My impression is that this person is reading from online sources directly, instead of interpreting it using his own thoughts and words. It would sound a lot more natural if he would stop reading directly and would give his notes the ELI5 treatment.

@@phoeshin literally almost channel is for money. And "New Channel"?? Don't see a problem with that. He just created a channel?? And "Only Iceberg Content".. That's literally just the content he makes. I get it feeling rushed because of his pronunciations, But your other criticisms are just wrong.
"Incinsere sounding "thank you for 50k",
Literally just listen to what you're saying. You literally just said "Sounding", That just means the way it sounded was incinsere, Doesn't mean that it actually is.
"Low effort", My guy, He ain't Mr.Beast 😭.
Mr.Beast has like, Ruined TH-cam for anyone. Because he created the stereotype of all TH-camrs must have insane editing. Like Snooks just putting images on the screen and playing music. You don't really need much editing to create an Iceberg video dude.
And even then, The mis-pronunciations are probably just him not really being able to pronounce the actual word. Just because he mis-pronounces words, Doesn't automatically mean it's rushed.
Him talking for more than 20-ish minutes, music loop, doing a bunch of research, finding good and interesting images of the topic, PUTTING THE IMAGE ON THE LOOP MOVING WATER BACKGROUND, ACTUALLY TRYING TO UPLOAD THE VIDEO, ETC.
Like do you get what I'm saying here? He mis-pronounces shit, sure, I get that can be annoying, But guess what? LITERALLY CLICK OFF THE VIDEO!! If you get so annoyed and pressed about mis-pronunciations, Then literally click off the video, Don't shit on him 💀

1:19:48 - I often have a dream (nightmare I guess) where I'm alone on an Island no bigger than a baseball diamond set in the middle of the ocean. There's no moon, stars, or any light source but there is an extremely faint ambient light that allows me to barely make out water foam and objects about a meter in front of me. Usually the water begins to rise and I'm forced to the centre of the island where there's a rocky formation about 3m tall that I need to climb to get to safety. Eventually I'm sitting/standing at the top of the formation with water occasionally flowing over my feet. Its really the sounds that freak me out the most, the water sloshing against the rocks, the wind blowing, and the water just moving about. Just hits me to my core.

      John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
      Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Schaefer's Anglerfish is referring to a specific type of Anglerfish, namely Sladenia Shaefersi. It's a bottom-dwelling fish that walks along the floor with footlike appendages, lives at great depths, and does the expanding stomach thing so it can swallow things bigger than itself.

Great video, alot more information than the one sourcebrew did, when sourcebrew got to "eels" and how mysterious they were, he didn't provide much information on them, but i like how you provide alot more information and go in depth
But as another comment said, you just need to slow down a bit and not stumble on the words so it doesn't sound like your reading a script rather more natural, i get that can be hard to do in 1hr 30 min video but once you find the right way to read out loud itll come naturally.

    • @wyattgeorge9696

      @erinelizabeth9404 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Completely agree, I enjoyed the video but I absolutely can NOT stand when the person making it doesn't bother to go back and fix those easy, minor mistakes. About 60-70% of the parts of the ice berg have him mispronouncing/ stumbling over commonly known words, if he spent the time to go back and just fix those little parts it would sound so much more professional. It's giving rushed, careless, and tacky.

They're assembled and churned out as soon as humanly possible because it's not a pursuit of content but instead a pursuit of channel engagement. Everything else is essentially a baron desert. You don't have to explore every inch of a desert to know what it contains.
