@@stevecarter8810 That happens a lot. :-) Electric Light Orchestra's "Don't Bring Me Down" was basically thrown together by Jeff Lynne at the last minute, too; the album ("Discovery") was running a bit short on side 2, and he felt like it needed one more song to fill it out, so he just banged it out in the studio practically overnight, no orchestration, just synthesizer and guitars and a drum loop recycled from an unused take of a different song -- and it became a huge hit for them. Lady Madonna, & Jack & Diane do that to me- & I **hate** them...
Every single person on Love Island for sure!
This is one of the most memorable moments of the 90's precisely because it was so tongue in cheeky and catchy as hell. They were anything but one hit wonders, by the way.
I'm still laughing "I'm to sexy for Milan, New York and Japan" This saw so corny it was cool. BTW: Too Sexy - George Michael!
You mean “Too funky” by George Michael 😉
Yeah too funky!
Oh, this is what I love about reaction videos. That look on your face, Jayvee. Don't worry I always laughed at this but you made me laugh harder all the way through. Trying to dance to it. This reaction was worth a second look. Too funny.
This song is basically the musical answer to Zoolander!
Zoolander is the movie answer to this song. The song was first.
Great 🤣
I'm not even done watching. Your reaction to the 1st verse is priceless. Just priceless 😂
This is the earliest I’ve ever commented! Happy New Year everybody. JayVee you were the best thing about 2020! This guy also was a featured player in the band in David Bowie’s Blue Jean video. Artist for next year...John Cougar Mellencamp.
One of my favorite Bowie songs
One of my favorites too. Great video!! 🤘💖
Bust out the "rain on the scarecrow" by John cougar mellencamp
The laugh is contagious and your reaction is everything. This song was so popular when I was a little girl. It’s been a while since and hearing those lyrics at an adult....wow. 😂😂😂😂
These guys are fabulous! Fred used to have a gym just off the Fulham rd Chelsea London we all used to all hang out there. It's all very tongue in cheek with them! Very fun! ❤🙌
A (lose) friend of mine told me he lived on Mimosa Street at the time. Not sure if its true though... appearently she lived on that same street...
The 90s had so many different types of music. EVERYTHING was up for grabs. Grunge, Alternate, Rap, Gangster Rap, R&B, Pop, Country, Metal, Boy Bands, Techno, Trance and some- like this, we have NO IDEA what the hell it is, but we really didn't care! This was when color, sex etc just didn't matter at all. You like it- you just rocked it!
and don't forget euro dance it was so popular as well during that time
This is freaking hilarious, nice choice! Way to start the new year with a big smile.
We all thought , this was about people that thought THEY were all that , and they weren't.
You got that right!
Knowing this song well, I was already laughing when I read it in the title of the video before clicking on it. "I'm too sexy for this video," lol!
The band was named after a song by comedy actor Bernard Cribbins called Right Said Fred.
When I was deployed to Iraq this song came on the radio, and it was stuck in my head all day, lol. Full battle rattle, armed to the teath.... (I'm to sexy for my shirt)...
The other song by them I remember was "Deeply Dippy". Just as cringeworthy, but also fun :)
Best comment from Jay on this: "His own song had to walk off" LMFAO!!!
Don’t front, this gonna be the jam playing when you groom in the morning.
🤣🤣🤣
Just keep I'm Too Sexy in the room where you groom!
The first time I heard this song, I was a teenager and riding to church with my parents and siblings and we were listening to the Top 40 and it came on as a new release and we listened, then there was a pause and then we all started laughing and didn't stop til we got out of the car. You seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. :P
I shake my lil tush on the catwalk"- Lol, that one got me.
Right Said Fred: “I’m too sexy for my shirt”
Jay: “WHAT?” 😂
When I was a kid in the early ‘90s, before TH-cam - there was the Video Request Channel on cable. Basically a jukebox with a scrolling screen & an 800 # to call in automated song requests for a couple of dollars. This song was on there ALL THE TIME
Omg I forgot about that! I also remember having to be ready with my cassette tape to record songs I liked when they came on the radio lol.
@@jolieakea1640 Totally! So many partial songs haha. My local rock station played full albums on Sunday nights - it was the best! Such a vibe being at the ready to hit record haha
me too I was 11 /12 when this song came out jajajajaja the beat is amazing the lyrics so fun .
I have fond memories when I hear this song. Good times.
I have a friend who, while in the locker room, started singing this as she started stripping. Was hilarious
Did you take a video? If so, upload it and tell us where we can watch it.
A friend, yes. ;-)
Wise friend. I do the same sometimes.
I knew you would laugh at this song, I laugh whenever I hear this and I love to laugh. My late Mums face was so funny when she heard this, her jaw literally dropped and then she started laughing till she cried, she had terrible depression at the time and this seemed to lift her spirits especially when one of my siblings who couldn't sing would strut around the room. A wonderful reaction that will hopefully stay with me. God bless you sweetheart, love hugs and peace Mary-Ellen UK
Your laugh is contagious THANK YOU !!!
Next up should be Aqua's Barbie Girl. Lol
I love that song 😂😂
Oh no...
Rammstein version, please!
And then "I Touch Myself" by the Divinyls.
@@ckobo84 Great Aussie group. Are you from Oz? I'm from Lake Macquarie NSW
This song was great back in the day. Still is. It's the song that best describes me.
😂😂You finally did it! I would call this a novelty song of which there were many when I was growing up. Can you Imagine all the kids and the elderly singing this.... So funny. I love it. 😆
It was a novelty song. That's why its a one hit wonder! But it still fills the dance floor at parties even now.!!
I had so much fun dancing along with your astonishment and remembering the day 😄
