This is probably one of the saddest moments i've ever played through in a videogame. Looking for her desperately as we heard her humming, but knowing she was gone (i even thought you could take Pequod...and still refused to). It really made me depressed for a day or two...and all over a stupid video game character...whose arc i really felt.

You guys know you can get her back as a buddy right??? After she leaves you can play the first mission where you go against her and if you beat that mission a handful of times, she will be back at the base and will be able to use her as a buddy again
I forgot how well acted the moment was where she chose to speak, how heavily it weighed on Quiet and how she finally looked at Snake and knew what she had to do. Beautiful, beautiful moment. Who said video games couldn't make you tear up, right? And yes, to me, this is the end of the game.

Those who stuck around, really found out by the end how much of a masterpiece this game truly was, kojima really makes games that are ahead of it's time, it takes years for people to understand and start appreciating it. Remember MGS2 that now is highly regarded as one of the best game ever, during it's release was heavily criticized due to it's story and the game was "unfinished" cuz bunch of things were cut.

freddie10001000 bruh next game the metal series is dead and quiet is dead with it all of the mg characters except for raiden are dead solid snake, venom snake, naked snake/big boss, quiet, otacon is probably dead, Naomi hunter, DD probably passed away, D horse passed away, the d walkers don’t last decades, and Paz is dead hell even the main villains like sniper wolf, liquid snake, ocelot, solidus, psycho mantis, big boss sorry but again, and many more that a very forgettable

Actually, that's about one of the first things you see in the game, her speaking in english, lol. (Of course, i didn't really register her as Quiet then, so it took me a while to realize she was the assassin from the beginning...but then again Big Boss is the reason she's like that)
She used to be able too but she got burnt by the original Snake in the beginning of the game but got revived by skullface and gets turned into whatever she is.
