Just in case anyone would like a helpful tip about how to cover up hidden objects....I've found that you can lighten the black lines by going over the hidden objects with an eraser and then I like to finish covering it up with Windsor and Newton white ink. I learned this hack of using the white ink from Shelly from Shel's Colouring Journey
Those hidden objects are sooooo annoying. I agree. I don't like them either. Thanks for the flip throughs. Very helpful!
The newest books don't have the hidden objects anymore. It's so much better.
When I first got one of these mythographic books, I was so overwhelmed. But then I did a page and I was hooked and they are some of my fave books! Loved seeing the flip thrus and your completed pages are FAB! TFS my dear. Have a great weekend!
Honestly, they still overwhelm me sometimes because it is so hard for me to see what is what.

The newer Joseph Catimbangs don't have hidden objects. Almost the perfect time to get one. 😊

There is the new one from Joseph Catimbang Wild Winter released week ago. I think this is the best book from all Mythographic serie

That one and Odyssey are his best. He's also the best out of the three Mythographic artists.
Love this video and I agree that the little out-of-place images ruin the look of the beautiful drawings. Sometimes, I'll try to redraw the lines and color over those where I can, to hide them. Your completed pages are gorgeous, thank you so much! ❤️

I'm glad you enjoy them. They are brilliantly drawn and I love that you reminded me of the seek and finds when I was little. Its a great way to look at the hidden objects.
I think I like Joseph Catimbang the best but I think that's it's mostly because his books seem to have less hidden objects. LOL
I believe that future books by Joseph catimbang won't have hidden items

Omg! These pages are flipping beautiful! I need to get colouring in mine. I really want the aquatic one and your girl in it i incredible! I even love your bee page and I am terrified of bees
Aww, thank you so much sweetie! You sound like my partner with the bees. He is allergic and also terrified. I don't color in these near as much as I should. If you ever want a buddy color with the slowest colorist on the planet lmk and we could do one together!

Thanks so much for the flip throughs, I really enjoyed seeing the images in these books. I have a few of them but haven't managed to colour anything yet because those darn hidden objects drive me crazy. I never know what to do with them, and they're just so random. I feel like they ruin the beautiful artwork. I'm hoping you're right and some of Joseph Catimbang's new books will not contain those things. I would definitely buy them! I love your finished pages, I think you did a wonderful job! Thanks again.
The random objects are VERY hard for me to cover up and I do feel like it lessens the beauty of the page. Joseph Catimbang had posted to instagram that he is doing a mythographic book without hidden images. I am very excited for when he finishes it. Thanks for watching!

I just checked Amazon and Joseph has two coming out; one is Voyage, with hidden images in May and the other, Magical Earth, due out in October, is without. Fabiana Attanasio has Mythogoria coming out in August and Menagerie in July. All can be pre-ordered now!

Not in the next book but the one after that Joseph Catimbang has said there will be no more hidden objects. It was on his instagram. Fabiana is my second favorite for the mythographic series and I think that only because I love her Fairy tale books so much. I wish there were more of those.

I'm absolutely thrilled to hear Joseph Catimbang is doing a book without the hidden images. I can't stand them. I have four or five Mythographic books and his are my favorites because he has less hidden objects in them. Fabiana draws beautifully, but hers are so filled with those darn objects it looks awful, some are trash-filled water scenes. I'm hoping this idea of no hidden images takes off, then I would definitely add them to my horde..
You and me both! I would love for the hidden images to just stop. The pics are gorgeous and then it's so hard to hide them while coloring.
Please do more color alongs for these books I just started collecting them too and I love watching color alongs!!!
I dont remember if I ever did a color along with mythographic books but if you go to my channel there is a playlust full of color alongs you can check out. I'll see if I can start one soon. Thanks for watching.
My favorite is the Paradise by fabian attanasio, i like her style the best
I only have two coloring books. I have none of the Mythographic but my absolute dream is to have: the Enchanted Castles one, and then I would also like to have the Paradise and the Animals one.
Hi! new subscriber here. I find these books very intimidating and I’ve never heard of anyone saying the like the random objects, I may get the one coming out without them because the art work is beautiful!

No I hate the hidden objects too. If they made sense and went with the page theme sure but random trinkets are distracting. I am going to use posca white pen to cover them up and use a fine line pen to help complete where the object was then hopefully camouflage the spot. I know that's the point of the discover books but yeah these are beautifully done and those things ruin it imo.
I am so glad the new books don't have the hidden images. I agree completely, these pages are too beautiful to have all that nonsense.

As for the mirrors, I think it is a trick of the eye. Theu we're colored with one light blue marker and I covered the lines with white posca pen. I hope that helps. Okay, one more comment: Denise Klette has a new book coming out called Birds In The Forest. You'll remember her for Gnomes In The Neighborhood, Mermaids In Paradise and Fairies In Dreamland. Also can be pre-ordered.
Too funny! I am setting to post a video of my Denyse Klette collection with finished pages. I'll have to see the bird book before I decide. I'm not a huge fan of coloring birds. BUT....if they're really cartoonish I may really enjoy them.

I haven't finished any pages in the one book I have by Joseph catimbang intimidated by the art lol.
I completely understand, that's why I habe so few finished pages. I think they are beautiful and I don't want to mess it up. 🙃
What markers did you use with the girl and the bees ?
I used Cali art markers on that one.

I don't habe a video coloring that page but I could probably do something similar if you're interested.
