You guys are so wonderful!! North is an amazing and patient dog!! Tory and the kids love love!! Jim you are a special person with a wonderful family and dog
Hey Jim and Tori , wow what a dream life your living! My wife and I live off grid in California for 12 years now. Wouldnt 21:52 live any other way . I grew up in Alaska and my family lived off grid for the first 3 years up there. That was 1970,lol . Now because of my love for the outdoors I choose to live as much as possible off of what we grow and hunt, fish. I'm an old guy now and am at home most the time so watching your lifestyle brings me back to the best times of my life. I hunted trapped and fished mostly in the winters with my own dogsled and team of dogs My father traversed the Alaskan pipeline in 1971 with a fellow by the name of slim handles. He's a writer and has many books. My family is in one of them. At this time we lived up Indian creek in Indian Alaska. Anyways thanks and HAPPT TRAILS!
watched a few videos and enjoyed them, didn't know about your family. a beautiful wife and 2 beautiful boys will fill your heart. the challenges are worth it, and don't forget to appreciate each other. you are both great parents !

Damn, you guys are amazing adventures and parents. Two have the patience and wherewithal to bring your kids on this adventure, so that they learn about the beauty of the countries is such a wonderful thing and quiet and. U2 are so well suited for each other your patience and love and teamwork just makes it work.. I missed how old Hudson is, but he is a fully energetic toddler. You and Wesley are absolutely beautiful children.. sorry Wes has the neurological challenges but it looks like you guys are well in touch with what you need to do to help his development I’m gonna watch your canoe portion of this trip again I had it playing yesterday as I was doing many other things and missed a lot of it so I will put that on again today. I saw your interview with Dave and Brooke Whipple and I’ve been following them for a long time.. so glad I found you guys☮️💕🙏🏻👏 keep on Truckin
Great job. I haven’t watched yet. I just listened for the half hour drive home, for me This! Is the Canadian family. I Already liked this and I will watch it in its entirety tonight. Again great work to all your family. Keep on keeping it real. ❤
Video is excellent! Made me feel as if I was along for the ride! You and your Wife are amazing, your kids are very cute... it's so awesome to see a family take trips like this.. I feel your video is cable tv quality!
I Love you videos... The boys are the cutest and you both are such a cute couple and great parents.... The adventures are amazing... Much love and respect from Chicago Il.
The best way to cook fresh corn is to first soak it, husk and all, in water for a good half hour. Then cook it in its husk slowly over an open fire. By de husking it, you loose a lot of flavor. The husk also gives you a good handle for holding the corn when it's time to eat.
Great video so far, can't wait to watch the entire video. Speaking about dease Lake. I used to work at Norther Lights College. Which has a satellite campus. I am sure there is internet connection. As I used to email the campus. I always wanted to make it there but, alas I was not able to make the trip. So watching the views is just spectacular. Thanks again for bringing me along.
Wouldn’t you guys be more comfortable and it be tons less work if you had a travel trailer. One that’s good for off road too. You all could sleep inside, have all your stuff in there, cook, do dishes, take a shower? Thanks for taking us along. Really enjoy your family and adventures. Love from Maine USA!
If you use a word from a song like Spellbound you should play part of the song 🎵 I have Triumph in my head now 😂 When I go kayak fishing tomorrow I'll be sure to play it .. Great video have an awesome summer 🤟
I love your family trip it’s amazing Your kids are amazingly beautiful especially driving 5000 klm they are so well behaved ❤from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada ❤
Agreed! Driving roads with sheer cliffs is insanely scary, especially roads that are one lane and high up above, lets say, a river!!! Like, when you look out the driverside window, you can't see the road beneath you! That narrow! F that was scary!
Kind of, this one is the full doc version. Typically I release my episodic series in stand-alone episodes, then, a while later I out them all together into a single super long video.
Just a note to always check for fire bans when travelling through areas with forest fires. Even fires in designated camp fire rings are banned at times in BC. Usually June through September depending on the year.

Agreed! Driving roads with sheer cliffs is insanely scary, especially roads that are one lane and high up above, lets say, a river!!!

How did the truck handle pulling that trailer?
❤ Hi Jim,
Is it true that the dog has previously been sprayed by a skunk?
🤔😁
I am really interested in the trailer you used for this trip, what is the name of it
Tori is always quitting or leaving the trips 😂
Always as in maybe once?
@JimBairdAdventurer, Where's the rest of the trip? I don't see a video for the canoe leg of this adventure?
I think you saw it by now but here is us Into Alaska | 10-Days Family Camping on the Wild Stikine River in B.C. & Alaska - Full Documentary

This must be from late summer 2023? That corn on the cob is way too big for this season.
What type of dogbreed do you have?
Are you using towing function on the truck? It is shifting up and down way to much! Worried for your transmission…
We can really see Wesley reaching for his dog or his brother, It sounds liek he might be making sounds even if it's not words. Is that the case or is my hearing just bad, I;m old,
The raccoons ate every ear of corn in our garden last year. They literally annihilated it. Not a kernel left on the cob!!
Omg! Seems like you might go through tuns of fire season!…
Fire season plus expensive gas equals.. no good.
