This is helping me solidify the content I've been studying. This recap is great - and the updates are super helpful, as I spent a few nonchalant weeks digging for any "extras". These keywords make a lot of sense after watching a lot of Mr. Miggs and Kats Buzz Channels. I noticed the registration portal has changed, thanks for mention. As a coffee lover, I'll be sending you coffee soon. ☕☕☕

I appreciate it. I wanted to get people through the key areas then point them to the real experts for the rest. I don't see a need to pay for course material when there is so much out there. People just need to have a clearer path to get the "right" information. Best of luck on the test. Feel free to comment after the test and let me know areas I might have missed.

You're welcome. Learn the flashcard info, all of the weather report pages from the book, and sectional maps and you'll be fine.

Great Video. I have been studying for about a week now and will be taking my test tomorrow (Jan 04 24). I really appreciated how you illustrated the information. It was very helpful. I think the only thing I would like to have had you review would have been the weather ( for some reason I'm struggling with that). Otherwise It appears I should at least pass. This was a real confidence booster. Thanks!

Thanks and Good Luck! I had zero knowledge the week before my test. Several things like pressure and weather are counter-intuitive, so I struggled also.

Helpful video to a point. I find the discussion on Center of gravity confusing. My understanding of stall speed is the speed at which the plane stops flying. A lower stall speed is a good thing in that you can go slower before it stalls. A higher stall speed means you have to keep speed up to prevent a stall. It would seem that a forward cg (high stall speed) will stall before a lower cg(low stall speed). Based on stall speed alone, my thinking is forward CG is more likely to cause a stall.

Thanks for the input. I find several things confusing because the terms that are used, like weather terms.
Forward CG: More stable, more drag, higher stall speed, good stall recovery
Aft CG: less stable, less drag, lower stall speed, bad stall recovery

Who do you contact at a military installation to take the test? Thank you for this video!

Great. Good luck with the test. Check out the second video I did with just an updated set of Flashcards. I think it is the fastest and easiest way to memorize the basic information.

Where can I find out about the free test for military? Thank you. Great video. 😊

Thanks. I had the slide that showed who qualified. When you log onto PSI to locate a testing facility, it will have any military bases that test with PSI. Mine was a Coast Guard Testing Center in Mobile, AL. Between registering my drone and all the certifications, I'm only out $5. Best of Luck!

@@JustChasingWaterfalls I have not registered for my test yet. You are the first to mention free tests. I will be on the lookout. Thank you

@@batmasterson7091 When you go to sign up for the test, it will ask you how far away from your location to look for testing facilities. I think if you increase the search area more and more, you can locate the nearest one. The military ones will likely be on the bottom of the page without a way to sign up. You have to call them for a test time. This was the case for me. (Mobile, AL)

    • @JustChasingWaterfalls
      @JustChasingWaterfalls  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

I just printed it from the web. If you're going to take the test, you should get comfortable with where everything is in the book. Like I said in the other comment, the two pages with weather...know those pages very well. 2-12 and 2-15
