Here's a fun fact for you. The Great Pyramid of Giza was built in c 2550 BC, it was the tallest structure in the world. It remained the tallest structure in the world until the tower spire at Lincoln Cathedral was completed in the early 14th century. The spire collapsed in 1548 during a storm. So... for some 3800 years the tallest man made structure on Earth stayed the same, a record which will likely never be broken.

As an architect myself while attending USC the 7th year of the program is traveling worldwide to visit the most amazing structures. On that last year we went to many places but I will always remember the petronas towers in Malaysia and the burj khalifa in Dubai
I have been to the Great Wall and it is truly impressive. You can see it travel along the low mountains for miles and miles as it twist and turns. Some of the areas are not built up and some way too built up, there is one part with a zoo and waterslides = tacky. Then there are others that havent been updated in years. There are cable cars going up to one part that seem very unsafe, with small tunnels heading up to it. I would think it would be the first place to be modernized but I heard they are going to expand the metro from Beijing to the closest part of the wall so I suppose they are doing it then.

Your units of measurement are all over the place. Yards, miles, inches, feet, metres, square feet, acres, cubic yards, cubic metres, and probably a couple I've since forgotten. Are you trying to convey scale or confuse us? It sure looks like the latter to me!
You could have covered it all using the metre, two prefixes (milli and kilo), and its square and cube, and it would have been a hell of a lot more understandable.

What's the problem? I use the English system of measurements. I know that a meter is roughly 3 inches longer that three feet (one yard). If I cannot conceptualize 3837 meters I do the math.
When you make a video, you use what you are used to. Just do the conversions in your head and get on with it.Those of us that live in Imperial measurements do it when the presenter uses Metric, so quit pissing and moaning and learn to convert. (It is simple math)
Yeah in Canada we use a mix of both imperial and metric. Most things are metric but lots of things are still done the ol Imperial way.. we were taught both systems here. I had no problem with this video.
