They are such lovely books and although you have 15 of them, you have coloured a lot of pages in them. I remember you doing most of them. I love them all. Some just need a bit more contrast perhaps, but that's a small detail to the overall beauty of them. This style of art suits you very nicely and just allows you to use all the beautiful metallic paints that you so love. I'm glad I saved the second half for after work today. The site owners have forced me to have a "new" fire door installed between my unit and the corridor to the ancient toilets and it's disgustingly awful. Second hand. Battered. Horrid dark wood coloured with a huge pane of reinforced glass in it. The frame they fitted for it is made of cheap pine (who thought that was a good idea for a fire door) and has gaps all around it. The whole thing rattles and shakes and will let even more draft in. I am not a happy camper. I needed your gorgeous colours to sooth me.

All you pages are blooming amazing 👏 ❤. I have 3 of these books and i still haven't plucked up the courage to colour in any of them 🤦♀️😂 You are always way too hard on yourself. Every single page you've ever coloured is always at least 10 times better thsn what i could do. Please have more faith in yourself because you are an amazing colourist and never forget that ❤️
Paradise IS a beautiful book. The pirate ship page is probably the one that first made me look at Mythographic. It's one of the main three I want to be redone without the objects the most.. the other two are Animals and Aquatic. There were so many in those early books and they are just impossible to block out in a way they don't ruin the picture. There is one right smack in the middle of the main sail of the big pirate ship for example. Even blocked out with ink or colored over it's the first thing you see when you look at the page. Perhaps one day I will find something that will let me work in them and be happy with the result.

All the artwork you’ve done in these are so beautiful 😍 I love how you experiment with different mediums on one page. I tend to stick with one medium but these videos make me braver to try other mediums too! Really wish I had more motivation though to colour more pages 😓

Really beautiful pages K. I dont understand you why you always take yourself down ? You have amazing pages always you are so critical dont be so critical. Walk outside relax and your coloring mood coming back. Walking in the fresh air also helps to exhaust a little inspiration. 😉🌹
This is just my opinion/preference.. but I found with this series a very basic background seems to help the finished result. There is just SO much going on.. whenever I get crazy with the back.. galaxies, bokeh, wild color mixes, etc.. everything just kind of blends together. I always intent to be "simple" with the foreground for contrast.. but it never actually happens lol, so it's just "everything everywhere". I also try to contrast the background color with the main subject but in a desaturated tone.. so a muted blue behind an orange giraffe for example.
