Oh, the Scottish rock goddess, Shirley Manson...I like her in a very special way! 😆 Disregarding my lustful ramblings, she is a very good vocalist and a fantastic entertainer and the band is excellent also, with good songwriting, playing and production. The drummer, Butch Vig, is also a talented producer (he produced Nirvana's Nevermind album).

Yes, a great song by an under rated band. I bought an old Volkswagen a while back and it only has a tape deck. I have been listening to my old tapes ever since. Garbage is my go-to road trip music.
"Cherry lips" is TOTALLY different and so amazing. "Milk" is the total opposite but those 2 show her range. Met her once, what a sweetheart. I was terrifies of her and she was just an angel to her fans and made sure to take her time talking to them. Will never forget it. Almost pooped myself.
Shirley has a commanding presence, for sure. The next Garbage song I'd like you to react to is "Bleed Like Me" - the video where Shirley is dressed like a nurse. You haven't reacted to Blondie or The Pretenders yet? Better get to it, Jay!
Thanks for more Garbage, Jay. I don't see one of my favorite Garbage tunes requested by anyone else - "You Look So Fine" - really great song that shows a more vulnerable side of Shirley Manson.

Love Garbage. Lucky enough to see them live in Dublin a couple of years ago. Even grungier live.Shirley is so cool because she is so genuine, doesn't try be someone she isn't
I saw them at "First Avenue" bar in Minneapolis (Prince made it famous) about 15 years ago in what was dubbed their "homecoming" because that's where their career took off in the 90's. Two guys started a fight in front of the stage and Shirley, in that sexy Scottish accent, threatened to hop down and kick both of their asses. That was the end of that fight.
I can't believe this song has so few views! MAAAAAN. This was huge on the "alternative" music circuit in the mid-90s. Just killer track. When it'd come on the radio, oh, geez. I’ve seen Garbage three times... gah, such amazing shows. You’re right; Shirley just dominates.
at one gig she was constantly walking circles around her mic stand, which was very confusing to watch... no idea whats on her mind sometimes xD
